Why must DC insist on trying to make this character a thing? Who even likes this character?
He was ass when he first introduced.
>No care was taken to make him distinct, likeable, or even interesting. He even looked generic. With his Rebirth "redesign" if he didn't have that "lighting" part in his haircut he'd look just like Miles Morales.

He's actually very expressly one of the worst written characters in the New 52 regardless of his name or race.

Not gonna lie. I'm really looking forward to seeing these two hook up in live action.
Meh, won't happen in the show, maybe at a later point, like with jones and cage. I'm really looking forward to him hooking up with claire.
Hopefully it'll be better than the JessxLuke sex scenes. Maybe I'm watching too much porn but it seemed like it was five minutes of "rough" sex made up entirely of weak thrusting and Jess slapping Luke on the shoulder a lot.
