I think one flaw /a/ has in judging anime studios is there lack of attention to some of the actual staff for studios.
For example Kyoani's works for Free, Chuu2, and Amagi Brilliant all have a different director and writer.
Judging studios for there works is a terrible method because the overall feel can vary tremendously depending on the main staff which is different series by series. It just gives people the wrong idea to the point they start worshiping a studio like a brand name instead of the varying individuals who put out different qualities of works.

Hey there. Dumping a comedic fantasy. The scanlations are mediocre, and the group doesn't allow this to be posted on Batoto, etc., so I'm wondering how many have read it. I wouldn't mind rescanning this series.
>An enjoyable 1988 manga. It's basically Slayers, if Lina had rolled melee instead of caster. This manga follows the adventures of a group of mercenaries: barbarian Moka (the main character), rogue Blueman, and mage Kirinman. Moka and her gang belong to a dark mercenary guild. Moka, being a barbarian, has great physical strength and, of course, she has no brain. Despite her very revealing suit, she is very innocent, pure and naive. The story starts when a white master seeks to hire some mercenaries, and the guild refuses to help him since he has no money with him. So the dark guild master sends Moka, Bluman, and Kirinman to aid him. It's really not a great start but this is how everything begins. The author's drawing dramatically improves after volume 5. The plot becomes much more refined as well. It can be considered a typical adventure story. However, this manga goes a little deeper than that. After volume 10 or so, the plot becomes really profound and deep. Dragons are involved, and whole nations go to war. The scale becomes quite large.

We've gotten four episodes. That's roughly 80 minutes, or a minimum of 80 pages according to the 1 page = 1 minute screenwriting rule. By comparison, the screenplay for The Dark Knight is 167 pages long and the screenplay for Inception is 147 pages long.
1) Describe the premise/setup for this show.
2) Describe everything you know about the characters that you think is important.
3) Describe the story/the dramatic journey the characters have gone on so far. Things like major emotional moments or internal conflict, belief-system's being challenged, relationships developing or changing, etc.
Please post your answers before reading others'. The point of this is to see the differences in viewers' perceptions.
This is a sincere academic exercise. Please keep trolling to a minimum.
If it matters to anyone, I enjoyed Turn-A Gundam well enough, but I have not enjoyed G-Reco so far.
