Jumpers!
What crazy persons decided that they could take you on?
What persons decided to take you on and then it turns out they actually could?
A reminder that posting combos and builds will result in Jumpmakers nerfing your shit.
Surprise Motherfuckers.
I WAS DEAD BY DAYLIGHT ANON ALL ALONG! MWAHAHAHA! I WAS ACTUALLY GIVING PSG UPDATES ALL ALONG!

You glorious motherfucker. To this we get a surprise like this.
Specifically, this SHOULD be the new Bravely Default PDF and if it's not that would mean it's the old one.
Everyone like Patissiers, right?
reposting since that was at the end of a shitstorm
Anyone have any ideas on how to handle the Wizard stuff in Part 2? I haven't watched but I have a strong enough idea of it to have some idea of what shit can be offered. I'm tihnking of...2-3 different ways to handle it
>Every origin is capable of dipping into it via their capstones or other perks, perhaps one origin has crafting stuff from the magic stones while another is adept at using the resultant rings or has a bound Inner Phantom
>make "Gate" a capstone booster/perk, maybe 400 CP, it gives you the potential to become a Wizard or Phantom right out of the gate(albeit with a weak baseline phantom that needs some CP investment to be really good) with some of the baseline abilities as such AND improving the capstones of the origins(the AND is important, the perk alone is meant to let you access Mana and magic, it just has the side effect of improving capstones to do stuff like Crafting Magic Stones or whatnot)
>Make it so that the Astroswitch/Wizard stuff is evenly divided between Origins, like Gentaro/Haruto's perkline(The Good Samaritan of this jump) would actually be more about strength of spirit, will and helping others with the capstone being overcoming your inner phantom and whatnot while Kengo's perkline would be maybe about working with and improving/tweaking technology as well as the switches with Core Child stuff being maybe a Capstone...
No idea where to go with this, I'm leaning slightly towards the second option with Gate being its own thing that can be taken alongside the other perks but isn't tied to an origin of its own
Of course as someone mentioned to me having to take a 400 cp brick of a perk to use the abilities of one series in the jump when the other half of the jump is tied to just having certain gear options seems a bit dumb
So
Opinions, honestly.

I'm apparently entering this world years before my species even exists so... lots of time to set myself up as "one of the good ones"? Or really just take control of my tribe before it even gets a chance to form and stop them from joining the villains. I'm also a little tempted to try feeding my Zerg some chi, but it apparently weakens an animal and might lead them to develop pesky free will, so I'll hold off for now.

I think I like the gate idea too? Im not really a jump maker and id have to see it in context with everything else in order to see how it vibes, y'know?
>>47998466
Cool.
>>47998468
Isn't Wizard supposed to suck?
Ahem.
I'm starting on Arsenal in Boktai today. I've decided that since the setting is already fairly low power, any upgrades bought with points are already upgraded to their level 3 options. Most things you don't buy can later be found or forged.
My question is, do you all want specific melee weapons or just a Sol De Vice to charge ones you already own? On that note, do yall want to import melee weapons into Gun Del Sol devices for a transforming gunsword?
On that note, should Arsenal be free for Solar Children or all mortal origins across the board?
>>47998510
I was thinking more pic related.

>>47998552

How hardcore is the [Labyrinth of Chaos] drawback in Dragon's Crown? Is it worth the +600 if you are 10 jumps in?
>>47998552
Only Solar Children.
>>47998466
Just a reminder, when you make the Battleborn jump you need to put in a drawback where Overwatch comes over to beat you up and steal your lunch money every now and again.Seriously though, this looks fun and I'm looking forward to the jumps you're working on.
>>47998466

You know, I'm generally a big fan of imposing order on chaos in the name of Heaven. So this is, in many ways, the worst gig I've ever worked.
The opposition is the rule-obsessed crowd here. Honestly I'm probably going to get along just fine with them so well, I'm going to job every single fight we have during their magic dick hell release plan juuuust subtley enough they'll have time to get away. And then we can have tea and crumpets when we're off the clock.
My sisters, on the other hand, are incompetant and frankly the hugest slut. Why. Why are you such a slut, Panty. You know what, no. You two are going straight to impromptu angel boot camp to learn how to properly angel again. No sweets or hot dickings until you get straightened out.
And I'm just fine and dandy, because I have a hula-scythe with conceptual powers over the afterlife! So I'm just racking in Heaven coins over here by hoovering up the local poltergeists, doing my job like the RESPONSIBLE older brother I am. How do you earn these after the jump anyway?
And somehow, all the insanity that is the canon show will pale compared to what is yet to come. Of course, it wouldn't be something completely crazy like the blatant shout-outs finally validated in a crossover with TTGL itself right?
...
...dear mom in heaven, please let me be right. I really don't have time for this spiral drill shit right now.
>>47998957
At this point?
Prototype.
I went there jump 10. Up until that point I had visited a bunch of low power settings, mostly the detective/crime jumps, to boost my INT and memory.
One minute I'm a basically normal, if uncommonly smart, dude. The next I'm chucking sedans half a football field and leaping over apartment buildings, while trying to duck and dodge the gatling and missile fire from the Black Hawks overhead.
Bit of a shock, to say the least.
>>47998647
By weapon class, you mean like ranged or melee?
>>47998957
Now that you've made me stop and look at it, I'm got a few fairly sharp power increases fairly early on in my career. Jump 7 (LoT), Jump 15 (Forgotten Realms), and Jump 25 (Hellsing). Most of the rest have been either low power settings, or else setting where I have cared little about grabbing for more direct power.
Looking at my road map for future Jumps, I won't have another significant power increase until after Jump 50. The next 25 are all worlds I'm visiting more for fun than power.
After that though... The Dark Arc starts, where I start visiting all the worst places of the multi-verse. Probably going to have a sharp power spike during those.

I've...never really thought about it, to be honest. I'm genuinely not sure, it really depends on how you define weak and "growth spurt" since some of those took a while to get going. You can't just improv a Darkhallow, after all.
>>47998859
Alpha Centauri, Lord of Light and Evangelion all have good stuff. Red Alert offers some substantial offense capability, at the cost of some trauma.
>>47999147
Thanks. Working on PSO, then. Looking forward to PSU.
>>47999176
PSO. I'm considering tapping PSO2 for the purposes of mag feeding (that is, feeding weapons/armor as well), but beyond that I'm not touching it.
Also, just learned PSO2 has an anime earlier today. What in the actual fuck?
>>47999230
How far in are you?It doesn't get better.
>>47998808
Both requires you to bring Garterbelt with you too since he comes with the angels.
>>47999190
Um, by "monster" do you mean anything big and ugly and attacking the nearest population of sentient lifeforms or things like the ghosts in the show?
Do the coins just end up in your warehouse or show up where you lived? Or are they stored somewhere else? Or do they just kinda spring from your enemies' fallen corpses?
>>47999161
Will do. There will be some melee options, though I'm torn between 'Sol De Vice you can use to charge mostly-ordinary weapons' and 'specialized solar weapons'. I'll have to mull on that. I'm open to suggestions on that department.
>>47999179
>>47999197
Fair point. It'll still be cheap to access for other mortals just to avoid it skewing too hard in one direction, but I'll go with this unless it becomes a 'straw on the camel's back' in terms of point tax later on.
>>47999254
I just stumbled onto it when I was looking up some PSO Episode 2 stuff. Saw they were in a school setting, figured somebody mislabeled it or something. Intro rolls around and there's a fucking FONewm. Noped out immediately, because that shit does not jive.
>>47999303And the worst part is the MC gets drafted to save the game by the student council president of, wait for it, Seiga Academy. The school's shown from above in Episode 1, and there's a Sonic head as a symbol in the middle of the campus.AND there's a PSO2 NPC who's come to life.
>>47999302
How will you balance mortals in that case? If they can just as easily render Solar children void.
Should I go Drop In or Mage in Overlord? Either way, I'm taking Level 100 + Realm of Heroes with Unified Focus, but I want to know what I'm missing out on either way.
>>47999265
It would be too easy if you didn't have to put effort into getting them. They spring out of their corpses. It's not hard to find them though, since they're basically bounties the coins spring outwards in your general direction.
>>47999229
You're the Jumpmaker Pet, of course you get away with half of your bullshit. Anybody else tries to get close and suddenly it's Nerf Central.
>>47999340
Solar Children aren't really that high up from ordinary humans, anon, discounting things like Sol Trance. And, at least before Lunar Knights, things like Gun Del Sol are incredibly rare and precious (last I remember). So it makes sense from a setting standpoint that you'd need a benefactor nudge to get access to those weapons.
The entire jump is themed after spaghetti Westerns, so it mostly boils down to sun guns and things along that motif. Unless you run straight for the Eternal Pieces, surviving the setting as a mortal isn't that hard.
The gap isn't really that big, basically.
>>47999360
Do you want speed or magic? It is as simple as that.

>>47999412
What I mean is, the point of a Solar Child is to be using that gun. As a mortal, if you can just as easily get and afford that gun along with your own perks, aren't you just going to end up superior to a Solar Child?

And for clarity, Solar Children are very much mortal as well. I meant it when I said they're not very far up from ordinary humans. The difference is pretty slight.

My brother of African descent.
Going mage would mean you miss out on goesfast but get stronger magic than even people who normally specialize, but still get the equivalent of if you took the warrior origin.
Even if you take Drop In, you still get the equivalent of someone who speced for mage or warrior, but you get speed as well.
I'd suggest going mage, since you'll be a better warrior and mage simultaneously than most could hope to go for even specialized into one or the other.

>Earthly Keeper/Maiden: Caretaking, making Solar Trees
>Solar Smith: Being old, making Arsenal from scratch and Solar Batteries.
I mean, I can post the WIP again, but I thought it was pretty clear? From a gameplay standpoint, if I barred off Arsenal from the other origins, they'd have a lot less content compared to Solar Children and Immortals having Monstrous Powers (and Hybrids who get a half of both). I wouldn't have much to fill the gap with, either, and I'd be increasingly reliant on OC content.

Do Angels and Demons get discounts on the perks in the Angels and Demons box in addition to the discounts on the separate boxes for Angels and Demons? I was just a bit confused because it referred to Angels and Demons getting their 200 CP perk free in the second section, which made me wonder if they got discounts on the previous section.
Wait, I just realized that might not be clear, let me give an example: I know Angel gets a discount on Spirit of Anarchy, but does Angel also get a discount on Hybrid?
Combat Training can be used as a non-Angel/Demon origin if you have superhuman physical ability from another jump, correct? How much would you need?

They're pretty badass all things considered, especially how they can effectively land on something accelerating at them at possibly the speed of sound as a valid tactic to get in a position to fire. I'd say the better you are the better you can use it.
>>47999948
In Mage the Awakening I was forced to betray everything I thought was correct in order to meaningfully preserve everything I valued. Specifically I realised that because I was unable to travel into the Supernal Realms I would never be able to take the offense to the Exarchs. With mounting horror I realised their stasis was allowing the Abyss to consume the Fallen World, and to my eternal shame I used Epiphany to return to all humanity the ability to Awaken as Obrimos-and by extention the other towers-while annihilating Paradox, except my own for jump fiat reasons. Or maybe because of magical sympathy? Anyway, the sacrifice I made cost me my own ability to use MtA magic-thus any hope I could ever have of becoming an Archmaster-and one Mage-sized corporeal portion of my soul was burned into Soulfire by the ritual's energies. I also used my other powers to rapidly accelerate and guide others into becoming Archmasters, and left the world with them beginning to construct a new tower which may have been how I came to the Fallen World in the first place.
Then in Kingdom Hearts I became a Nobody because I needed something, ANYYHING to distract me from my disillusion and I really wanted to study creatures that don't exist.
And uh.
Turns out being a hollow husk of yourself right after you've been racking yourself with self-loathing is a terrible idea, because then I ceased to be a hivemind.
And now I'm just...not sure what to do anymore. I'm in a cosmic mid-life crisis.
But what happened in Innstrad and Last Exile have recently made me angry enough to work towards figuring something out.

So, in the LoT clarification document, it says that all abilities that rely on things working out of the 40k "dimension" do not ork for the duration of the jump.
It also says that perks, skills, and abilities from outside of the jump are stripped away, but you retain your skills and memories. So, what about skills and memories gained through perks, like if I gained grandmastery of Sambo or something through buying a perk? Do I still retain that? Because it seems kind of... borderline.

You'll retain any skills you actually backed up with real practice. If you relied entirely on the perk for your mastery of it, it's gone, but if you put any work into developing your skill on top of what the perk gives you you'll retain it.

That's actually a thing. The Bekenstein Bound, defined by the maximum possible entropy of a given volume. It's approximately (2.577E43)(mR) bits, where m is mass and R is the radius of the spherical volume it exists in. They derived it from the equations Go over that and your program collapses physics, which is why everyone in the field of computational theory very much hopes it's impossible to go over that.
>>48002329
But where do you draw the line? Practice? Combat Experience?
Like, I understand that various fiction lets you be skilled to a ridiculous extent, but there isn't much further to go than Grandmastery.
And that's not even getting into Jumper status -- the line between perk and practice is quite blurry for someone who both works and has stuff handed to them.
>>47986497
I didn't think the original was worth the CP.
The idea behind Mook is that in a world of fireball punch wizards, you have to be an actual ninja, relying on stealth and trickery to accomplish what would be easy for Naruto's brand of "ninja".
>>48002320
You fool.
You know not what powers you toy with in these lands.
>>48002402
Excuse me, left a bit out. Meant to say that it's derived from the equations for black hole entropy.
>>48002329
No, that's not how it works. Perks grant you knowledge of how a skill works, but losing a perk doesn't erase that knowledge from your brain. You're just as skilled the moment you lose a perk as you are the moment before you lose it.

>>48002420
Except they can all just detect you with ninja magic or destroy everything for huge distances rendering stealth pointless. And a lot of them will just be so tough as to completely ignore any attack you do anyway. Please consider making it just seal out of jump powers, which is still plenty worth 600cp as opposed to what it was originally.
>>48002413
practice should do it.
>>48002429
See, I disagree on that. I think, given the wide range of possible neurological structures a jumper could have, that skill perks only make sense if you assume that they're an external module added on to you. And that when reverting to a real, normal, human brain again, you're only going to keep what you bothered to transfer to your brain.
>>48002420
>Only now responds to the argument
>Only responds to a single post, not even really responding to that post either, just using it to say why he did so over a day later
Great, another jump maker who ignores everyone who posts to him. Why do we have to have cancer like you here?
>>48002420
The problem now is that the replacement is way too harsh compared with the other drawbacks. Taking it blocks off several drawbacks that are worth 700-1000 cp and only limit your usage of chakra, while Mook outright bans you from using chakra and your out of jump abilities and your warehouse for 600 cp. It should be worth at least 1200 cp measured against other drawbacks in the jump.
>>48002429
Sure, but you're stuck with a normal human brain again. Without the perk backing your knowledge up, you have to deal with the limited storage capacity and plasticity of a human brain. You're going to lose a lot.
>>48002468
That makes no sense at all. Nothing indicates or even suggests they're external to you. In fact, given that you get discounts for skills that match your origin, the more rational explanation is that you learned to use them as part of your background.
>>48002397
You mean from My Little Sister Can't be This Cute?
>>48002507
Firstly, that doesn't explain skill perks available to drop-ins. Secondly, given that post-jump you can toggle at will the effects a background has to your personality, the "external module" explanation fits pretty damn well. It makes sense, how many lives worth of experience can you store in a human mind before there's overflow? Most people can't even store a single life worth of experience in there without leaking, let alone dozens.

2. Isn't >>48002451 basically correct in his assessment? Realistically speaking, Batman Mode would never work in a setting full of superpowered people. It's a drawback that no one will take. And it's incredibly harsh for the cp it does give.
In all honesty I still think splitting it is the best way to go about it. Others have done it in the past, I'm sure.
Please consider this.
>>48002483
You're not helping.
>>48002505
Skill memory is kept better than ordinary memory, especially when the perks were keeping it fresh until a moment ago. So you'd probably lose most of your memories, but maintain most of your skills.
>>48002560
They should still be possible without relegating you to hiding in a cave somewhere, which is what this one essentially does. That or living quietly as a civilian somewhere. You're certainly never going to be an active ninja with it.
>>48002585
That's true of +300 drawbacks. +600 drawbacks were, early on, jokes, and later on, stuff that meant you were retarded to take them.
>>48002566
>You're not helping
Don't pretend you don't agree with him, though. Jumpmakers are only worthwhile when they do whatever you want them to.
>>48002566
Splitting it does see the best way forward. Or boosting the gainz. I mean, you don't have to fight the world's greatest threats, but the difficulty of the drawback doesn't seem to give you much when compared to other options.
>>48002544
I'm not sure. it's the one with a girl asking her older babysitter(?) to marry her now that she's older.
>>48002567
I still think you're going to retain it a lot better if you actually practiced it. Build some procedural memory, get those neural pathways conditioned on your own instead of relying on artificial incubation.
>>48002606

>>48002607
> I mean, you don't have to fight the world's greatest threats
You're missing the point. With the drawback, you cannot even fight a group of genin without a crazy amount of planning or them acting truly stupid. A single jounin is basically going to be invincible to you with the drawback.
>>48002560
Not... really related at all to the issue, but I like the idea of an "Actual Goddamn Ninja" drawback that powers you down to Body Mod and seals your big flashy superpowers, but lets you retain all of your mental enhancements and skill.

>>48002632
Technically you could probably figure out how to make a gun. I mean, if you've gotten to Naruto, you probably know at least that much.
>>48002653
that's not genuinely painful, that's certain inevitable death.
>>48002653
This, holy shit.
I mean, if you wana be able to stack consequences-free drawbacks indefinitely go look at those jumps that one guy from SB posted here.
>>48002655
Are there any good reasons why it wouldn't shoot through the ship? The GBE shoots through things way more bullshit than the average spaceship.
>>48002653
Do you even think before you post? Honestly curious. All you seem to do is decide what you want a person to have said and respond to that, rather then someone's actual posts.
There is a difference between worthy amounts of difficulty and being a near total non entity in the jump.
>>48002668
Why would a gun do anything when the average ninja can move faster then the eye can see and they only get faster from there? Not to mention that a ninja could easily beat you up, take it and then all have guns of their own.
>>48002655
I haven't read that far into Gantz, but I'm guessing the answer is still "fuck it right up". It would have to be a ridiculously durable ship for "fuck it right up" to ever not be the result of a full-powered GBE shot.
>>48002669
You could quit and get a real job.
>>48002669
That's what drawbacks with a big payout are meant to do. They're not supposed to just hand you points in exchange for something that's arguably less traumatic and dangerous than another drawback that costs 100 CP less.
>>48002560
I get what you're saying. But foremost among jumps is that they be balanced internally, and right now that drawback is disproportionately more harsh than everything else for what it gives you. I'd suggest either boosting the points it gives you or just make it take away out of jump abilities.
>>48002684
No, fuck you. People do not want consequence free drawbacks you fucking moron. They want drawbacks to be survivable without forcing you to hide in a cave and thus be boring.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0verLM5ejNE
>>48002787

To punish the greedy. A drawback should never, ever be worth the points it gives you. It should always hurt worse than what you're getting. Drawbacks are temporary, perks are forever.
>>48002781
>What is Red and Smug Duck
>>48002787
You seem to be conflating "not even supposed to take them" with "not supposed to want to take drwabacks" and only the latter is my key point. Drawbacks should cost you dearly scaling with their CP value, and I consider the proposed change to be an adequate cost in proportion to the scope of the drawback's payout. That's all there is to it.
>>48002781
I'd like to add, 600 CP drawbacks should, in some way, scale to the power of the jumper. Generally by nerfing the jumper, but sometimes by using the jumper's own power against him, or increasing the level of the jumper's opponents.
At least, that's how I view them. They should NEVER be easy, even for someone with hundreds of jumps under their belt.
>>48002794
>Madara Uchiha
Gosh, it's not like the guy's plan is full of a thousand holes and that he needs to rely on other, much weaker people to revive him, since he's dead otherwise. Or that he's in any way near the strongest person in the series or that he's nowhere near his full power without aforementioned holey plan being completed.
>>48002807
Or maybe someone can accomplish that without raw power? I know the concept of people not just caring for power is hard to understand, but it does actually happen.

>>48002834
Oh look. A double whammy of ignoring what people post and putting words in their mouth for them. I hear that nets you the high score anon.
>>48002857
What's the longest you've gone without getting off?
>>48002781
I really hate to break this to you. But the vast majority of drawbacks in Naruto don't fit into that mold.
>>48002726
>I was aiming for that.
Nigga why didn't you say that shit in the first place?
You mean it just blocks SUPERPOWERS?
Because the thing says 'supernatural abilities' or something along those lines, and I always assume that that means ALL PERKS, not just flight and superspeed and super vision and magic and shit.
>>48002726
If that is what you are aiming for, you should probably change the wording of the Drawback to say something like
>For bonus pain, your non-mental out of jump abilities and you warehouse have also been sealed.
>>48002864
And even the jumpmaker does it too. It's a wonder these sorts of people even have the braincells to breathe considering how ignorant they're being. I wonder how long before they realise people aren't actually wanting the drawback to be fun or easy. Anyone want to bet?
>>48002883
Well, then that's unfortunate, and needs to be fixed. Drawbacks, even 100 Cap drawbacks, should never be worth the points.
>>48002846
You still have to use your knowledge, skill and wit to figure out how to thwart said plan, at least one of those weaker people is a reality warping hate-fueled ninja prodigy and the setting is chock-full of people who hate each other which you have to navigate. You're not even wrong in that first sentence, but just successfully intervening without being killed/sealed off is way harder than you're implying it is.
>Or that he's in any way near the strongest person in the series or that he's nowhere near his full power without aforementioned holey plan being completed

That's my line. You don't care about anything but getting your way, which is more, more, more. No out-of-jump powers is generally worth +300 CP, so demanding 600 for it in a setting where 600 CP can buy all kinds of crazy bullshit is so ridiculous I can't even take you seriously.

Woah, there's no need to change it. If you're point was to lock everything but INT and gadgets, then you should just reword it so people understand that's what you mean.
There's no reason to mechanically change how the drawback works.
>>48003233
>>48003241
>>48003249
Stop feeding it. It's the shit-eating shitposter.
You know, the one trying to destroy /jc/?
>>48003327
Wouldn't know. If only a master like you could show me how. Oh wait, you already did.
>>48003329
No, this is just who we are now.
>>48003293
Credit where its due, that's allegedly NOT the stance of some of the people ive been arguing with who want to be able to be entertaining. I still think they're shitheels for dragging out such a minor thing into a major shitstorm and for not being capable of constructive criticism.
>>48003305
Isn't that what everyone's been doing for the past few threads shitting on jumpmakers?
>>48003310 has the right idea, thread is absolutely worthless. I'm surprised jumpmakers don't just direct deposit to drive by now, there's nothing for them here but hate and disgust if you don't make everything easy mode with one "real" path to power.Of course, going any other path or assuming other paths exist is just a lie, because jumps are worthless without easy power paths to cater to the "right" way to play.
>>48003321
SCP probably has the best one, it makes you completely immune to forgetting, even through things like brain damage, drugs, or magic.
Also Great Detective has one that lets you replay memories like a holodeck.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpWmlRNfLck
So Jumper, how do your companions usually react to drawbacks? Do they relish the challenge, or are the constantly alarmed at how far you are willing to go for power?
>>48003346
Even now, there is hope.
The shit-eater could die.
The middle schoolers could get grounded.
People could get a brain parasite that makes capable of constructive criticism instead of spouting vitriol constantly.
You just have toBELIEVE IT!
>>48003373
Or waifus if panty and stocking is any indiation
>>48003329
It still proposes a far harsher penalty on the jumper than several drawbacks it locks them out of for less cp. It's unbalanced in the context of the actual jump, not compared to other jumps' 600 cp drawbacks. Isn't that supposed to be more important?
>>48003409
Why do you even bother? No one will read your argument, at best they'll make something up and respond to that instead.
>>48003389
>implying most of these jumpers haven't mindraped their companions to be totally loyal and suck their dick every morning before putting on suicide vests on demand
>>48003237
It's gonna give more than 600 cp at the end. I haven't decided how much though.
But the difficulty I'm aiming for is "Technically possible, but holy shit this is so hard, how the hell am I going to pull this off?"
>>48003210
Have you read or watched Naruto mah shitposter? And if you have, did you ever think anything along the lines of, "Wow that's brilliant! I doubt surpassing such genius is possible!"
There were some clever bits, but nothing outlandishly brilliant. At the end of the day, it's difficult to write a character as far more intelligent than yourself. Kishimoto didn't manage it.
>>48003399
Waifus are the most important thing in any jump, this nonsensical discussion about non waifu/husbando related nonsense is baffling to me.

>Oh come on, it's not that bad

>>48003423
Because I have to believe that this thread hasn't completely gone to shit. Good jumps still get made, and people are still chill, in between being relentlessly angry and bitter.
>>48003409
Uh, well, yeah, I guess.
I was talking more about the meat of the drawback rather than the actual price of it. It should go up some.
>>48003423
Could you fucking not? What you're doing is the equivalent of shitting in the street.
>>48003431
>It's gonna give more than 600 cp at the end. I haven't decided how much though.
Oh, good. You are going to write in how the mental perks are unaffected, right? I cannot impress upon you how important that piece of information is.
>>48003399
>Or waifus if panty and stocking is any indiation
Naw, we're not CYOA gen levels yet.Not until we get anons screaming about cucking canon characters for multiple threads.
People were doing good about not feeding it then he switched to attacking everyone else and y'all turned into lemmings again.
>>48003478
You really think this is all just one person?
>>48003431
I remember Shikamaru's "genius plan" for dealing with Hidan. It was painful to watch. Dude, you've got Shadow Binding and Hyuuga friends. Grab Hidan, walk him over to Neji or Hinata, have them paralyze him. Don't do this mess with extracting blood from Kakuzu so you can skillfully dodge Hidan's swipe while applying the blood to his blade so he thinks it's yours, and then ironically kills his friend while you take advantage of him being busy to tie him up with explosive tags. That's unnecessarily complicated. I know you're nursing a grudge over Asuma, but come on, dude. You can kill him ironically once you've secured him properly and removed him as a threat.
>>48003501
Reminder that Intelligence and Wisdom are two different Stats for a reason.
Shikamaru has INT, not much WIS
>>48003501
That's the sort of thing I'm talking about.
That would've been a pretty boring watch though it would've been effective.
>>48003489
Hell yes it is. I know your strategy of phoneposting and spending literally all your time hammering on the reply button ASAP, then when people start to get sick of you? "Waah the thread is shit! If it wasn't, how could he dismiss and ignore any arguments against his views?
>>48003430
...wait, I can do that?
Well why didn't I think of that BEFORE they backstabbed me and joined up with the Sith?

I for one like to have hope that people treat their ties to being a person rather than a collection of perks in a way that does not involve raping their minds. Anyways,
>>48003389

>>48003553
I remember last time people were calling you out. You posted this same image, and when a mod came by and banned you? It mysteriously disappeared.
>>48003561
>So little at stake
So why have you argued against changing it so hard?
>>48003431
Honestly you could just split it, and have each worth 400-600 cp. The real issue with that drawback is that there are a shit ton of other drawbacks that also restrict your powers and taken together are worth far more points while being way less debilitating. No Chakra Coils had the exact same issue, the update just made it worse.
Would you rather be Gundam, or would you rather be Groot

Gundam.

Then again, I envy you. That's a hell of a self-esteem to think some mystery anon is making a huge conspiracy and is out to get you all the time.
Was gonna post some jumps in July. Think it's a good idea to wait until Mid-August when college starts? Or maybe September if he's underage?
>>48003567
Don't know what to tell you bud, that was the first time I've ever posted that image.
But if blaming all the thread's problems on my really makes you feel better, go right on ahead.
>>48003582
If you take a drawback that affects the world, it's still going to be unpleasant for them. Not to mention no respawns is a relatively popular house rule.
>>48003576
I agree. That's why I'm boosting the bonus CP.
I love how defensive he gets when people point out it's him. He knows that makes it obvious, right?

>>48003610
Honestly you're both morons and it feels like he doesn't need to do anything.
I bet you'd even accuse a jumpmaker of being the fabled Lord Shitposter.
>>48003582
There are quite a few drawbacks that will make your companion's lives hell without killing them. Check out the Eldar jump for particularly vicious examples of this.
>>48003582
I always hate to think this way because just because they can respawn doesn't mean they should disregard their lives but this is just me.
>>48003630

The anons want to pretend their little shitflinging didn't exist, so they acted cute and purposefully mislabled it.
You know, so they can keep doing their "not all anons" act of shifting the blame so they can pretend they don't shit on this place at all.
>>48003582
Oh, sweet summer child.
You don't even know how many ways someone can be made to suffer before they die, do you?
>>48003430
But that would be a waste of CP, if you're going to shell out points for them you might as well get more mileage than you can from an onahold with arms and legs. Any decent biologist could do that with far less effort.
Also I know this is going to blow some minds here, but I actually do care about mine. To a crippling degree. You have no idea what kind of workarounds I've had to come up with in the past just because apparently so-called "crimes against humanity" offend someone.
>>48003664
I guess you're the first.

>>48003664
oh christ that's a new low, even for this place.
>>48003703
>You don't even know how many ways someone can be made to suffer before they die, do you?
From what I remember dead companions forget the week in which they die. Unless that's been phased out by now.
An Actual Ninja (+1000 CP): You are not able to use chakra or chakra based techniques. Taking this will render you completely unable to use any ninja technique or bloodline-limit. How did you even become a ninja in the first place? Expect your peers and enemies both to look down on you for your inability to use the ninja arts. You must spend all your time in this world as an active ninja, disbarring temporary medical issues For bonus pain, all of your other supernatural abilities and your warehouse have also been sealed. This can’t be taken with Sealed Bloodline, Malformed Chakra Coils, Pinprick Reserves, or Out of Control.
What do you all think? Too little/much CP?
>>48003389
there's a lot of 'are you fucking serious' going on. But my companions respawn, so i just shoot them.
>>48003723
I have no strong feelings on this one way or the other.
>>48003723

>>48003716
It's different for people some people say they forgot others say they remember everything, and some say that don't remember the last 5 seconds.
>>48003723
Actually with stats like that you'd probably be regulated to mostly D-Rank missions.
I don't really care either way.

>>48003736
Why would you soot them!?!?
>>48003723
Is anyone even going to take this?
>>48003713
No, if you look in last thread they were actively talking about it. It's a fair assumption that it was deliberate.
>>48003714
Yep.
Welcome to jumpchain, where as long as you scream and shout enough you can do whatever you want to anything you want.
>>48003716
I'm...not actually sure about that! Huh. I've always focused on going to extreme lengths to making sure they never have to use the respawn mechanic, so I've legit forgotten some of the finer details
Though what I'm more hinting at is there are ways to torture, demean, traumatise, terrorise, violate, mutilate and generally ruin people that can last longer than a week.
>>48003723
I think it's fine, for what that's worth at this point.
>>48003723
Maybe a bonus for the madman whose going to take this at the same time as MC-Kun/Chan?
Because that would be a frightening endeavor akin to suicide.
>>48003716
>Thinking people can't be take years to die if you use healing magic, force feeding, and creativity.

>>48003769

Why can't we just let this stupidity die and talk about something that is actually interesting? Like waifus or settings that we would like to see made into jumps. . .
>>48003723
Sounds like a good fit points to drawback. No way in hell I'd take it, tempting as the points might be. Seems like a good fit.
>>48003753
>he posts while anon
So, are you a hypocrite or just a coward as well?
>>48003723
Probably too little? Honestly man, balancing the amount the drawback awards you against the drawbacks it blocks off is kind of an issue. But, eh. Might be close enough. Honestly I feel like you'd be better just scrapping it entirely and doing a 300-600ish drawback that takes your out of setting powers only. Since then you wouldn't have to worry about other chakra effecting drawbacks.
>>48003783
It is what it is.Not like anyone enforces it, anyway.
>>48003723
What's the point of asking if the price fits when the drawback is so bad no one will take it anyway?
>>48003770
No point in doing that, it is an auto die choice if they take both.
>>48003787
Here's a question. Assuming all waifus are equally shit, which one is the least shit?
>>48003723
I can dig it. 1000CP is a lot though. Perhaps drop it down to 800CP?

It doesn't preclude mental perks, does it?
>>48003787
Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai Deeper Kyo.
>>48003783
I remember being told that too, ages ago. Apparently there's something about jumpchain that makes it easy to overlook and/or permissable, although I forgot the exact reason why. At any rate, I've never been banned for it although I only do it jumpchain, and I know a few other people do it too.
>>48003787
I'd like to see an Unknown Armies jump, but a lot of people would say it's a trap jump and I wouldn't even disagree.
I'd still want to jump it though.
>>48003799
I don't think there's perks for that, anon.
>>48003750
Yeah, I'll need to clarify you're still going to be doing the dangerous shit.
>>48003857
Not if they're not supernatural. Being even technically within human limits is fine. Brainiac's intellect would get nerfed for example.
Seems like most agree with this incarnation, So I'll go with it.
>>48003889
>Makes it even more dangerous
Again, who is going to take this? More importantly, who can even take this without being shut down in threat because everyone thinks they should have died?Dunno why I even expect anything but shitposting in response

Would Naruto's plot armor be able to make MC-Kun viable? Naruto can still have his plot armor, so there is a chance.
>>48003952
It'd almost be mandatory in Kenshin.
>>48003947
Pretty neat urban fantasy/horror RPG. Goes for a rather visceral feel, there's pretty much no nice form of magic in the setting. I mean, you can do nice things with it, but the caster themselves is going to be all sorts of fucked up as a person.

Your life is almost certainly going to be very brief. I'd recommend resolving the plot with meta knowledge asap.

I've been hoping to get some feedback on how to handle Wizard, but Kamen Rider's semi-obscure of a franchise despite how hard I work to fix that every bit i can
Otherwise...
Anyone have any ideas for Fight for the Future?
I might get to work on it, the jump is meant to be a post apocalyptic romp(ideas include night of the living Dopants, Mad Max with Gaia Memories, and a LOT of the planet was rendered into cell medals by 5 Mega Greeed out of control, only defeated with massive sacrifices made by the would-be heroes of the world and thee Kougami foundation)
So far I'm thinking of things like being able to render people into transferable data memories or being able to plant a Mako Generator-like device to produce Gaia Memories en masse at the cost of destroying knowledge and possibly even destroying the world slowly the more of these devices are on a planet
Memory Gadget Terminators would also be considered(maybe as enemies as well, artificial Kamen Riders created to fight hte dopants and gone rogue...Roidmudes intensify)
Still, it's basically the counterpart to Return of the Mad King's being a kamen rider take on arthurian fantasy
the counterpart being in this case post-apocalyptic cyberpunk/sci fi
seems like it'll be fun and I think Gaia memories could stand to be buffed a BIT, if only cause I think Medal builds got a massive boon from Return of the Mad King
>>48004057
Do it anon. I believe in you.
>>48004046
I certainly tried. I goaded her a little bit hoping to get her to make the shift from House Elf Rights (which they don't want) to House Elf Welfare (which all but the most broken would appreciate), so she could advocate for laws to make sure you treated them to a minimum of wellness, instead of trying to wrench them out of lives they enjoy.
>>48004057
Resolve the plot early and convince the MCs to make non asinine decisions.
>>48004008
Getting people to believe you will be difficult, but doable.
>>48004026

>>48004090
That sounds accurate.
>>48004104
I know, it was hilarious. They didn't know what to do with themselves. They wound up mugging Wizards in Knockturn Alley and washing all their clothes for them.
>>48004104
I wonder what you would need to have people view slavery the same way house elves do. . . for purely academic reasons of course. . .
>>48004096
That seems like a waste of money, seeing as they would probably end up going back to their masters. Out of curiosity, how did you convince everyone to sell you their house elves? Or did you just purchase any that were on sale?
>>48004128
Mindrape from D&D would probably help. Sorry that I can't be more help.
>>48004026
How about Sinanju and Deja-Fu? Reduced to a 'reasonable levels?
>>48004119
Oh, Lancer level of screwed over, that's harsh, but still survivable. Not by me as it is but maybe after my next few jumps, planning to nab a few more martial arts if the above didn't tip you off.
>>48004128
Rewrite their limbic systems so they get pleasure from doing chores?
>>48004119
>That sounds accurate.
Hm. Can you go missing-nin? Is there a way to fail out of the team? Sasuke would want to get you out of his way, so the best way to avoid that would be to get out of his way first. Failing out of the team seems to be precluded by the drawback, which leaves missing-nin. That itself is really risky because you're going to have konoha-nin coming after you HARD, but it's technically survivable with enough intelligence and the right body mod.
>>48003750
>Actually with stats like that you'd probably be regulated to mostly D-Rank missions.
>>48003889
>Yeah, I'll need to clarify you're still going to be doing the dangerous shit.
... How? The people who hand out missions are not going to give even a C rank missions, let alone a B or A, to someone with no chakra at all. Not unless they WANT you to die horribly. And well, if so, you're dead. No ifs, ands or buts. GG, no rez.
>>48004144
Oh, there are a couple of perks that make it so that if you're buying, people are selling. So I just did that for House Elves. As for returning to their former masters, I made it clear to them that there would be consequences if they did that.
>>48004162
Don't the hidden villages have missing nin hunters?
>>48004170
Those consequences probably wouldn't matter to them even if they involved death.
>>48004163
Rock Lee?
>>48004144
Do the D&D jumps allow for homebrew spells?
>>48004147
Deja-fu probably wouldn't work at all. Sinaju would help you be peak human physically, and you'd have some irregularly hard fingernails.
>>48004162
Not if you take MC-kun. You have to resolve the plot favorably, and ditching both of them would guarantee their death.
>>48004163
They won't assign you missions where you absolutely have to fight at least. The full version is in the pdf.

Well, at least I'm qualified to teach. Even if I can't use supernatural abilities to demonstrate, I'm certain I'll be able to teach these kids SOMETHING useful.
>Gift of the Twilight Imperium (400)
I'm... not actually sure if this would be active, considering supernatural power is sealed, but this would actively BLOCK it from reaching me. Is a lack of the supernatural, in itself, supernatural?
>Gift of the Thousand Master (0, Mage)
Hooray, the magic I can't use is now exponentially more powerful!
So sleepwalking .. well, as long as I don't fall asleep at my desk or something, should be fine. Which means that'll happen once every couple months. Debt? Well, I'm in debt to the headmaster, seeing as I kind of needed a job, so I'll be doing my utmost to teach well. No ducking out of repsonsibilities. Sealed, on the other hand... that's... that's a mistake to take as a Mage. Crap, no wonder I had to owe the headmaster a personal favor to be hired here.
But if less-supernatural perks are still active... well, I'm not going to be too concerned about sciencing my way back into the warehouse, but it means I can still swiftly teach the students here other subjects that don't involve magic. Like mathematics, history, philosophy, ethics... especially ethics.
By god, I WILL be the man who teaches responsibility in an anime.

Well, first you'd need a populace incapable of believing itself to be competent, and inherently guided to seek the orders of others.
They'd need to grow despondent without being told what to do, incapable of making their own decisions without fear of being "wrong."
They'd need to feel safe and validated in servitude, as opposed to oppressed. Freedom and choice would be confusing to them at best, terrifying at worst. Freedom of choice paralyzes them with indecision. When you can do anything you want, how can you choose? What if you make the wrong choice? How do you avoid regret?
They'd need to take pleasure in making the ones they serve happy, and see themselves as undeserving of making the choices their masters do.There are people out there already who are like this. I fear them, for fear that I may one day find them in the mirror.
>>48004179
The consequences weren't for them, it was for their masters. You know, lots of torture and murder. Their loyalty therefore caused them to stay away. It was hilarious.
>>48004063
Japan and Asia are just an ocean of medals.
North America has been overtaken by artificial robotic riders gone rogue, which have banded together into a single artificial pseudo-Gaean Entity that desires all of the world's knowledge, and has designed machines which directly extract information from the planet to refine into Gaia Memories which are then implanted into its core (and since they're a hivemind and REASONS the mechanical life forms can all use this to become Riders.
There is a small resistance of humans that manipulate the remaining Dopants in order to fight back, and maybe, just maybe, create a Rider to turn the tide of the war.
Australia and New Zealand are completely controlled by Dark Riders- evil-doers who stole the belts of those who died to save the world and now rule what remains there with an iron fist. Only a lone superhuman warrior who in times of stress manifests strange high-frequency claws can stand up and fight for justice in these lands.
Meanwhile, in Europe, Dopants have overrun civilization and the only thing that matters is how many Memories ya got. In this hopeless land, the meek try to hide in the shadows, while the brave try to end the lives of the monsters ruling in the day in order to claim their power to protect the defenseless- unaware of what will happen to them if they succeed.god this is awful

Rock Lee was able to use Taijutsu ninja techniques. I assume that you're even weaker than him.
>>48004184
Rock Lee can use Chakra techniques. You can't.

The rule is specifically about using an avatar, as in the one unchanging pic. ASA does use the same character, but he changes the pic involved each time, so it doesn't (quite) count.
>>48004209
Ok I have to admit that this is both plausible and funny, well done.
>>48004198
Cool. As an additional benefit can Kaguya not go Pissy Boss Mode on your poor ass. You don't have what she's after, or do we?
>>48004206
So find a submissive, figure out what makes them tick, apply it to others with mind control powers, and use jumper charisma to make myself seem like the ideal master.

If you don't take MC she won't. If you do I recommend not letting the plot get that far. I have difficulty imaging it ending well for you.

>>48004209
So you kept track of each and every one, making sure that none of them found new masters, possibly fleeing other countries to find new masters, or work for conjured currency that will disappear?
Are there any perks out there that would allow you to omit material components to spells? I am not talking about things like feats from D&D I mean a perk that would work in all manner of magic systems.
>>48003983
Hi, I was the one of the ones that was so salty to you yesterday in thread 919. Sorry. The "An Actual Ninja" drawback is a much better than "Mook" was. Thank you!
I did not bring it up earlier because I did not see it earlier. I was ruder then I needed to be because I do not like updates that are mainly nerfs, especially at such a later date.
This drawback I can see being theoretically taken. No Supernatural Powers versus No Perks makes it possibly survivable. It could POSSIBLY be done if you had enough Batman style perks. Another option would be if you have been helping your companions grow enough that they can keep you alive in a 10 year long escort mission (In which case they might start calling you "Princess" and never let you live it down.)
Any chance for any Drawbacks along the lines of >>47986640 ?

No! That's impossible! You're not me, you're not me!

Of the Top of my head the best one is the Ring of Elu World Item in Overlord. Once a day cast any spell without consuming any components, including esoteric stuff like Exp, your soul, life force and stuff. Really good if you have made a spell to take some of your metaphysical essence to condense/shove into a exp orb/materia/exphere/philosophers soul. Or a Wish type spell. You can basically create from nothing with it.
Not sure for vanilla all the time spellcasting.

Really? Because that sounds really tedious. You would be watching hundreds to thousands of elves, everyday in hope that you'll have the chance to torment them a little bit more. How long did you spend, watching the things doing nothing? Did you just have nothing to do during that Jump? How did you even handle the logistics of watching that many elves 24/7? Did you take Queen Administrator in Worm, have a companion take biosculptor, and create enough relay bugs to cover all of the UK? Did you have an AI with the ability to see everything everywhere Monitor them for you? All I'm saying that it's a lot of time, resources, and effort for no gain.

>>48004454
The AI thing. I had already put it in place to monitor the wizards, because they are a silly folk and can not be trusted to not accidentally kill everyone by mistake. It wasn't too difficult to extend it to the elves, the focus was still mainly on their masters, after all. Just had to watch to see if they went near them. So it really didn't cost me much additional effort on top of what I was already doing. And I did get gain out of it, seeing Hermone's face when I told her that I had done what she wanted and the elves hated it was hilarious. It was all worth it, for that moment when she saw their little tent cities and the squalor they were living in now that they were free. "You did this, Granger! Metaphorically, obviously, I'm not trying to pass blame! But this is the logical endpoint of your ideals, and so you have some responsibility for it!" I really need to get less pedantic in my evil gloating.

You actually didn't have to pay to start in Konoha. If your bloodline is associated with a village you can start in it for free. So being a Senju means you've got an extra 50CP to use there.

Moon Bunny space alien comes to the planet, sees that everyone is killing each other, and wants there to be peace, so she eats a magical god fruit and basically turns into a goddess. Her plan works. But then she gets all paranoid and traps people in dreams while she turns them into plant people soldiers. Her half-human sons don't like this, and seal her away.
Oldest brother gives all humans magic chakra so people can all be empaths and starts teaching this hippie religion. But he starts favoring his own younger son and some evil shadow thing his mom made before she got sealed starts convincing his older son to lash out. So those two sons weaponize chakra into ninjutsu to kill each other, and so do all the humans, starting to call themselves ninjas instead of wizards for some bizarre reason.
Anyway, they do this for a thousand years or something like that, I dunno. Then a bunch of irrelevant shit happens, and the space alien gets out, only for the reincarnation of her grandsons to get over their hatred of each other to seal her again. Some more irrelevant shit happens. Some more moon bunny space aliens arrive, they want to eat the planet. the grandsons and one of their kids manage to stop these moon bunnies too. The end.
>>48004866
...huh, forgot, cheers mate!
Dropping Hunted Drawback.
>>48004871
...This is why I hate shounen.
>>48004871
You know, the story sounds so much more coherent when you frame it like that. Maybe if the bunny goddess thing had been around from the beginning the plot would have been better.
>>48004887
I think Kaguya would have been an okay villainess if she had proper foreshadowing.
>>48004891
I agree. She isn't bad innately, she just comes out of nowhere at the end.
>>48004887
Oh please, this is hardly unique to the shonen genre. Plot holes and shit storytelling are universal.
>>48004871
Oh also, the descendent of the younger of the first set of brothers (so moon bunny's sons) tries to crash the moon into the planet because he thinks humans sucks, and also he kidnaps and tries to marry/mind control/probably then rape one of the grandsons' waifu. So after a bunch of irrelevant stuff the ghost of the younger brother helps waifu destroy a magic eyeball orb and grandson beats up the descendent who then goes back to the human to cry and probably masturbate forever alone.
>>48004962
>human
Moon. Moons aren't humans, moons are moon bunny corpses.
>>48004969
The moon isn't her corpse. Her corpse is inside the moon, which was made with Chibaku Tensei.
>>48004996
I know. It's a simplification, done for the purpose of making this condensed and easy to understand without going into all the particulars and stupid shit that happens.
>>48004962
Also if you're wondering why there's only one person on the moon now? >>48004969
They all killed each other in some stupid war, which is ironic, because the war was between two sides of the family, one that was peaceful and one that thought humans should die because they always killed each other. As you can see, it's absolutely hilarious that these assholes were the ones responsible for killing off their own people with a stupid war.
>>48005002
But it's wrong. It's fine if you're simplifying things, but you still have to be saying things that are actually true, otherwise you're only ensuring that people come away misunderstanding what you tried to make easy to understand.
>>48005016
I don't think any significant effect will come about from them equating the moon with her corpse and not her corpse + a bunch of rock bunched up around it by a sealing technique. Cool your narutism.
>>48005025
How about thinking that when she gets brought back, they're facing a moon sized opponent rather then a person sized one? Besides, you actually spent more effort to paint it as something it's not with your post here >>48004969 for some weird reason.
>>48005046
To be fair, they would initially be fighting a mountain sized opponent in the Ten Tails.
How hard would it be to kill Moon Bunny Chan anyway, would head destruction be enough?
>>48005116
Country to Continent buster with justu that can enslave the entire planet in a permanent dream, also she can travel to other dimensions.
Her ultimate attack which drew from her own chakra and that of all the people captured by the above jutsu could, as claimed by Black Zetsu, destroy then remake an entire plane (this was one of her realms and not the original world iirc, but we don't know if it's the same size or not, but still)
>>48005128
>>48003142
Just make your clothes from your skin. It's how shapeshifters like the martians do. You could brush against their shirt and you just touched a bunch of scrote skin.
>>48005126
Yes but would she survive having her head blown apart, I am planning on using a GBE so fuck her durability.
>>48005134
Yeah but then I wouldn't be able to get the benefits of wearing top-tier enchanted gear.
>>48005137
There are a few ninja that can survive being decapitated. We really have no idea if Kaguya can or not. Nobody ever tries. I think it's telling that both her sons and (the reincarnations of) her grandsons all decided that she couldn't be killed and that sealing her away was the only solution.
>>48005142
Isn't there a perk that lets you absorb clothing or enchantments?
>>48005137
Probably. Ten-Tails Jinchuriki Madara can, and he's got only a tiny fraction of her powers.
>>48005158
There's one in Claymore but it only works on a single item, so the most I'd be able to do is absorb my pants
>>48005160
I think most of his regen is from Hashirama's cells (Wood Release is more amazing than people realize). Not that Kaguya doesn't necessarily have that power too, though we never see her use it except as the Ten Tails. It could be that she just never felt the need to use it.
Though, we DO know that when she lost an arm she quickly regrew it, so she has bullshit regen herself.
>>48005137
She regenerated limbs easily enough but we really don't know. She claimed to be immortal though and other ninja survive head destruction so it is reasonable to assume she can.
Also, she can dimensionbunnyhop instantly so you want something that has no charge time.
>>48005148
>>48005160
Well shit, I will need a new plan. Perhaps therapy no jutsu and jumper charisma could let me defeat her without killing her. Kaguya wouldn't make an awful waifu. . . by Naruto standards anyway. . .
>>48005202
Just let Nards and Saucy seal her in a new moon in one of her private dimensions.
>>48005188
A method of stopping her dimension hopping will be needed, are there any methods for that other than D&D magic or the Fairy Tail S class magic?
>>48005188
Her dimension hopping is at least stated to start taxing even her to be fair, Black Zetsu points out it's eating into her chakra to keep spamming it.
>>48005210
Not really. Just pick up an arcane class in a DnD jump and learn Dimensional Anchor.
>>48005232
How strong is Dimensional Anchor anyway in comparison to other D&D spells? The way I hear other people talk about it here it sounds on par with Miracle it what it can bind.
>>48003951
I think a mod deleted the entire convo. I don't begrudge 'em honestly, the shitposter's gone too so I think it's safe to say he's banned for a while again.
>>48003947
To expand on >>48004005, all magic ultimately comes from consensus reality which means crazy people can actually do...weird things, within reason of course. In fact, it's explicitly said there's nothing beyond the planet, and all the weirdness ultimately comes from humans. Demons are just angry ghosts, there's a lot of supernatural creatures born from intense emotions like sexual violence and the godlike but distant Invisible Clergy are composed of people who ascend as new Archetypes-very influential stereotypes of how humans are.
Well, maybe except for the Cruel Ones. Nobody knows much about them, but the one ritual that directly calls upon them smacks of biblical angel wrath.
>>48005300
Dimensional Anchor is pretty absolute for what it does, they don't even get a save. It's only Level 4, surprisingly. You need to hit them with a ranged touch attack, though.
There's a Level 8 version called Dimensional Lock that doesn't need you to touch anyone. However, the downside with that one is that it's only within a set area, meaning someone zipping around like Kaguya could easily just move out of range then shift.
