So I came across a thing earlier about Thor Vs Wonder Woman. I'm a big Marvel fan and thought 'well man that'd be a cool fight'. Cos I figured Thor is this ancient mystical warrior type with a magic weapon and super strength and flight and such. And Wonder woman is pretty much likewise. Shes based on a different mythos and has different tools but the two have their similarities as far as I knew. So in my head i figured (based on less than stellar wonder woman knowledge) that it would be kind of an even fight.
But apparently the thread was pretty overwhelming in the idea that Wonder Woman would speed blitz him and dismantle him in nanoseconds. That shes not flash speed but still moves at near light or some crazy shit. And I realized I heard similar stuff about supes, and martian manhunter, captain atom, even heard green lanterns can automatically react with their rings anything above speed of sound. So it made me wonder...are all their villains just that fucking fast.
Cos mind you marvel has their speedsters and super super fast types like Silver Surfer. but even in his case its more travel speed not combat speed exactly. Not that SS isn't silly in his power feats outside of that.
But I would have to imagine most of the DC big hitter villains would need to be whatever their schtick is....AND really really really fucking fast in order to not instantly be dismantled by the hero.
Is that the case or is it more like consistent PIS situations like Black Panther getting the surfer into a fucking arm bar, or Gladiator being beaten by gods own faggot Gambit?

some of them are just as fast like Cheetah and Zoom, some of them have enough defense that the surprise brought by speed is negated by accurate attacks, there ae those who use area attacks and telekensis/telepathy to limit the options of movement, there are also those who remove the speed advantage like the Turtle, then there are people like the rogues who specialize and plan against speedsters.

So, anyone know anything about this? This show aired way back about 9 years ago on Teletoon in Canada, in between other shows and such. Eventually they stopped showing it and it just faded from memory. I recently saw this DVD in a Salvation Army, which I will divulge was somewhere in Ontario where the show was produced. The box feels kinda cheep, the cover looks printed and the disc label is definitely printed and glued, as it covers the inner translucent ring of the disc. Looks like it was made to pitch the idea of a release? It looks like a really nice bootleg to me, but the DVD itself is properly mastered - legit menus, no channel logos. Bit of a mystery. It was shrink wrapped too, I would have left it closed if there was a market for it, but it doesn't look like another one exists. Any help /co/? I'll post pics in a sec.

Anyways of the 3 minutes of research I've done on this, it doesn't look like the thing had a dvd release. Yeah, it could be some sort of bootleg, or some sort of prototype build that was meant for a full release. I'm no expert on this sort of stuff, but yeah, you should send pics to show how legit it is.
If it does turn out to be some sort of prototype, you have a neat little thing in your hands.
I found this entire series sitting in a bargain bin at the comic shop, I can get it for pennies an issue. But would it be worth bothering?
