All I remember is that the animation got better in the 2nd season.

the first series was alright, and it was ttraditionally animated by I believe the same studio to animate the Gormiti cartoon (if you don't know what gormiti is, they were these tiny capsule machine plastic monster toys)
the show had a huuuuge drop in quality after they changed the animation from traditional to flash, very much the same as the gormiti show actually, that turned its traditional animation into 3d rendered crap

Season 2 was last season of SRMTHG tier awesome, but it was a sleeper hit so people paid it no mind. One of the last few great Saturday morning shows before the collapse.

I'm just wondering, are all the people that hate on shows for aiming to have more diverse female casts and spouting the "tumblr" meme just hidden homos? I mean, I really don't get why anyone would be against. Since a kid I've always liked the girls in my cartoons, since well I liked girls. I never really fealt much need to identify with characters in cartoons, so when I was watching or Hercules and Hunchback of Notre Dame half the time I was thinking of Esmeralda or Megara and how I would kiss them, hug them and rub me wee-wee on their tummies or whatever...

I like fan service as much as any dude but I have noticed that the more female characters a show has the more the actual quality o its story tends to suck and the more insufferable its fan base becomes.
Korra, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe all suck, is my point.

Only two years on Nick, then it was cancelled. For whatever reason, it took them three more years to air the season 3 episodes.
Pretty much anything on Nickelodeon that isn't FOP or Spongebob I'd say is game.
