Finished this one yesterday and im still traumatized by that ending, it ruined the manga for the most part and i cant look at it with the same eyes anymore. Is this the same feeling Mass Effect fans felt when they saw ME3 ending? Because now i understand completely.

I don't see this ending as awful since it is from Nihei. Mediocre maybe.
Trust us, that it's one of the better endings he has done.
But hope to god Sidonia just goes fuck it, takes his stuff and goes anime original plot 'inspired', since the raw material has always been good.
Anyone want to consider how else it should of ended? Feels like they should of beaten End Boss Orochi to get clues on how to push back Gauna for colonization in final big battle.
Anime Hoshijiro / Bene clone deserves better, especially after that double princess carry.
