The new interiors look like something you'd find used as propaganda in a communist shit hole like Belarus or the DPRK. "New" veneer on something that is obviously still old and shitty. Hi /m/. Normalfag here. I have been told for the type of riding I'm doing, my equipment is not as gratifying as it could be to ride. I use a MTB from Academy Sports that I got as a gift last Christmas. I've been riding MTB on the road for four years. I've joined cycling groups and can keep up fine, but apparently the bike is keeping me back. It's dual suspension.
Anywho, what is the best first road bike for me? Tell me what I want. I prefer the look of classic racing frames, if that matters

So found this thing at goodwill for $20 honestly had no idea what it was googled it and found out only ~500 were made. Picked it up cuz i just wanted to have a special snowflake bike plus figured it was better than muh fixie lyfe.
had everything stock from its 1989 creation tires were dry rotted and it had a nice layer of dirt!
its got 26" wheels and pretty much fell to the wayside when 700cc took over as more popular wheel

goddamn im jelly, regardless of how many were made thats just a neat looking bike. The only thrift store around here that regularly has bikes doesnt have room inside for them so they just sit out in the elements all the time. I did get a nice, old, cruiser style bike from the Goodwill though, still working on getting it fixed up though.

Why do you want to make your bike weigh 100 pounds? You'll have to carry heavy speakers and a heavy battery to run all that stuff. Just get a bluetooth speaker that fits in your bottlecage and that recharges via USB, and that weighs less than a pound.

So I broke my bike by breaking and accelerating on it at the same time. Now the wheel is all wobbly and the bar that I circled in pic, which used to be attached to frame where arrow is pointing came off and is all bent now.
