The part with Reina blowing that shit girl the fuck out was the best part. Even someone who doesn't know shit about music could tell who did it better.

In Jojo usually it's really arrogant, lower tier foes that do that shit. They're usually batshitcrazy too.
I remember the mandom and civil war fights in part 7 did this because they were looking for a fair duel that they could say they overcame without an excuse. They of course lost but not because of exposing their power.
In Bleach the villains explain their powers all the time because the good guys are too stupid to actually figure it out so there needs to be some way to tell the audience what is going on or the 12 year olds will be confused.

Why are japanese voice actors so fucking shit at speaking english? I've been two Japan twice and, sure a lot of them werent good at speaking english by far, but most of them were still okay.
You'd think that a voice actor would just rehearse the lines so many times that it would actually sound somewhat okay, even if it isnt their native language.

From what I've heard Japanese are taught English with only the sounds used in Japanese. If they used actual correct pronounciation Japs wouldn't be able to understand them at all.
It's not their fault. They teach them the basics of english pronunciation wrong since school, pronouncing english words that end in consonant is too hard for them.

I was a huge anime fan back in the late 1980s, early 1990s, and just decided to check it out again recently.
What the fuck happened?
It got 10000000x times better gramps.
Nothing. 80s and 90s anime were just as souless, appealed to the masses and conformed to the aesthetics of the time. Nothing about this has changed, Japan just likes different things now. Anime is an industry, there is no integrity beyond smaller studios that air stuff at 2am.
Same with US films, star wars and jaws singlehandedly killed an entire medium.
