What does /co/ thinks about Chicken Run?
i wanna fuck those chickensfor real tho, i loved it as a kid
>>84151367
This had to be related to Wallace and Gromit, right?
>>84151367
It's really really good.
Loved it as a kid and appreciated all the WW2 stuff when I rewatched it as an adult.
I don't get what everyone was so pissy over. Dumb but cool. The Knightmare sequence with Batman reking shit and shooting mercs was by far the most entertaining take on Batman in film.
>You don't know anything about Batman. He never, ever kills.
I want the moralfags to leave. That shit gets pushed down our throats almost constantly in every other form of media than BvS.
You're entitled to your opinion, just don't expect most people to share it.
>>84151355
Too much like mainstream Hollywood trash, not enough like comicbook movies.
The further you get from the source material the more fans hate ut, regatdless of what it is, and being the 6th time a visual medium has used the same Dark Knight Returns action sequence doesn't count.
Maybe if you're just a /tv/ person its okay, but most DC fans fucking hated it and most other comic fans disliked it.

>Dumb but cool.
Cool is the single worst description you could ever make of a movie.
Newsarama: Neal, there are so many fun things happening in this comic. Was your goal to make it so much fun and so positive, yet have a bit of a message in there?
Neal Adams: You're right. I did put a lot of things in there. First of all, I love Jack Kirby, and I love Jack Kirby's work. And I really don't, between you, me and the fence post, like the idea that people take Jack Kirby characters and change them, because they don't need to be changed.
So I thought, you know, I want to do Jack Kirby, I want to throw as many of Jack Kirby's...

Neal Adams: Superman is not exactly that kind of guy. He is very optimistic, he's very joyful, he's very interesting, he loves things. He falls in love vainly and he loves his parents. His mom is still around — for the most part; I never know when somebody else is doing it, whether his mom and dad are still around.
But he's a daytime character, as opposed to a nighttime character.
So for me, the idea of then pitting Jack Kirby's Darkseid against Superman is exactly what I want to do. I want to show the light against the dark. I want to show...

Nrama: Interesting. I was suspecting the boy, but didn't really think about the dog. Is the puppy really that significant?
Adams: In some ways, that is the whole story.
I want my audience to go, he's got a kid and a dog? What the hell's going on? That's cute. And you really kind of love that kid.
Well, that's Superman, for me. That's taking Superman and planting him in a world that I want to see Superman in.
Nrama: You've said before that the Supermen from New Krypton are inspired by Gunga Din. What do they bring...

Neal Adams, man, you are a genius.

Well /co/ how do we save Jason Todd/ Red Hood?
Kill him again. But before let Roy fuck him hard.
Ignore everything from the New 52. Turn him back into constant reminder of failure for Batman, an evil counterpart for Nightwing, and a cautionary tale for all of Batman's sidekicks.
Redemption shouldn't stick. It doesn't fit him.

Stop trying to turn him into Edgy Nightwing, for starters.

Remember when Stan Lee had a reality show where people cosplayed as their Superhero OCs? The prize was a comic book written by Stan and a cameo in a Syfy original movie.

Didn't most of those comics and movies end up being terrible?
