Anyone else have this game just to play around with the character creator and make the superheroes we imagine in day dreams? I mean, the game itself isn't bad, and the lore is actually pretty fun once you get into it, but I spend way more time just making characters, all the way to their alter egos and origin stories. I've wanted something like this since I was a kid.
>>82392154
I preferred City of Heroes in every way, shape, and form. Including the character creator.
>>82392353
I played City of Villains back when it first came out, but I never really got too deep into it. I've heard that a lot though, that CoH was the best superhero mmo of all of them. What did it do that Champions doesn't?
>>82392409
It's hard to say. Maybe it had the more interesting world. I preferred CoH's more traditional MMO gameplay too, queuing up actions that had cool downs, compared to Champions "real time" style.
Maybe it's just that CoH was first and everything after just isn't the same.
ITT: Unpopular opinionsThere was nothing wrong with tweaking Bruce Timm's origin for Freeze in New 52 and was honestly for the better. The wife angle just doesn't work for a reoccurring villain since he should stop being a villain once Batman knows his story
>>82392072
While I agree Freeze lacks true staying power, I think the twist withhim and his "wife"makes him less memorable. Freeze is one of the few really justified villains. Hell, I no matter what he does I never think of him as a bad guy. But the new origin kinda makes him another crazy nutjob in Arkham Asylum
Freeze works better as a side character than a real villain. It'd be interesting to see him appear in more stories as just another guy in this universe
I really like the idea of giving Superman a power-suit. New 52 handled it piss-poor, but there's a lot of cool stuff you could do with the concept. Like, how does the suit work? What does it do? How does it affect Superman's powers? Like maybe it concentrates his cells into some of his more refined powers like heat-vision or flight
>>82392072
Maybe Freeze shouldn't be a reoccurring villain, ever think of that? Plus we really needed another crazy villain right? This whole thing was a slap in the face
I'm watching "Savage Time" from the JLAS. Literally every hero that flies is destroying Nazi planes, instantly killing people inside.
Why are we mad at BvS again?
>>82392054
Nazis don't count. Nazis never count.
>>82392122
Nazis are people too anon.
For having a shit story succession, terrible plot and giving too much screen time to those shit sub plots and sub characters that don't matter (LOIS LANE)
and when is the hiatus over

WHAT THE FUCK CN
I have no idea what this show is about. From the 8 minutes of it I watched, it looked like a show about a gay dog and cat trying to raise their adopted vampire child or something.that's what it's about, right?
Tell me I'm pretty.
>>82391572
Fuck off.
>>82391572
You're pretty cutie Tootie
Tootie looks like she smells like glue sticks.
You were out taking a stroll(work with me here)
When a Truck driver carrying radioactive material crashed and splatted you with radioactive goop
The radioactive goop gave you powers instead of cancer

But with powers comes a shift in your alignment

(first alignment listed is your alignment)
Will you use your powers for good or will you use your powers for evil?
Will you do neither and just use your powers to make your life more convenient?

I use my powers to make everyone around me get horny. Orgies all year round.

I just travel around making people suicidal for my own amusement. Could make a lot of money as a mercenary, actually. I just go up to my targets and make them suicidal -- no fuss, no muss.
You don't know about rebirth?
>>82391398
OP's point is that this isn't the first time DC has "drawn the line at $2.99," and last time they did it it was very short lived.
>>82391398
What? They walk it back from $3.99? Still, they're double publishing so you're spending twice as much and it's probably not double the pages. Not double the pages we got for $2.99 in 2010 anyway. Another ten years, just watch, our comics will only be ten pages.
Man bat

Call me an Edgelord but Trench/Long coats instantly improve any design
>>82390212
not only are you an Edgelord, but an Edgelord with a leather trenchcoat, a hand-sewn fedora, snake skin boots, and a walking cane with a hidden sword in it.
If you don't understand how inherently stupid it is to wear a trench coat for a character who adopts a symbolic animal persona to inspire terror distancing himself from a human... then I don't even know what to tell you appart from considering pic related
>>82392416
>a character who adopts a symbolic animal persona to inspire terror distancing himself from a human
It's not even Bruce you shitlord. I think the trenchcoat's stupid too but at least try to pretend you're not clueless.
