I installed the SSD on my laptop with Windows10, start up/general performance etc improved a lot but the last week or so the whole laptop sort of freezes with any kind of hard disk activity. I.e. I open File explorer, it gets the waiting icon for a few seconds before responding, I download a file/trying to save a file in notepad, whatever, save file as dialog comes up but I get the waiting cursor for 5-10 seconds before it responds. No malware or anything, can't find anything abnormal in task manager/disk performance. Any tips?
