Alright.
While I am positive that ninety percent of the population here already knows about such a thing, unusual as it may seem.
For those who are knowledgeable of the various rolling stock of the Pennsylvania Railroad, the T1's were their last steam locomotives built and the most controversial. They were ambitious, technologically sophisticated, powerful, fast, and distinctively streamlined by Raymond Loewy.
As some have stated, the locomotive is claimed to be capable to run at speeds over 140mph, (225 km/h) almost two times that of the record set...

Didn't a bunch of Britsharias already do this with one of their beloved locos?
>>955316
They did.
The LNER Peppercorn Class A1 60163 Tornado, the first mainline steam locomotive built in the United Kingdom since 1960.
>>955321
That's the one.
Well, as for OP, I think it'd be based if they pull this off, but desu I'd rather see them rebuild one of the F-7 Hudsons.
Ain't even Milwaukee Road autist.
dis bike good starter?

I want to buy pic related for about 90$
What do you guys think? I'd definitely give the frame some work but everything else works perfectly.
>fixie
>>958837
It can be a single speed... with hub brake.
>>958837
Are you suggesting he should get a fixie instead of pic related?
>he has a short stem
lmao how does it feel to have a tiny ass microstem
tiny stems are trending
deal with it
>>951210
can't even satisfy the road with that tiny thing. I bet she laughs behind your back and tells all the other roads about your microstem
Hello everybody,
I have found this bike relatively cheaply but i found this over the bottom bracket.
Is it cracked, or just the paint.
Thank you.
>>958784
What bike has smooth welds but comes with a shitty stamped steel front derailer?
>>958788
a Merida?
so i get it's not a common practice to have a clamped front derailleur, on a carbon frame
Could you send me a copy of this fabled SI brochure i've heard so much about?
The complete brochure (incorporating both French and English texts) is available at the following URL:

Thanks.
real SI brochur fag died a while ago when he crashed his electric recumbent off a curb into a mailbox
SI brochure fagging is just a meme now
>MFW I need to strip down/clean, replace consumables, regrease/rebuild everything on my bike because it's been an embarrassingly long time since it's been done, but I'm too lazy
Give me motivation guys.
Cheaper than buying a new bike.
>>958561
You're a fag
>>958563
:3
I'm starting to look for a new nicer bike this year with a 1000-1700 euro price range. What should I look?, high end alu with high specs (ultegra), or low end with lower specs (tiagra and maybe 105)?.

Caad 12
old ten speed

cannondale 3.0 or 2.8 w/ cantilevered dropouts; build up to suit
Well, it's officially over 70 degrees here and bicycling season has returned. Looks like I'll be on /n/ for another summer. Can't wait to share the next few months with you, rebuilding my muscle mass enough to cruise at 15mph again, making it up that hill and fantasizing about what it would be like to do a group ride.
I'm all stocked up on bananas. Are you ready /n/?
70 is a little fucking chilly, bro. At least here where it matters.
If you're talking commie temps, you're on fucking fire.
>>957716
Are you fucking kidding me, bro? That's pussy talk there. For me, anything above 55 degrees is comfy temperatures, and anything bellow 45 is a no go.
>>957717
Hahahahahahahahha
Former chicago food delivery
Anything north of -10 hailstorm and i ride naked
If it drops to -20 i reluctantly wear underarmor for the warm up. Only shorts tho
Dont wanna be a fair weather faggot
How bad a stuff up is this "cycleway".
Ostensibly NZ's first Copenhagen-style cycle lane.
Resident groups are up in arms about it - something about wanting their ridiculously wide road back for comfy driving.

>How bad a stuff up is this "cycleway".
It's safer for low-speed cycling.
I ride in them all the time and car doors and pedestrians are much worse because they never look before stepping or dooring into it.
So it's hard to race down it but if you're just going 10kmh or something then I guess it's probably preferable.
there isn't even any fucking people in NZ, how can they bitch about cycle lanes. Does traffic even EXIST in that forgotten strip of land?
>>957703
>"Copenhagen-style cycle lane"
Not grade separated
rate my new biking aesthetic, /n/

Do you guys cycle for recreation or transportation?
I have bikes for both.

>>957218
the problem is it's still a bus. They need to incorporate the freedom of car travel and health benefits of the spinning bus into a privately owned vehicle that's powered by the user.
How about just riding a bicycle
>>957222
>riding a bicycle in London
Not everyone is suicidal m8
As a truck driver who keeps a bike on board, I am always biking around unfamiliar cities and towns.
What do you guys use for navigation?
>>956907
I generally consult google maps on my computer before I ride somewhere new, then use that info to make a cue sheet that I can consult while riding, or I just draw myself a very simple map with important streets and landmarks.
HERE maps offline
I usually just pick a direction and peek at google maps every few miles to try and make a big circle.
If I've got a real destination, I'll write the turns and distances on a post it note and tape it to the handlebar.
What was this guy's problem?
CAN'T STOP
DON'T WANT TAH
>>952207
His gf was fucking the black guy behind his back.
She couldn't stop craving his thick black tires and all those gear inches.
>>952207
those type of helmets look so uncomfortable...do downtubers wear them because they think they look less dorky?
