"They look strange, too. What if..." With some focus, she forced the horror's body inside out, just for a few moments. The results seemed... to really not do much to it.
And then she became curious.
She put her fingers to her mouth and called the attention of the devils with a whistle.

It's completely plausible for him to have witnessed her doing something horrible earlier than Eldritch Moon. It's a minor point, but it does help paint a more consistent picture.

Bio Differences:

These adjustments make a more fulfilling character for sure, but I would not be surprised if the character is still questioned on green values. From my own reading, the WR is obvious and works together in a way that reminds me slightly of some other characters from the texts that are written in those colors.

This is partially a consequence of the limited space in the bio field, but it's also partially my fault for not making that information a priority.
Her connection to green is far more tenuous than her connection to blue, since she's been using it for a much shorter period of time. Essentially, her green qualities come from a pursuit of knowledge that has become less purely intellectual. There is that aspect of green as a color that has to do with revelation or visions, gaining insight through unconventional means, and that's something she's 100% on-board with. Another thing about her that's green is that she does have a desire for some kind of harmony with the world around her. Whereas a purely blue character might feel more comfortable in an environment with no restrictions at all, Bavara (no doubt as a consequence of her Azorius days) hopes that through truth, she can make some form of peace with the world(s) around her. Ultimately, she wants things to be quiet. What makes that green and not white is that (also as a consequence of her Azorius days), she doesn't think that peace can come through arbitrary or artificial restrictions. She'll shoo a drunken bard out of a peaceful glade in the woods, but she won't shoo the bear out too, if you get my meaning. She won't try to make friends with it like white/green, and she might follow it to learn more about it, but she won't try to get rid of it.

Granted, I liked imagining Avacyn not as Sorin's robot but as a dutiful daughter Sorin neglected the shit out of. She was made for a purpose, and she knew that; protecting people was never a choice for her. It's simply coded into her very being. Because of this, she's able to identify with the angels, who similarly protect humans because it is their nature. But as Sigarda indicates, she could never really be one of the girls. She was above everyone, admired but not understood. Nobody but Gisela even made the effort, and the only connection she had with her creator was her directive, which meant time in the Helvault was agony for her.
By that version, I'd have imagined Avacyn would have resented Nahiri enormously. Someone Sorin visibly cared about in a way he never let on with her, and Nahiri threw it away for reasons Avacyn can't begin to understand. Nahiri, meanwhile, would think (perhaps unjustly) Avacyn represents all she was to Sorin; a so-called daughter figure that was meant to be an obedient protector, rooted in one place so Sorin could shake responsibility.
Avacyn's madness could have sprung from Nahiri projecting her own resentment and disillusionment with Sorin onto Avacyn, who is maddened by Nahiri attacking one of the only emotional weaknesses Avacyn possesses.
The dutiful daughter lashes out madly, cognizant that something is wrong but unable to fight back against her own hijacked emotions, and it's not until she sees how badly it hurts Sorin to do what must be done to stop her that she finally has proof he ever cared.
