Not really. They've been a consistent menace to them. Every encounter hey had they were forced to retreat. The only protagonist who was able to stand against them was Ahsoka, and she's out of the picture now. And the only reason the Inquisitors were 'BTFO', as you call it, was because of Darth Maul.
So nah. The Inquisitors are still a viable threat to the Ghost crew. Especially now that Kanan is blind.

Nah. Probably too afraid of Vader. Ezra's really the ideal choice for Maul. Impressionable, has pain, anger and could be turned to hate. And he's not as afraid of the Empire and Vader as the Inquisitors are and isn't untrained in the force. And he's younger than the Inquisitors. So Maul can get alot more mileage out of Ezra than he could with any of them.

Grand Inky also has different teeth than most of his species. I wonder if perhaps he was a hybrid. In Star Wars a lot of times they seem to just refer to hybrids by whichever species trait is most visibly dominate. Like Dathomirian Zabrak are sometimes just called Zabrak although they do have visual differences to other Zabrak.
Not the best case, though, since there's a twisted bit of history between him and Koth's species.

Looked at the credits for Twilight of the Apprentice. Matt Lanter got credited as Anakin Skywalker. Granted, it's probably to clear up confusion with JEJ voicing Vader.
But I like to think for a second that Ahsoka brought Anakin back, made him remember. That almost imperceptible movement of his eyes softening and shoulders slumping before the dark side reigns its ugly head back and he says "Then you will die." She even sounds like her 16 year old self when she says his name.

The bit of white could be a problem with the contact lenses. Well, assuming they weren't digitally blackened. And even then this sounds like the exact kind of anal detail (on my!) that Lucas would catch and have digitally "fixed" during post-produciton.
It COULD be maybe the flesh around the eye, so their eyes really aren't as ovular looking as a human's. Kind of like, oh, the kinds tissue that is sometimes used for scifi or fantasy creatures that blink from the sides of their eyes. Not saying they do, just that the tissue effect would be similar.

You should watch the Q&A for the finale. Filoni explains the symbolism of the glass surface on the planet, how light and dark mix under the surface and they basically descended into the underworld.
Where Maul was, basically 'dead'. He meets Ezra gets literally 'lifted up' during their ascension of the temple by his youth and by the end gets to leave the underworld with new plans to take an apprentice and leave a legacy.
Ahsoka on the other hand, descends into the underworld and gets to confront her past. The final shot mirrors the shot in the temple when she left the Order.
And the Owl things were in the Chopper base episode before - on the other planet - there is no reason for one to actually be on that planet. In fact we've seen that the Sith Weapon burned everything on the planet to ashes.
It's a metaphor. She said 'i'm not gonna leave you this time' Anakin responds with 'then you'll die' and the final shot is like when she walked out on Anakin, only this time into the 'underworld'.
When Anakin leaves on Owl thing watches him, and the same music plays like in the episode before when Ahsoka talked about how she always learns new things, because the Force works in mysterious ways, while an Owl flies over her head.
Basically, she died, became one with the Force and now keeps an eye on Anakin that way. At least that's my interpretation.

I mean seeing Vader actually kill her would be pretty brutal but have greater emotional impact and shock value.
That aside there is no way Ahsoka could have survived against Vader 1:1, unless he let her go. Which would be weird considering his hatred for her. He's not big on forgiveness once he's in the suit. Of course Vader has some slightly rebellious streaks, doing secret stuff on the side without Palpatine knowing.
In a way I think Filoni keept a backdoor open in case the series runs long enough or Disney needs her for something else, but also made the encounter play out in a way that it could be the end of the arc for those two characters' relationship.
But for now I think she's dead. I think it would be better for the story if she was.

It's not really clear how Savage and Feral are related to Talzin. Keep in mind that even if you think Maul's story about being stranded and surviving there was a lie he actually didn't have a ship. He had to steal the Eighth Brothers, which may or may not even have a hyperdrive (we were arguing this last thread). Dude had to eat something and owl, cooked over a lightsaber, is very delicious.
You want to show the symbolism of someone dying or dead? Show her broken lightsabers. Or show a still, orange hand with ash blowing around it. Finished reading Lords of the Sith. Was a pretty good read, though it felt kind of short. The only other NuCanon novel I've read was Lost Stars, so I suppose I'm used to the EU habit of every story being a huge galaxy spanning adventure across multiple planets. I did enjoy the look into Vader and Sheev a great deal. It's a nice all around image when coupled with the Vader comic and this season of Rebels. I'd say I'm greatly enjoying the new canon as a whole so far, speaking as someone that had read almost every book up to the end of Legacy of the Force.

As far as predictions, I'm expecting Ezra's going to start being more ruthless in fighting the Empire and maybe cause some kinda division within the rebels as a result. I think I read that we're also gonna see there's some division of opinion within the Empire as far as how to deal with the rebels, so how all that plays out should be interesting.
I'm starting to wonder where this is all ultimately going to lead, though. Maybe, but even then it'll take time to adapt. Jedi do train blind, but not exclusively and it's early training. They still react to everything their senses tell them, including sight.
I wouldn't expect Kanan's combat to be perfect, or anywhere close. He has to relearn and make all new connections to the Force, and he'll have to rely on them. All it will take is one mistake to be a threat to himself or his friends.
Basically he won because Maul was overconfident. If Maul had struck with Force Push and thrown Kanan off the temple he'd have won. Or Force Choke. He tried to stab someone who was blind and he felt helpless. Classic Maul, always overconfident and it leads to his literal downfall.

No rathtars. No Kanjiklub. The Finalizer is still in orbit around Jakku, finds Han's little barge, fires on it, cripples it, they escape on the Falcon. This saves you several minutes and a terrible fucking scene, while also tightening the focus of the story AND gets rid of the existing problem of the Finalizer just sitting with its thumb up its ass once the Falcon's off Jakku.
With the room you now have, you put back Finn and the Villager, Jakku Message, and the Snowspeeder Chase.
Those are all good scenes that should have been in the movie, unlike the rathtars scene.

Plot was pretty much just trying to copy the beats of the OT, but the characters were pretty fun, and the film itself managed to capture the fun feeling of the OT so I'd say it falls squarely into the "decent" category.
I get that the writers were very deliberately going with a theme of "bad guys never learned from their elders' mistakes and don't truly understand just what they're doing" but Starkiller base felt like the most uninspired and frankly tacked on bullshit. The Death Star, but bigger!!! just doesn't really cut it. They could have just cut the whole Starkiller weapon bit and had the plot be "Rey's seen the map, we gotta get her outta there before she cracks" rather than "we gotta blow up this weapon and save Rey while we're there I guess"

There is a good chance that something occured that would be worth telling the tale of. Perhaps a 'western' with a war between the settlers and Sandpeople, like in Kenobi, which he gets caught up in. He was a major player in all the prequels, half the Legends EU material, a half-dozen games, The Clone Wars, a spirit guide in the OT, and even his voice is in TFA.
Sure, it's legends, but we have a book series charting his childhood right up until TPM, his Knighthood up until AOTC, all the Clone Wars materials (including TCW itself) up til ROTS, a book of him findings his place on Tatooine, several early comic appearances, and a few jaunts off-planet, AND all his OT related appearances. We literally got to see his entire life. It's arguable that, aside from Vader and Luke, he is the most well-shown character in Star Wars.
