Everyone knows it. /b/ is shit because of all the repetition, this repetition is present legitimately everywhere on this board. From loli, to traps, to webm porn, to faces of /b/, and the list goes on. And on. And on. And on.
Even if you particularly love some of the things listed above, you cannot deny that seeing them over and over every single day ad infinitum is annoying & cancerous. So what do we need to combat this? An anti-cancer mascot. We have the YLYL banana to combat the shitty tidal wave of repetitious YLYL threads where, on a good day, you might find one or two pictures you haven't seen before. We have spiderman, the sound booth cringe faggot, the Banana, all this type of shit to combat singular things people dislike on this board but what we truly need is a broad mascot that will allow us to snuff out the repetition on /b/.
In this thread, we will be discussing the potential candidates for our Anti-Cancer Mascot. Before we do anything, though, we need to understand that "cancer" is inherently subjective. Just because you, or even me the faggot OP dislikes something like let's say "Faces of /b/" threads doesn't mean that "Faces of /b/" threads are a bad thing. We have to understand that no matter what this anti-cancer Mascot will be used against at least SOME of the things we enjoy. Your job is to not be so much of a faggot that you can't sacrifice one or two of your ebin "faces of /b/" threads for the good of the entire board.
tl;dr Lets take some initiative to actually do something for our own good this time.
Another thing, if you anons think it would be more efficient, we can just say fuck the whole mascot thing and simply begin flooding cancerous threads with gore.
It'd be less effective due to the fact that some people wouldn't be inclined to saving copious amounts of gore, but, it would definitely be a way to say fuck off to the newfags.
