Anyone have any ideas on how to handle the Wizard stuff in Part 2? I haven't watched but I have a strong enough idea of it to have some idea of what shit can be offered. I'm tihnking of...2-3 different ways to handle it

Now that you've made me stop and look at it, I'm got a few fairly sharp power increases fairly early on in my career. Jump 7 (LoT), Jump 15 (Forgotten Realms), and Jump 25 (Hellsing). Most of the rest have been either low power settings, or else setting where I have cared little about grabbing for more direct power.
Looking at my road map for future Jumps, I won't have another significant power increase until after Jump 50. The next 25 are all worlds I'm visiting more for fun than power.
After that though... The Dark Arc starts, where I start visiting all the worst places of the multi-verse. Probably going to have a sharp power spike during those.

Solar Children aren't really that high up from ordinary humans, anon, discounting things like Sol Trance. And, at least before Lunar Knights, things like Gun Del Sol are incredibly rare and precious (last I remember). So it makes sense from a setting standpoint that you'd need a benefactor nudge to get access to those weapons.
The entire jump is themed after spaghetti Westerns, so it mostly boils down to sun guns and things along that motif. Unless you run straight for the Eternal Pieces, surviving the setting as a mortal isn't that hard.

Going mage would mean you miss out on goesfast but get stronger magic than even people who normally specialize, but still get the equivalent of if you took the warrior origin.
Even if you take Drop In, you still get the equivalent of someone who speced for mage or warrior, but you get speed as well.
I'd suggest going mage, since you'll be a better warrior and mage simultaneously than most could hope to go for even specialized into one or the other.

They're pretty badass all things considered, especially how they can effectively land on something accelerating at them at possibly the speed of sound as a valid tactic to get in a position to fire. I'd say the better you are the better you can use it.

In Mage the Awakening I was forced to betray everything I thought was correct in order to meaningfully preserve everything I valued. Specifically I realised that because I was unable to travel into the Supernal Realms I would never be able to take the offense to the Exarchs. With mounting horror I realised their stasis was allowing the Abyss to consume the Fallen World, and to my eternal shame I used Epiphany to return to all humanity the ability to Awaken as Obrimos-and by extention the other towers-while annihilating Paradox, except my own for jump fiat reasons. Or maybe because of magical sympathy? Anyway, the sacrifice I made cost me my own ability to use MtA magic-thus any hope I could ever have of becoming an Archmaster-and one Mage-sized corporeal portion of my soul was burned into Soulfire by the ritual's energies. I also used my other powers to rapidly accelerate and guide others into becoming Archmasters, and left the world with them beginning to construct a new tower which may have been how I came to the Fallen World in the first place.
Then in Kingdom Hearts I became a Nobody because I needed something, ANYYHING to distract me from my disillusion and I really wanted to study creatures that don't exist.
And uh.
Turns out being a hollow husk of yourself right after you've been racking yourself with self-loathing is a terrible idea, because then I ceased to be a hivemind.
And now I'm just...not sure what to do anymore. I'm in a cosmic mid-life crisis.
