I'm not sure if this has been answered/speculated in previous SU generals, but now thatPeridot is a Crystal GemI've been wondering-
The other CG's have gem constructs, like Garnet's gauntlets. Peridot originally had artificial limbs that acted similarly (that have been long since destroyed) so is she not capable of making her own constructs, or is it possible she just doesn't know how like Steven in the first season?

It really depends. Jasper was able to create her helmet, so we at least know that Homeworld knows how to make constructs.
She probably needs to learn how. The rubies didn't all have the iron fist like ours did in the Homeworld flashback.

Having Leia and Yoda in Rebels, seems to screw up the timeline of the canon. Not that it ever made a ton of sense, but Rebels seems too recent to New Hope now.
