Just finished watching this one, and while utterly senseless and batshit crazy at times i really enjoyed it, as it really turned Crowning Moment of Awesome up to 12, which made me overlook the shallowness of other aspects.

What's the appeal of mechs? I've watched Eva, FMP, KoS, and a little bit of TTGL but can't find enjoyment in watching two robots fling themselves at each other.The choreography of fights are usually garbage and look clunky, enemies tapping into each other's comms to talk about their day in the middle of a battle is just fucking stupid, using your emotions to boost the power of mechs is the cheesiest shit I've ever seen, and the designs of these things look like they're meant to appeal eight-year-old kids who piss themselves in excitement at the sight of something shiny. Explain yourselves, fags.
