Should DC push Midnighter more? He's already a fan favorite and had a solo title, but they barely give any attention to him. I feel he has more potential to become a popular character than generic Batfamily member #45345335.

When does this become more than a saturday morning cartoon with villains of the week?
I got on this wagon after wanting more cool action shows with great arcs after watching Spectacular Spidey, but BTAS is kinda developing more slowly.
It doesn't, it was nearly unheard of to write cartoons like that back then.

There's several multipart episodes. I think the first is the Two Face one, but yeah it's a serialised crime drama starring Batman.
And it's probably the best serialised crime drama animated or not.
Anyone else feel like DC should do something with Superman where he actually looks and behavels like um idk...AN ALIEN??? Weve had all kinds of superman proxies in the past, and Martian Manhunter is the only one that should have stuck as the real Supes.

And what should I read to catch up with her appearances since Civil War?
In the recent poster, she was relatively near the front, and her show has done well, so I imagine they are currently regretting making her a mommy and trying desperately to think of stories they can tell with her.
Personally I liked her better in Alias. She had tried to be a hero, failed, and was a mildly-superpowered PI with PTSD and drinking problems. I mean, she was a breath of fresh air from the usual heroines, and even heroes. Now she is pretty much just a reasonably well adjusted super-heroine...

Marvel is already doing the whole mother superhero thing with Spider Woman, they will keep her quiet for a while. They're mostly pushing for movie characters, not Netflix. You don't see them suddenly pushing Daredevil either. It's all about Carol / Inhumans.
So no Marvel probably doesn't care about Jessica Jones right now and won't unless they have a great idea for a story to tell with her.
So if he wrote all of the original Silver Age Marvel comics why does everything about them from characterization to tone to style change when there's an artist switch?
Why do characters like Daredevil and Iron Man have such inconsistent tones until there's a stable artist on the book?
Why do characters like Dr. Strange completely change personality when they guest star in a book like F4 that's drawn by a different artist?
We've established that he generally dictated the broader strokes of the mags and left much of the smaller page to page work to the artists. This isn't new ground you're covering.

Mark Millar has just announced that he is taking a break sometime next year to work on either a new DC or Marvel miniseries.
Apparently he has the option to do either.
The DC mini would be a Superman "epic" he's been dying to do.
The Marvel mini would be "important" universe-wise.
He wants to do one before heading into Starlight 2 or Huck 2.
Which should he should choose?
