Could work honestly. Both about kids exploring strange, mystical worlds. Let's say that there's some portal in Gravity Falls that leads to the world of Spirited Away, and the Pines have to find a way back home, while also trying to get Chihiro back home.
Have Dipper and Chihiro hook up, even if they separate at the end. Maybe have them promise to visit each other when they grow up.
Have Yubaba be the main villain since this is SA's world.

This is coming along very well. Are you planning on using gradients and blurs on the crystal like what you're doing with the background? I feel like the clarity and contrast of the lines on the crystal betrays it's depth.
