What's the consensus on Brian/Manapul's run on the Flash? The book is crap now, but I personally really enjoyed what they did before the writer/artist changed. Was just curious to how you anons felt about it

I know that feel. It's like people forgot what the term actually means, and even then, I think wee/a/boos bitch entirely too much about it. Most filler arcs I've seen in anime were either as good or, in the case of shows based on weaker manga, better than the rest of the show. They're usually full of unusual ideas and characters you don't get from most of the series, because you can tell the writers are chafing from literally adapting the manga and want the freedom to write original stories in that setting.

Powerless is one of four pilots ordered by the network on Thursday that also include Marlon Wayans potentially returning to TV in a self-titled series. A brand new season of Samurai Jack is being made for Adult Swim Toonami. Coming in 2016.
After two weeks off from the normal lineup we are finally back, and we begin Samurai Champloo. Last weeks numbers were record lows for the shortened lineup, this week was better but not much to talk about. AgK and Parasyte had great retention between each other but AgK was pretty down from normal. The end of the block took a hit, but still up from last week. An ok start for Champloo though.
