They always hand me their money before the item their buying, which doesn't work since I need to scan their shit first. 50% of the time their money is just crumpled and wadded up in their pocket. They just dump it on the counter and want me to figure it out for them. Also, 50% of the time they say they don't want their change, showing more responsibility in finances. I don't get it. No one gets fucking mad when Bollywood casts Assassin's Creed with an all East-Indian cast.
No one got upset when L and Watari (who were both canonically English) were cast as Japanese in the Death Note movies.
Everyone knows the Fullmetal Alchemist movie is going to be nothing but Japanese actors, even though it takes place in what is essentially a divergent timeline in fucking GERMANY.
Both Boys Over Flowers, and Great Teacher Onizuka were adapted by multiple cultures, ranging from Korean, East-Indian, Philippine, Taiwanese etc etc. And no one fucking complained when the casts of those shows were completely re-imagined for the countries they would be airing in.
Why is everyone so obsessed with this garbage in America? Studios are going to pick actors that related to the largest number of people, to increase the demographic reach of the movie.
