So for starters, I recently learned about g-anime and what Toei do for some artists to be able to express themselves with more freedom in shorts like pic related.
What do you think of this (already old) initiative?
Is g-anime the convention those L'Animation indépendante japonaise shorts come from?
I've only seen a few but most I didn't find terribly interesting. Midoriko had a great art style and was absolutely fucking weird, so it was probably my favorite.

Is there much of a difference? Same story, same writer. I cant see why anyone would feel the need to change much between the two, plenty of darker anime/manga were hit films.
