I'd tell you ALL about misery and sadness, but neither of us have that kind of time! :p
And it looks like I won't be telling you ANYTHING about misery and sadness, because you actually receive a good reading!
First, the hexagram for "Creative Activity":
Heaven above and Heaven below:
Heaven in constant motion. With the strength of the dragon, the Superior Person steels himself for ceaseless activity.
Productive Activity.
Potent Influence.
Sublime Success if you keep to your course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
The time for action has come. You now have the focus and the stamina necessary for accomplishing great tasks. The path before you is being cleared and reward lies ahead.
CONSIDER:
The dragon rises high for all to see.
He has become the mentor he always longed to find.
Then, the hexagram for "The Cauldron":
Fire rises hot and bright from the Wood beneath the sacrificial cauldron:
The Superior Person positions himself correctly within the flow of Cosmic forces.
Supreme Accomplishment.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Your needs are coming into harmony with the requirements of the Cosmos. Blending brilliantly with the Dance of Life, you are becoming an actual element of Cosmic Law. Your goals will now be realized because you no longer cut against the Cosmic grain; you are no longer swimming against the flow of the Tao. You are acquiring an intuitive sense of what can and cannot be, and aligning your efforts accordingly.

The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Return":
Thunder regenerates deep within Earth's womb:
Sage rulers recognized that the end of Earth's seasonal cycle was also the starting point of a new year and a time for dormancy. They closed the passes at the Solstice to enforce a rest from commerce and activity. The ruler himself did not travel.
You have passed this way before but you are not regressing. This is progress, for the cycle now repeats itself, and this time you are aware that it truly is a cycle. The return of old familiars is welcome. You can be as sure of this cycle as you are that seven days bring the start of a new week. Use this dormancy phase to plan which direction you will grow.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
You are about to experience a rebirth -- about to be given another chance, a new lease on life. You have persevered, gone the distance through an entire cycle -- through the Spring of hope or new passion, through a Summer of growth and building, only to be sacrificed like the archetypal Harvest King at the Autumn reaping. You lie dormant like seed beneath Winter snows now, healing and absorbing new energies in preparation for the new young Spring coming shortly to your life.
CONSIDER:
Watch out for bears.
To them, you are spaghetti dinner.
Then, the hexagram for "Expansion":
Whirlwinds and Thunder:
When the Superior Person encounters saintly behavior, he adopts it; when he encounters a fault within, he transforms it.
Progress in every endeavor.
You may cross to the far shore.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Get ready to ride a tide of accelerated growth toward self-actualization. A joyful awareness of the best within you, coupled with an acceptance of your Shadow, will provide a greater repertoire, a much bolder vision, and new depth and clarity that will compel you to expand your horizons.
(Continued in another post...)

From what the reading showed, I'd say first off, you are missing strength. Use the time you have on your hands in the near future to build yourself up! Gain strength and wisdom! Next, I'd say you're missing something that was in your life before that is not currently. Perhaps old activities/habits or friends/family. Reconnect with these things that made you feel more whole before! Getting in touch with your roots and then growing from there will help you to feel more fulfilled! Also, when you begin feeling up to it, seek direction / a goal to work toward for a sense of momentum (and then accomplishment!). You can begin planning any time soon! The sky's the limit! Best wishes! :)
>>17490357
Moose destroyed?! Amazing.
The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Retreat":
The tranquil Mountain towers overhead, yet remains this side of Heaven:
The Superior Person avoids the petty and superficial by keeping shallow men at a distance, not in anger but with dignity.
Such a retreat sweeps the path clear to Success.
Occupy yourself with minute detail.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Retreat in this instance is not a desperate flight in disarray, but a conscious choice to distance yourself from forces that would rob you of your peace. It is not a surrender, but a regrouping. Retreat from this conflict is actually an advance toward your own center. You move toward balance, and thus a much stronger position.
CONSIDER:
He makes a dignified retreat and retains control of the situation.
Then, the hexagram for "The Wanderer":
Fire on the Mountain, catastrophic to man, a passing annoyance to the Mountain:
The Superior Person waits for wisdom and clarity before exacting Justice, then lets no protest sway him.
Find satisfaction in small gains.
To move constantly forward is good fortune to a Wanderer.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
You are a stranger to this situation. It is your attraction to the exotic that has led you here, but you will move on to a new vista when this one has lost its mystique. Because much of this environment is foreign to you, you must exercise only the best judgement. You don't know the custom here, and it's too easy to cross a line you don't know is there. Because you are the foreigner in this setting, you have no history to acquit you. Watch, listen, study, contemplate, then step lightly but decisively on.

I say use the near future to throw yourself into self improvement or a project / a series of projects! Take care of details! Something you can be proud of and find strength/wisdom in for when the world around you becomes more harmonious to your outward endeavors! Find your balanced center. All future movement should come from your center for best results!
Also: increase your awareness. When you are not occupying yourself with taking care of details, take some moments of stillness and mindfulness of what your senses perceive around you! It is good practice for being observant and having general awareness. Additionally, you will find calmness, peace, tranquility, contentment, thoughtfulness, and insight! Calm awareness, thoughtfulness, and good judgment will be key in your future! Best wishes! :)

this might be a bit different to ask but is it possible to switch souls between "dimensions". I've became aware of a different "me", elsewhere in a different world not fit for him. much like this world isn't fit for me, if we were to cross-swap souls it would seem like a win/win for the both of us. I apologize if this sounds crazy and unbelievable, but I'm hoping if there is any slim chance if such ritual exists.

I remember before being reborn there was a powerful white flare, and I felt something was not right, soon after I felt there were two of me (possible soul split?) to describe this feeling is tough to put into words. I was born, unfortunately a part of me was left behind. I'm not sure what happened to it after that (I assume it was born else where, as i often had dreams where they feel too real to be fake (the world, the people i interacted with, and the smells. they felt exactly similar to this world). I also grew up feeling sort of "half-empty",(this was before i combined with a certain "spirit" later on in my life) (this i will provide details later on if you'd like to hear that). I have acknowledged that he exists based on how he can communicate with me at times. as well as how we can seem to share "memories (not all memories just the ones we choose)" some which include people i have never made contact or seen in this world before.
The world in which that other "me" resides in is the one i wish for.
and the one I am (this one) is the one he wishes for.
In the world he is in, you can become a god through soul absorption, as that allows manipulation of reality itself. The drawback to this in that world is you can't trust anyone. the world itself is in a chaotic state as there is no "higher" power of government, there is always war. (I wish to be in this world as my dream is to become a god and that world is as close as i can get to become one).
The "me" over there had told me he wishes for a more peaceful world (basically he described this one).
Honestly I would like for us to switch places as i am not doing too well in this world and he isn't doing too well on the other world either.
sorry for the wall of text this is the first time i've ever talked to anyone who i think may have an answer.
>>17490618
It's actually not quite that simple. Divination in Islam (kihanah) is haram if it is associated with non-muslim faiths but there is a long standing tradition of several types of soothsaying and prophecy in islam to the point that it is considered ulum. The opinions on this matter vary from scholar to scholar but I believe it is generally thought that divinely inspired gifts for prophecy and soothsaying are considered acceptable. Muslims have practiced various forms of astrology (they actually contributed a great deal of knowledge to this discipline), physiognomancy, chiromancy, omens, and other methods.
I am not a muslim myself, but I know more than a little bit about the history of divination, so take my words with a grain of salt, but there is actually a historical record of many forms of divination involved with Islam being considered acceptable. Perhaps what you are feeling is a calling?
Be well.

don't even need to read for this one...
I know its a cliche quote from star wars but... youve got your eyes on the horizon when you need to be paying attention to where you are and what you are doing.
You are 18 years old, no one is expecting you to move mountains right now. This is a time for learning and appreciating where you are. Recognize that everything is as it should be right now, stop focusing on what its supposed to be in the future. Language will come, time was not wasted, you just got over-focused on where you think you should be.
Reconnect with your family, forgive yourself a bit of time for working towards your goal, focus on where you are, and relax. Recognize that you are not farther, nor not far enough on your journey, you are precisely where you should be, here, and now.
Hey everyone. Just dropping in to say hi to everyone!

Oh no! I'm sorry you're so upset and that I was away and didn't see your message sooner! I know what it's like to be upset about many things and how not fun that is. You shouldn't have to feel that way.
The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Decrease":
The stoic Mountain drains its excess waters to the Lake below:
The Superior Person curbs his anger and sheds his desires.
To be frugal and content is to possess immeasurable wealth within. Nothing of value could be refused such a person. Make a portion of each meal a share of your offering.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
This is an occasion for downsizing to fighting trim. Simplicity and economy are strong defenses against the slings and arrows of Outrageous Fortune. Whether this is a time of want or a time of plenty, it is an auspicious time to shed a dependency.
CONSIDER:
You approach with humble honesty and generosity.
This is a superior act.
Your future reading reveals a single, definitive hexagram! It is the hexagram for "Awesome Power!":
Thunder fills the Heavens with its awful roar, not out of pride, but with integrity; if it did less, it would not be Thunder:
Because of his Great Power, the Superior Person takes pains not to overstep his position, so that he will not seem intimidating or threatening to the Established Order.
Opportunity will arise along this course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
The Awesome Power available in this hexagram stems from what the Taoists call your Te, a term not perfectly translated into English. Roughly, it is your Integrity -- not in the Western sense of honor -- but more in the psychological definition of a full integration of Who You Are. This Awesome Power is achieved only by fully embracing both the good and the bad, the strong and the weak, the masculine and the feminine -- all polarities within you. Such self-knowledge spawns a Mastery tempered with the humility necessary to rein in and harness this Awesome Power.

SUMMARY:
Although you are in want, you are unburdened by these assets and are leaner / more agile for the fight at hand. Shake off your hurt/upset and desires. Attain a firm, positive, can-do attitude, and do not get discouraged. Be consistent and persistent. Determined. Unshakable. Make do with what you do have -- the resources available to you. Find worth in yourself -- not the external. Consider your wants to be the sacrifices that were necessary in the progression forward. Be generous when you can. Such nobility and internal value will become a source of wealths for a cycle of warmth, comfort, joy, opportunity...
As long as you make certain to embrace Who You Are on this journey forward, you will find opportunity and exercise Awesome Power in more harmonious times to reach what will most bring you joy in life!

I don't do past life readings, so you'll have to ask someone else here for that bit! But I can certainly do a general reading for you! I'm sorry to hear about your tinnitus, depression, and weakness. I hope you feel much better soon!
The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "The Mountain":
Above this Mountain's summit another more majestic rises:
The Superior Person is mindful to keep his thoughts in the here and now.
Stilling the sensations of the Ego, he roams his courtyard without moving a muscle, unencumbered by the fears and desires of his fellows.
This is no mistake
-
There is a higher vantage point available to you, but it is obscured by the visible peak of personal ambition. To climb to this higher plane, you must shake off the desires and fears of the conscious, visible world around you. To make this journey you must quiet the Ego, empty your mind of past and future, and dwell totally in the moment at hand. Thorough mindfulness of what is before you is the only tranquility.
Be. Here. Now.
CONSIDER:
His constant goal is an end to striving.
Good fortune.
Then, the hexagram for "Creative Activity":
Heaven above and Heaven below:
Heaven in constant motion.
With the strength of the dragon, the Superior Person steels himself for ceaseless activity
Productive Activity.
Potent Influence.
Sublime Success if you keep to your course
-
The time for action has come.
You now have the focus and the stamina necessary for accomplishing great tasks.
The path before you is being cleared and reward lies ahead
SUMMARY:
The past makes us depressed. The future makes us anxious. To live in the present moment brings us peace. Shake off your fears and desires. Still yourself and find tranquil contentment. Do not put so much pressure on yourself. Things will come in their own time as you take each step toward them. Focus on each step. You will grow in strength after each one, and you will find great satisfaction in all that you accomplish!
>>17490841
Hello! I'm glad my past reading for you was spot on! I'm sorry things haven't been going well for you lately, but I'm glad you're feeling a deep connection to ponder!
Have you read this version of the Tao Te Ching?
http://acc6.its.brooklyn.cuny.edu/~phalsall/texts/taote-v3.html
The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Recruiting Allies":
Deep Water beneath the Earth's surface:
Untapped resources are available. The Superior Person nourishes and instructs the people, building a loyal, disciplined following. Good fortune. No mistakes if you follow a course led by experience.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
You must gain support from others. Find a way to make others want to see your objectives met as badly as you want it. How can they profit from the attainment of this goal? Can you command confidence that you are just the person that can bring this plan to fruition?
CONSIDER:
It is never a mistake to retreat to a stronger position.
Then, the hexagram for "Enthusiasm":
Thunder comes resounding out of the Earth:
Similar thunder roars up from the masses when the Superior Person strikes a chord in their hearts.
Whip up enthusiasm, rally your forces, and move boldly forward.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
There is a rhythmic force, a world music, that lives deep in the Unconscious of each of us. It's a primitive drumbeat, a shaking rattle, a tribal chant that invokes the primal self to rise up and join the dance. This is the enthusiasm that is generated now. Not rhetorical persuasion, not a play on the emotions, but a charismatic, irresistible Call of the Wild. Confucius said that the person who could comprehend this could 'rule the world as though it were spinning in his hand.' This is a time for instinct, not intellect -- the Thunder from Beneath.

That's awesome! Haha! Thank you tons!
The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Durability":
Arousing Thunder and penetrating Wind. Close companions in any storm:
The Superior Person possesses a resiliency and durability that lets him remain firmly and faithfully on course.
Such constancy deserves success.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Endurance is the key to success in this situation. However, durability is not synonymous with stone-like rigidity. True resilience requires a flexibility that allows adaptation to any adverse condition, while still remaining true to the core. Can you maintain your integrity under any circumstance? Can you influence the situation without giving opposing forces anything to resist? Then you will endure to reach your goal.
CONSIDER:
One must remain constant, or the only permanence will reside in disgrace.
Then, the hexagram for "Receptive Force":
Earth above and Earth below:
The Earth contains and sustains. In this situation, the Superior Person should not take the initiative; he should follow the initiative of another. He should seek receptive allies in the southwest; he should break ties with immovable allies in the northeast.
Responsive devotion.
Receptive influence.
Sublime Success if you keep to your course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
This is a time for dealing with reality as it is, not as you would have it be. If you realize that in this situation you are the receptor, not the transmitter of the stimulus, you will find yourself reaching goals that seemed unattainable under your own steam. If you persist in futile efforts to be the Shaper rather than the Shaped, you will completely miss this unique opportunity.
>>17491057
You gave me a reading a few weeks ago and I want to thank you again. That's the most kindness anyone has shown me in a while.
I tried to follow your advice and just leave things be, and as soon as I started moving forward and putting him out of my mind and ignoring him he started to miss me and talk to me again, handing me a fresh opportunity to confuse and horrify the both of us with my renewed feelings which immediately became destructive. I'm stuck, and it's hard to be alone, but I can't attract someone new with this shitty attitude. 6 months after a breakup I shouldn't still be grieving, and continuing to make things worse. I just can't stop obsessing, and I'm scared to meet new people. I have very strange nightmares of places I've never been sometimes and recently woke up with a terrifying presence behind me. Maybe it was just from sleeping on my neck funny but I haven't felt safe in the dark since then, I can't even leave the house without a lot of hesitation and fear. There's still so much hurt. Any idea where to start healing myself?
Scorpio, F, Canada
>>17491342
>6 months after a breakup I shouldn't still be grieving
there's no time limit of grieving. it took me a year to get over a 4 month relationship, a few weeks to get over a year long relationship. try going on new dates, filling your time with hobbies, hitting the gym and just focusing on yourself. it'll get better, it always does.
>>17491323

I am not well. I've been diagnosed with depression and anxiety in the past, and lately I've been experiencing the worst period of depression of my life. I'm taking medication, but I know from past experience that, for me, a spiritual cure would be more effective than a chemical one. >>17491482
Fair enough. Do you have any advice related to empaths, or should I just start digging?
>>17491501
You'll need to learn to control yourself, especially when exposed to others pure emotions.
I'd recommend stoicism, for one. The philosophy, that is.
Secondly, meditation. You need to learn to quiet the buzzing around you. And then you can begin using such skills to help others as well as your standing among them.
>>17490314
You gave me a love reading a long time ago, and it was about the universe shifting, and that I have to not get in the way.
Well, I see how that's true now. But instead of thinking there's an army in the way of my love, and me having to move from it, I see now that the force I had to move from was myself. My strength, exhalation, expression, freedom, existence, energy, power. I had to move away from blocking these things, because omg, it's intense.
>>17491501
I'd recommend activated your inner natural power. The trick is to know that your inner power will kick in in any situation, and therefor you don't have to have doubt, fear, worry, shame, grief, about lies, about illusions, nor physical attachments. Activate this freedom, and you'll activate everything else.
>>17491514
If you want to follow grandpa here, and his old ideals, born from men who thought they had to control and limit themselves for their actions to happen (right?), then go ahead. But I think it's 0.01% the speed of my method.

>>17491342
You're very welcome! I'm glad I could be kind to you in the meantime before you begin the task of surrounding yourself with people who are kinder to you! You are awesome and deserve kindness!
I'm sorry you had such an unpleasant rehashing of things with your ex! Emotions can definitely be tricky and get the best of us with how strong they can be. I've certainly been there! Been stuck too! And I find it hard to be alone as well, so you're not alone in that! And yes, you have to be in a good place to begin a relationship, so that means getting yourself there. You must build up your strength mentally/emotionally/socially. It will take time and some effort, but you can and WILL get yourself to a good place again! Your outlook/attitude can and WILL improve if you set yourself to it, and that is the task at hand now.
What this poster said is correct:
>>17491347
There is indeed no time limit on grieving, and indeed some short relationships have long grieving periods and some long ones have short grieving periods. I've experienced them both as well, and I know how not fun the long grieving periods can be! But you can shorten it by occupying yourself with self-improvement, socializing, and doing things that you enjoy / make you happy! Treat yourself! Enjoy projects/hobbies, find new groups, meet new people, go on practice dates and maybe even some real ones!
I also know that it can be hard to stop obsessing, but keep yourself busy/occupied/distracted, and it will get easier / hurt less with more time keeping at it
Nightmares do happen sometimes! And at harder times! Don't freak out! That's just your mind gradually sorting things out! Take comfort in that! Ugh, I sleep funny on my neck too. :( Bleh! And I know it's hard, but try to stay calm and not fear / be paranoid. Remember to breathe! Nothing is out to get you! :D If the dark is still a problem, leave a light on or rock a nightlight! :D You need to find your confidence, dear. It's in there! I'm sure of it!

Thank you. I might find aspects of stoicism interesting and helpful. I can make more of an attempt to meditate, since I don't really "practice" it, I just sort of let my mind slip in and out of states throughout the day, as if I'm falling into a natural meditation. But I can see why that's unreliable for daily situations
>>17491331
Thank you for the reading, but I'm afraid I'm still pretty confused on what to do.
How can I adapt to the situation I'm in? Integrity is already gone, staying the same will just make it worse...
The second part talks about being the receptor; being passive I take it. I don't think I can remain passive, I don't have the strength to survive it any longer.
>>17491540
I see the wisdom in this, but what do I *do* to activate it? I already feel it kicking around to an extent, do I just trust it more or what?
>>17491553

I understand completely. As for the control aspect that T contested, it's for the purpose of not overwhelming you. Too much energy input and you'll burn out quick, or be confused on your own emotions. You must learn to separate the Other from the self.

Your reading first reveals the hexagram for "Conflict":
The high Heavens over a yawning Deep chasm:
An expansive void where nothing can dwell. Even though he sincerely knows he is right, the Superior Person anticipates opposition and carefully prepares for any incident.
Good fortune if your conflict results in compromise.
Misfortune if your conflict escalates to confrontation.
Seek advice.
Postpone your crossing to the far shore.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Conflict is a necessary part of life. Tension upon the strings of a violin can make majestic music. The critical mass of two hydrogen atoms trying to occupy the same space fuel the sun that nourishes our solar system. Most conflicts you face in life are the result of your Path converging with another's. Your Path is not his, and one Path is not necessarily more right than the other. Can you work together to remove the blockage?
CONSIDER:
Knowing his comrades would be annihilated against their much stronger foe, he orders a full retreat, retires into seclusion, and is condemned by the very neighbors he saved from ruin.
"Following":
Thunder beneath the Lake's surface.
The Superior Person allows himself plenty of sheltered rest and recuperation while awaiting a clear sign to follow.
Supreme success.
No mistakes if you keep to your course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Thunder from the Lake -- the lulling, rhythmic roar of the faithful tide, eternally wearing away the stone of the shoreline, forever obedient to the phases of the moon. The pull of the moon on the tide is the Following called for now. As mighty as the tide is in its own right, it is ever the puppet of the invisible, irresistible gravity of the moon. What cyclical forces pull you along? Are you futilely attempting to resist a natural attraction?

>>17491607
We'd have EVEN MORE if we didn't pack tarot, I-Ching, runes, scrying, energy readings, etc. into divination general threads! There's usually a new and an old thread... and sometimes errant and/or lingering older threads as well.
I would personally not be opposed to a divination board if it got to be THAT high-traffic.

This is one of the empaths I was referring to (before I saw his post). Please contact him using the preferred details he provided, but you are still welcome in the chat as well!
>>17491570
There really /isn't/ an overwhelming. There's more energy storage in someone than you'd think. Producing energy is what burns you out (including trying to control it), rather than having energy go through you. You will never be confused by your own emotions. You'll worry that you're confused by your own emotions. There is no need to separate yourself from others' emotions, because you'll always know which are your emotions and which aren't. People aren't that dumb.

>>17491630
I'm speaking from my own experiences; which, admittedly, may be different than others. Also, you misunderstood my point. He must learn to interpret which comes from himself and which comes from another source.
But ayyy, why bother arguing with someone who thinks everything is objectively right or wrong?
>>17491633
OH! Using different methods of "divination", such as tarot cards, scrying from a mirror, consulting the I-Ching, "readers" give readings to answer queries/questions from "querents" regarding everything from a general outlook on one's life... to glimpses at future events... to help with specific issues/problems... to advice!
>>17491642
If you are speaking from your own experiences, why bother arguing? We're obviously going to have different points of views. I'm adding to conversation in order to help the new guy. I didn't think you'd interpret this as hostile.
Interpreting what comes from you and what comes from others is as natural as separating sounds, objects in an image, etc. It may seem hard at first, but it's super easy if you just trust your own senses.
Don't assume what I think :P
>>17491657

Thank you so much!
Your reading has an interesting answer to your query!
First, the hexagram for "Enthusiasm":
CONSIDER:
His music strikes a chord and wins hearts.
His trust makes them true, and brings great success.
(Continued in another post...)
>>17491427
>>17491695
IN SUMMARY, first get excited that you'll be getting back in there! Harness confidence and enthusiasm! Then just get out there and be chill and mingle! Don't go too hard or push! But instead be open to opportunity you find around you. When you aren't expecting it, you'll find what you're looking for... if it doesn't find you first. ;)

>>17491695
>>17491707
Huh, this will be interesting, I'm normally so used to being the one to make the first move and start a relationship and keep things going strong. This might be hard to keep chill enough to just let something happen, but at the same time, I do like the idea that for once maybe someone is going to be trying for me instead of the other way around. I'm ready to be the shaped honestly. Just have to wait and see how much I need to try and how much I need to keep it easy.
Anyway! Thank you for the reading! I hate that most of the time I want a reading it has to do with love readings, but hell, most everything else I just let fall into place, that's one of the few things I want to actively know about my life. But anyway, I do hope for the best for you man, whatever happens to be going on.
>>17491711
The doubt in general shouldn't exist. Much like empathy, divination/gaining insights comes from the self, and it's the self we should be enhancing. Mostly by embracing and allowing what is naturally there; empowerment comes naturally thereafter.
Doubt blocks our will to exist. By embracing your existence fully, you release doubt blocks.

I grew up on good ol' Fred Rogers! He WAS the best, wasn't he?! Everyone should be the person he set the example to be!
I'm sorry to hear you're not well. I've struggled with depression and anxiety as well. It's certainly no walk in the park! Know that you're not alone in dealing with it and others of us know how hard it can get and wish you didn't have to feel that way also! Medication can be tricky but helpful. A spiritual cure? What inspires you? What are you passionate about (and yes, your strong ideals as well!)? Find your spiritual cure in/through these things. Take an assessment / list out what stirs good/moving/powerful feelings/joy/motivation inside you, and then do/embrace those things! And, if you can, seek out and surround yourself with people/groups who lift you up, not drag you down!
My very best, warmest wishes to you, friend!
Hold your head up!
It you try, it will get better!
I was skipped last thread. Male here, cancer, for any reader who is still around, just want to know if there is any future for my relationship.

>>17491878
T? Hehe. Are you someone I know?
Are you the same person who wanted to know why someone was hot and cold?
It seems he's distant because he enjoys the activities he does for fun. Perhaps he doesn't need someone in his life right now? It seems he likes you, and enjoys spending time with you, but he's not completely ready for a relationship. As such, you should be able to give him time. If you try to force it, you'll be in a wonky relationship, that is forced.
As to answer the question, it seems he won't for while. At the moment, at least 2 months. Unless he is super horny, or suddenly has needs (of which would be what he thinks he needs; peer pressure from friends for example).
I'm getting insights on your relationships, but it's hard to interpret.
>>17491884
I'm getting science. Math is a closer second. Art is like second bottom lol.
I'm not getting further insights on your career.
>>17491898
I'm getting a strong no, with a slight shine of yes. It seems, in some ways, you. aren't ready. If you were to ask him out, and it were to succeed, the relationship would not have much driving it. The only reason why there is a yes, is because you share a common interest, that you both really want to express. But there won't be much more than that to the relationship.
Further insights: look into cars. I have a feeling you'd be interested in how cars work, and their builds. You'd benefit from looking closer at things to figure out how they work.
Exploring your interests would offer you more depth in your relationships. You're not ready to explore raw romantic feelings.

Query: What should Reclusive Rick do next?
First, your reading reveals the hexagram for "Difficulty at the Beginning":
Thunder from the Deep:
The Superior Person carefully weaves order out of confusion.
Supreme Success if you keep to your course.
Carefully consider the first move.
Seek help.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
New ventures always pack along their inherent chaos. Though this is an annoyance at best, and can even imperil or downright doom an endeavor, it is also the friction needed to polish your project to jewel brilliance. Learn from these early obstacles.
CONSIDER:
A hunter who pursues his prey without a guide will lose his way in the deeps of the forest.
The Superior Person knows his limitations and gives up the chase.
To advance brings regret.

>>17492062
Can you tell me if i wil find love soon?

Then, the hexagram for "Attraction":
The joyous Lake is cradled by the tranquil Mountain:
The Superior Person takes great satisfaction in encouraging others along their journey. He draws them to him with his welcoming nature and genuine interest.
Supreme success.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
There is no greater natural law in the Cosmos than Attraction. From the magnetic pull of an atom's nucleus to the centrifugal force that spirals a galaxy, the face of the universe is shaped by Attraction. On a human scale, it is Attraction that fuels procreation and furthers our species. Yet it is also Attraction that spawns greed and covetousness, threatening our extinction. Attraction is the underlying force of the situation in question. You are refined or debased by the objects of your desire. What gravitational pull are you now under? Around what sphere of influence do you circle? Can you use your own ability to attract?
SUMMARY:
What you may have to do next, no matter what you do, is overcome some obstacle! You'll just have to stay headstrong. :) Since you are beginning a new venture, these things are to be expected anyway! The battle is part of the journey!
As for WHAT you should/will be doing next? Hunting for it! But you'll get lost and not find it if you don't know your way, so use the resources that are available to you, and you'll find your way! ;) Just make sure you know yourself! KNOW your strengths and weaknesses!
Then, know what attracts you. Know who attracts you! With knowledge of yourself and of the goal(s) appropriate to you, the hunt is on and the game is afoot! Either lure it to you or GO GET IT!

That's alright, some confirmation of direction is all I needed.
Could you tell me anything about my love life? There's a guy I'm interested in, am wondering if you see mutual feelings?
>>17491522
Hello again! I'm glad you found truth in the reading and in your own insights! May your growing wisdom serve you well on your path!
>>17492117
Thank you, Chironymous, it's always good to get a reading from you! I do hope whatever ails you clears up quickly and speedily!
>>17492145
You're very welcome! I'm glad my readings have served you well! Thank you so much!
>>17492077
I'm trying to follow my own philosophies, but it's harder than I thought. Doubts aren't unblocked for some reason.
Hmmm, you have a lot of things in your life managed, both consciously and intuitively. It seems you're blind to manage something to do with things that are in your immediate life, but aren't entirely close to you. You're simply hesitant. It seems you're interested in feminine energy, but something you might not know, is that this feminine energy is coming from yourself. You're more feminine than you realize. It seems you want more from your life. There's just a bit of stagnancy. If you were to open yourself up to more possibilities, things would flourish naturally. Your dog's cute. Uhhh, there's more but third eye's starting to get blocked due to social pressure. There's something nagging at you. It has elderly woman energy. It may be a local spirit, or someone physically. Something about orangish rivers. It isn't flowing in your ethereal realm as much as it should be. There may be a pleasant person giving you flowers today. Insights are getting hard to interpret. Something about a young man and a lamp. Enjoy your day :)
>>17492097
You might. I mean, there's a lot of stuff you need to work on, but finding people who mutually need the same work won't be too difficult. People with similar problems tend to draw together. However, this won't mean that you will love eachother. But anything can happen. If you want a purer form of love, I'd suggest working on yourself, and love will be drawn to you naturally.
>>17492123
Not necessarily. You're obviously too shy to pursue him or her. But it doesn't seem like the timing is right. The whole thing is sort of just for fun, so if it does happen, things would get too serious too fast. This might be something you're both aware of. If something does happen, I recommend staying friends.
>>17492133
No mutual feelings. You're strictly work friends/acquaintances. Your lofe seems it will be healthy.

>>17492187
Hey Rex.
Could you give me a love reading? Am I going to meet a Qt any time soon?
>>17492187

well it sure as hell has been difficult for me
>>17492133
He's simply not ready for such things. Your love life seems it will be healthy. It will be easy going, and active. There will be little obstacles.
>>17492139
Thank you!! I hope you find guidance as well ^_^
>>17492197
You will, but you'll be too weird for her to accept you. You see love as a warm, nice breeze in your life, and many people simply don't share the same idea. Your love life will improve if you open your mind as to the many kinds of love, and the many ways love can be.
>>17492199
You're welcome. Thanks for the recognition (and feedback)! I wouldn't be here if it weren't for a decision pending on another reader.
>>17492209
You'd be surprised. Not many people are visible with their problems.
Go right now, and share your problem with your social circle. You'd be surprised to find that people are going through the exact same thing.
>>17492157
>>17492117
hey Onymous, just a question since I dont think I've seen you mention it before, but are you adjusting your readings for your old yin and old yang outcomes?

Well i meant it as people that are potential mates
also my social circle isnt that big
>>17492230
Oh lol. You're still young (your social circle is immature), so you won't find love at the moment. Bask in the mutuality for the time being, and you'll find your time enjoyable until then :)

Query: What's going on this time? :D
Doing three (3) readings. Using either Tarot or scrying. Just tell me which of the two you want.
For Tarot I'll need:
>first name/nickname
>location (state/province)
>query
For scrying I'll need:
>first name/nickname
>tell me something you're passionate about (hobbies, subjects, ideologies, people, etc.)
>your query
I'm new so take everything I say with a grain of salt. It's good if you ask the same question to multiple readers so you'll get a more accurate answer. Please give me feedback, I want to know if I'm doing things right. First 3 people to reply get read.

She a skanky skanky stanky skank. She'll get in your pants without a second blink. If you want love, you got another thing coming. It may be too difficult to get through to her. You may want to take extra care on the things you may lose. Parts of yourself you may lose, if you were to pursue her.
>>17492279
Uhh, like you said there's a lot. As with your generation, you're focusing on the mechanical aspects of the situation, rather than the emotional ones. It seems you may be stuck on something, because there isn't enough /emotional/ flow. Seems convenient to mention one after the other. In order to do this, you may want to focus on things that have no reason, no purpose, or structure. It will bring you happiness through enlightenment.
As for what's going on, it seems there's just a bit of drama going on. It's not that big of a deal.

You may find love through the people you run into, though it may not be as pure/stable as you'd want it. If you want a pure love, find more emotional growth with people who share your problems.
>>17492361
You're kind of thinking of a different "chick" more. I do sense a virgin, but you're barely thinking of her. She doesn't have enough qualities that you find appealing.
>>17492347
I think were probably still speaking a foreign language if people dont have any experience with it.
Fun fact, African Ifa divination, using cowry shells (except they use four instead of three) is very very similar to the i ching with broken/unbroken lines, and has certain readings much like old yin or old yang in which the meaning changes. Unfortunately the interpretations of Ifa are very guarded and only taught through oral tradition.
Even they don't write most of them down and only learn the interpretations by memorizing songs containing the meaning, taught from the master to the student over many generations. There are hundreds and hundreds of possibilities though, just like the book of change.
There is a simpler form of Ifa which uses the coins/shells for a gradient of Very yes/yes/probably yes/unknown/probably no/no/definitely no and dont ask again its bad luck
Just interesting that they both developed such a similar system of mathematical divination based on solid lines, closed lines, and the fall of a coin/shell, apparently independently.

Out of curiosity, are you an angry person? I feel like that's something hindering you in the love department.

>>17492391
Very cool about Ifa!
If I recall correctly, I-Ching came along as a more formalized system for divination than the even older method of reading bones (which I'd LOVE to learn how you do!). I love that they tried to formalize I-Ching in logic based on concepts pertaining to elements, frigging BINARY (2 to the 6th power = 64 hexagrams (or 8x8)) permutations of broken/unbroken no/yes 0/1 yin/yang lines, and a sort of "best out of 3" coin tosses for generating each of the definitive/changing lines of the initial hexagram (and I have no effing idea how yarrow stalks work).
The huge number of unique readings from the permutations/combinations in systems like tarot, I-Ching, and Ifa is indeed astounding!
Meanwhile, you make the simpler form of Ifa sound like a Magic 8-Ball. ;)
The independent development of Ifa and I-Ching and their similar approaches and results are definitely interesting!
Thanks for schooling me! :)
>>17492448
I should have figured they said no considering i got 4 of pentacles..
>>17492373
>You're kind of thinking of a different "chick" more.

Thank you!
>Crude sense of humor
We ARE on 4chan! ;p
I'm sorry you're stressed! Try to keep a calm, cool, confidence, and remember to breathe. ;)
The first part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Inner Truth":
The gentle Wind ripples the Lake's surface:
The Superior Person finds common ground between points of contention, wearing away rigid perspectives that would lead to fatal error.
Pigs AND fishes!
You may cross to the far shore.
Great fortune if you stay on course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
The subject of this hexagram discovers a key to Tranquility by first gaining insight into his own nature, then turning that vision outward. By resolving inner conflicts and being at peace with himself, he learns to gain insight into others. In effect, he enters another, sees with the other's eyes, listens with the other's ears, feels with the other's heart. He then returns to his own center, with new perspective and understanding.
The second part of your reading reveals the hexagram for "Creative Activity":
Heaven above and Heaven below:
Heaven in constant motion.
With the strength of the dragon, the Superior Person steels himself for ceaseless activity.
Productive Activity.
Potent Influence.
Sublime Success if you keep to your course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
The time for action has come.
You now have the focus and the stamina necessary for accomplishing great tasks. The path before you is being cleared and reward lies ahead.
SUMMARY:
Stay on course. Do not have rigid perspectives that could undermine/sabotage you. First rest, and attain calm -- INNER peace and order -- so that you may smoothly, fluidly, easily bring the order you seek to your OUTER world!
Then you will be primed to best accomplish the tasks set before you! Ceaseless, productive activity! Potent influence! Action! Focus! Stamina! Energy! Sublime success, great accomplishment, and reward! Best of luck to you!

Current situation: Ace of Swords reversed. I think this means that you're not sure what it is that you want. Define what it is that you're looking for in a relationship.
Obstacles: Eight of Swords reversed. I don't think that the reversal has any meaning here. The environment that you're in isn't helping. Maybe your family doesn't want you to get into dating, or your friends. I'm not telling you to ditch your family, but you might want to keep your soul-searching hush-hush for now.
>>17492410
I don't know how she was, maybe she was the redheaded woman. You might meet a Jonathan in the future, it didn't feel like you knew him already.
>>17492457
>even older method of reading bones (which I'd LOVE to learn how you do!)
The chinese oracle bone readings are actually scapulomancy or plastromancy by way of pyromancy. In english: Take a turtle shell, or an ox shoulder, carve yoru question in the bone, get an iron red hot or otherwise heat the bone/shell and it cracks, you then interpret based on the cracks. Im not sure if this was an intuitive art, or if they were looking for specific shapes in the cracks or what.
The kind of bone reading I do is more similar to hoodoo bones, or african sangoma traditions, in which a bag of bones (and/or curios) is cast. Its something between tea leaves and rune readings, and is unique to every reader.
>2 to the 6th power = 64 hexagrams (or 8x8)
Ifa is even worse, there are 256 base figures called the "odu" each one of these odu have a complicated oral history behind them and there are generally in excess of hundreds and hundreds of lines of story PER odu. Each line of which is a divinatory tool. How these lines are extracted is a secret to the Ifa Babalawo (ifa readers). That's thousands and thousands of possible meanings per reading, and the Ifa is "alive" it continues to grow with new readers. Its really a lifetime calling.
>how yarrow stalks work
Basically, its just another number randomizer like flipping the coins, it has to do with sorting out the stalks between your right and left hands fingers and counting them. I dont know how it works, but its not difficult or hidden, you could do it, it just takes forever. Go on a google adventure!
>simpler form of Ifa sound like a Magic 8-Ball.
Well technically it's not Ifa at that point, just the same as getting yes/no answers from three coins isn't I ching anymore.
>systems like tarot, I-Ching, and Ifa is indeed astounding!
Ifa actually has the most by far, but it's also a completely guarded discipline, impossible to learn, and in my opinion it might be overly complicated for anyone who's not a yoruba.
>>17491553
I'm afraid I'll need a more specific query than a general one if we are to more directly address those issues with a reading + interpretation!

I hate to jump on the wagon, but I rarely catch you when you're reading. I've been struggling with depression for over ten years now, and I need a way out of this. I was able to deal with it before, but it's gotten really bad lately. I already meditate, work out, have hobbies, and socialize, but it's not doing anything for me anymore.
If you don't have time right now, it's cool; I'll hit you up when I see you doing readings.
>>17492630
I make it a policy to tell people in your situation that you really need to see a doctor. Please understand this is not meant to dismiss your trouble. I am just not a medical doctor, and if you have been suffering with your depression this long you need a medical professional. All of the things you mentioned can help certain people, but it sounds to me like you need some help in breaking you out of the cycle. While I can console and talk, I can't ultimately help. I really really encourage you to see a therapist or doctor to work this out. Ive dealt with depression for a lot of my life and I can give first hand recommendation to the process.

guise pls. I usually don't even do love readings. If half of you just shared emails, these love issues would probably resolve themselves. ok here we go...
>>17492710
I need to know what it is you're so eager to keep secret, I mean I guess I dont need to know the actual secret, more why it's so important to you. Your reading is going in two different directions, and it's got confusion and unanswered questions all over it. We need to figure out what some of that is before we can even think about love.

Did I? I very rarely say stuff like that, do you have an archive link or anything?

Anybody here doing readings? I never got mine and I'm like truly confused about what to do :c
>>17492843
>You were right
well, shit. I like being right about medical conditions or something that can help someone, I hate being right about bad shit.
What's going on with your bad luck? whats happening?
>>17492848
Ok now we're getting somewhere. You helped me understand one of my bones a little more now, thanks for that. Your obsession and determination here is absolutely focused on this guy. You are basing a great deal of your concept of the future on it and it is hurting you badly. Look the truth is, we all experience rejection, sometimes with a good reason, sometimes not. The only sane way forward is to accept it and keep moving. You have to experience rejection, but you do not have to suffer it.
I also misread the bit about you not knowing who you are, that is not the problem. The problem is that you have problems showing your own courage and self-esteem. Why do you think this is a problem? People are attracted to confidence dear. Especially men. Well, any men worth your time anyway.
Either way this obsession is pulling you in a different direction than your path and its getting you tied up in a knot. He may eventually come back, maybe he wont, either way, you need to focus on YOUR path, and stop hanging the future on this relationship happening or not happening. You have focused your will, your wishes, and your energy on another person much too hard, its time for some you time. I know you said you're lonely and you think you've had plenty of "me time" but you're not using it for your own betterment.
Focus on your individual life, reinforce yourself, don't be afraid to show others who you really are and move forward.
Also, just a little aside, keep an eye on your finances please, if this keeps up this way Im getting the impression theres going to be trouble down the road. Not immediate, but it's coming if you don't get a grip on it.

Ugh, there are two sides to that story... but it all comes down to how angry he gets... and you used the word "furious", which is a strong word, and we wouldn't want that to lead/escalate to violence, especially since the anger is an issue and the angry breakup fights have happened before. Besides, it's not fair to you emotionally, and emotional/verbal abuse can be on par with as bad as physical abuse and have the same effects (think PTSD, etc.). I'm usually all for second chances, but if he's had three strikes already without talking to him about it and his learning to control himself, he should definitely be out... and it sounds like he should most probably be out sooner (NOW) anyway!

So there's heartbreak in your past, yes? Someone broke your heart.
Now you're in this situation where you're faced to make a difficult choice. You don't want to make this choice though, you're just sitting there stagnant. You must give in and have faith in your intuition and in a connection with higher source energy to get you through this time. When you do this, you are allowing for your inner peace to be restored which will breathe the life back into your veins. Consider the fact that you are unable to see your options, so your personal perspective may be skewed.
Fear not, you are turning a corner and leaving behind one of the worst chapters in your life after you make this choice. Future shit won't be as bad as this. Not ever again. Your world is about to get brighter, as it hardly could ever be any darker than some recent dramas you have encountered.
In the future it gets better, so much better for you. A new person will come along in your life. It's a new beginning for you and you're going to love it. It'll make you so happy. You'll feel anew. You'll feel like you can do anything with this person. Keep your chin up anon.

Alright so in your past you were cheated on or someone cheated on you. I'm assuming from what I got in your current position you were cheated on. You got the hell out of that situation, which is reasonable and good for you.
Now you are grieving. You're grieving and trying to move on. But.. for some reason, you're also in a position you can take advantage of something. Or someone. The Magician urges you use this to your advantage. Your ability to be yourself and impress the right person or people can have a big impact on the direction your life take.
Get past your trust issues (if you have them now from what happened). In the future there's gonna be plenty of good times for you. There are people who will truly warm up to you and include you in their way of life. These may just be friends at first but you'll fall for at least more than one of these people. That's right. You'll be "juggling" them too (having your fun being center of attention, ya know). The cards warn you to pick one or else you'll only set yourself up for disappoint.

i have not be cheated on since i have never been in a relationship.
there is this gir i kinda have a thing for but i saw her with someone else when i met her for some unrelated thing, i was crushed. Cant blame her for it tough since we were never anything or hinted she wanted something, its was just her "friendly" attitude that gave me hopes.
I dont know who i could take advantage of if you mean it in a wrong way, the closest thing is that i want to compete for a scholarship for a summer program which im planning on doing.
Welp, me being able to pick among many is something i tought would never happen to me

>heavily implied.
Don't imply, state. Is there a brunette, glasses, long face, kind of quiet, secretly a little crazy?
>>17492943
> like I'm meant to be alone.
Maybe you are for the moment, keep in mind that could be a positive thing, what if you were wrapped up in a terrible relationship when the right one came along? Dont look at it as being single and being miserable, look at it as being available. It'll be ok. I have a feeling you're being a little stubborn with what you want, and refusing to take part, I think you expect love to just fall in your lap and be what you;re looking for. Love is an act, not a state of being. You have to actively love, forgive, accept, and work with someone.
>>17492946
>a useless artist can make something pretty but useless and get recognition.
Well isn't that rather arrogant? Check that attitude m8. You're not shy, you're abrasive. All the coding and programming skill in the world wont help you if no one can work with you, be more appreciative of others contributions to the world. Once you can value other peoples contributions, they will begin to value yours.
>>17492949
>what does this obsessed path lead to?
You already know, you're stuck in it. Just more of it. You've got to let it go. Like the other poster, you're not miserable and single, youre available and ready. Shift your will and focus towards getting yourself sufficient and reliable and the path will open up. Keep an eye on those finances for real, Im thinking it's in a few months time, maybe a bit farther out.
>>17493044
The cards are basically telling me: go for it guuurl.
I see you're really hooked on this guy but you're not really doing anything about it. If you want anything to happen you need to do something. It won't get better unless you do something.
If you do something your whole world will be flipped upside down! The guy you like may become more than the guy you like. He can become your boyfriend. This stagnancy in your current situation, or lack of situation will change BUT only if you do something. I card to clarify where this will go if you do take action: He will become your boyfriend in the future.
Is he the one? I can't believe it but he actually is. He will explain the meaning of life to you, as well as your role in it. Lucky for you.
>>17493104
The card I pulled can also indicate you leaving a situation that wasn't good for you. It's good that you left that situation because nothing would have come from it. It sounds like youre gonna get into that scholarship program so good for you.

A strong sense of where you are in the world at the moment.
meditation and peace in physical health. Calm. A gathering together of that which has been unhealthy so that it will no longer be a problem.
However a negative thought lurks, something that is waiting to strike at you, be mindful of your thoughts or they're going to be a problem.
This one is dread, it may have been haunting you for some time. You've been preparing for it, it's still coming. Timing is key. keep yourself mentally stable. There is a long rest coming where you can put your mind at ease.
I see a clash of will, or a race, towards an object in the distance, two vying forces... the object of their desire will not be reachable. It is receding from both of their grasps. They were companions. but this is distracting them from their companionship. One man is armed and ready for conflict, the other is not prepared for that.
There is an emotional stability brought on by disconnection from those emotions however it is not healthy. It is stable for the moment, but sterile. A comfortable relaxing place that is solitary. Do not let it make you complacent. You are bleeding emotionally, and you are ignoring it by separating yourself, be careful. If you let it go too long, you run a risk of harming your emotions permanently even if you feel stable in the moment.
>>17493116
> Is there a brunette, glasses, long face, kind of quiet, secretly a little crazy?
Who wears contacts usually? Yes. What did you see with her, because my guess was that she was keeping her distance, probably because some other dude is chatting her up lol
>>17493053
Wow all good cards for you. I'm jealous. :'(
The success of your current relationship(?) stems from the hard work you put into it early on. The foundation upon which you currently stand is deeply rooted in this past sense of completion.
Now you're experiencing all the good shit. You have so much hope for this relationship. A new idea of where to take your life has dawned. You're feeling really idealistic about this relationship (still in the honeymoon phase?).
Oh and your continuing hard work you put into this relationship will most definitely pay off. Just remember to keep working at it. The future of this relationship will be extremely fulfilling for you. Literally happy ever after.

nobody, you probably dont know the guy name even tough he solved a centuries old problem, this is what i meant.

funny enough I saw her putting her glasses on, as if she didnt always wear them... so yes, maybe. She's sort of keeping her distance, yes. I think though that she is more fun than she outwardly seems, I think she may be waiting for someone to show her that they know it and just be warm and friendly despite her outward mannerisms. Dont go overboard shes not a rock and roll rollercoaster type, but I think with the right person she can, and wants to cut loose and not be as quiet and reserved. I can see that some other guy might be chatting her up, but I dont think its a serious situation for her.
There's potential there I think. Don't be forceful, be light, be fun, keep her smiling, the smile is where it's at. Sense of humor spontaneity and fun will win her as long as it's not too intense too fast.
>>17493216
Also another example is sports.
i dude won an olympic medal in swimming and got a shit ton of mae and recognition, for swimming really well, the amount of money poured into swimming is shit ton compared to the benefits of people swimming really well.
two weeks after that a student team won a worl championship in robotics, something fundamental to our everyday lives and again nobody cared and they are some unkown nerds.
Its not fair my area is that is so important for society well being has no recognition and a lot of people are scientific illeterates (just look at the anti vaccine movement), while shynnes is look down almost universally

>>17493061
Your current situation is one that you had time in which to consider your options. You arrived to where you are now because of one person: you. Often this is a great feeling, to know that you made a good choice. However, if you are currently in a negative state of mind, you created many of the circumstances from which you now suffer.
Now you are getting some unwanted news or recently got some. Focus and stay positive. There may be plenty you are avoiding in your life, perhaps that you have become quite good at avoiding. The Knight of Swords assures you that suddenly you are no longer able to avoid things and that confrontation can and will commence.

Sevis can you tell me who I'll be with next? What does she look like?
>>17493221
>never did
That was perhaps indelicate wording on my behalf, I did not mean to imply you are impatient, you are VERY patient. What Im implying is that love, and lovers, are rarely exactly what we want from the get go. If you are holding out for that perfect 10 who is exactly what you want, you are going to be waiting a long time. Lovers do not start out perfect, you grow into it. Just remember that when you're out looking. It wont be perfect to start, you can grow into one another though if both of you are not being too stubborn about what you expect.
>>17493216
>mediocre artist could make a painting and get recognition
I don't know what world you live in but most of the best artists in history, and who are currently alive die penniless and unrecognized. Many people care about fermats theorem I was excited when I heard about it. There you go again pressing your presumptions and sense of superiority on people.
Let me flip this on you... how dare you presume I wouldn't know who Fermat or John Wiles are? What makes you think Im not also a programmer? What gives you the right to look down on other people in the way that you do? People who deserve recognition get recognition, and one of the best ways you can go about showing you deserve recognition is by being appreciative of others contributions and accepting your own may not be as great as you would wish.
You've got a bad energy about you. I would tell you to simply apply yourself and show them what you're capable of, but I dont think it's going to help until you improve those social skills. You went from mildly abrasive and arrogant, to outright rude and personally insulting. Check yourself.

a mediocre artist can get recognition can just go out and show they work, now when i said recognition i dont meant world famous recognition, just some of it.
Now there are some mediocre artists that get recognition due to dumb people, you cant compare justin bieber to Mozart yet they are both famous on the same field all while some better artist are penniless.
Now artist tend to be penniless because their work isnt utilitarian and there is a set amount of non-utilitarian work that is gonna get support.
Now its a good thing that you know about Fermats (even tough i never claimed you did not know about him, only about wiles), but most people dont. Are you sure it dont even googled his name? be sincere, i had to do it too. This is a world wide problem after all
now i dont care about "some" people caring, they need to care as much as they care about Robert Downey Jr., as much about they care about metallica, "some" doesnt cut it.
of course im not presuming having contributions at their level, just saying that my area isnt getting the recognition it deserves.
now the entire point is that these contribution mentioned (sports and art) is not contributing almost nothing to society while STEM is. we should get more for doing more, you cant compare a painting to a manufacturing system, you cant compare an expert violinist to the engineer that develop safety system in cars or net security
And even if i appreaciate others contributions, so what? the masses wont change because have that attituted
>>17493314
Hey, Sevis, are you still doing readings at the moment? Today some mixed feelings are flowing in my head in regards to someone, same person that I've been having issues with for the past week or so. I don't trust myself to give a reading for my own interests. Last reading I gave basically said for me to walk away from the situation.
But now I have a specific question: why do they keep coming back to me, despite the fact we just keep hurting eachother in the end? What do they want from me?
Been questioning this all day and I need some insights I guess.

You are coming out of a period of struggle or have came out of a period of struggle - You are likely to still feel the effects of a stressful time and even holding on to negativity. Don't dwell on this stuff, it's not good for you. Purgethe bad and let go of negativity that you are holding on to. Now you should take a chance on someone. It will pay off. Wow, very interesting... That kind of matches up with a different girl who is also short and blondish with a high voice. Do you see anything else? Can you go a little further in detail? Maybe I'll be able to pinpoint the exact girl.
I'll give out a reading - one (1) scry, to anyone interested.

well... fuck.
I dont usually do this kind of thing but something is trying to speak for you and I cant ignore that shit, thats how you get spooks in your house, so, Im going to read because whatever this is told me to...
First of all, do you have some sort of a problem with one of your shoulders your left I think? Get it checked into.
Secondly, Im seeing in the immediate future you're going to overcome an obstacle having to do with your ability to change the world around you... I dont know if this is finances or what, but based on the reading it feels more like a new outlook or sudden lifting of a burden thats going to give you more freedom. Youre going to start taking chances a bit more and get out... spread your wings as it were. After this Im seeing not one, but two female energies. One older, one younger. The response from the younger may not be what you want, but the older is receptive. Im getting a weird mother/daughter thing here. Im seeing either two and a half weeks or two and a half months, its hard to gauge time.. so either early april or some time in may? It may have something to do with when you start spreading your wings.
Whatever this is is very persistent, bless its soul. It would also like me to say "be happy" and "remember the bag" I dont know what the fuck that means, but enjoy... It's also showing me one of those.. old timey lawn mowers the push kind with the spinning blades. red.

>>17493335
I remebered wiles name because of the numerous news articles about the event. I was not aware of him before. Still your presumption that I probably didnt know anything is rude.
You continue to directly insult peoples intelligence and contributions based on your subjective viewpoint of what is important. Right now someone is deeply moved by Bieber, and my mozart, someone is weeping over fermats theorem, both in joy and in sadness, someone is finding strength to live from metallica, someone is inspired by a sports star.
While I agree that the sciences deserve more recognition and assistance and public concern, I disagree strongly with your stance that that is an objective and enforceable opinion that you can deride others with.
You can absolutely compare a manufacturing system to a painting, or a violinist to an engineer or a system admin. These are all beautiful works of human accomplishment and while you simultaneously say your field does not get the recognition it deserves, you throw others under the bus.
If you want to see others appreciate your discipline, start by appreciating theirs. If you want other people to respect you start by respecting them, that's the only path.
I've said my peace on this matter, and until you have found it in yourself to love your fellow man and their interests as much as you love your own focus and yourself, I have very little wisdom I can impart to you.
>>17493351
My best advice here doesnt come from divination but experience... people that hurt eachother over and over like that come back to one another because it is what they know. The familiar pain and injury is far less scary than the unknown. I would personally recommend an exchange of some small token, something that shows to each other that the other is not forgotten, a hug, and a goodbye. This continued attachment and ripping apart is damaging. You have already given of yourselves to one another, and the pain continues. Better now to give a concrete thing, a smile, a warm goodbye and move on.
In short, I agree with your reading. Carry something concrete of it on with you, remember, but say goodbye.

sheep, I think the question is more about why you want it to be returned than whether it will my friend. You've got yourself tied up in the thought of it and I think you like the idea of it more than you would like the reality of it. Even if it were returned, what then? You arent looking for a return of affection, you are looking for closure so you can go on, whether that closure is a relationship or a final answer. Know what you're looking for before you go looking for it.

You had a triumph in your past that has lead to where you are now. Sometimes, early success in life can leave ordinary good times down the road a little hollow. A good start on life might have given you some material advantages that are creating your current comfort … or dilemma. You have recently heard news of this fruit.
In the future you'll probably meander from this situation even if it's important and follow a hobby or vocation that is a different path altogether. Might be a spiritual awakening even? Or a new muse if you're in the arts (or surge of creation). Be on guard for manipulative individuals in this situation though

> Right now someone is deeply moved by Bieber, and my mozart, someone is weeping over fermats theorem, both in joy and in sadness, someone is finding strength to live from metallica, someone is inspired by a sports star.
they may be inspired just the same, its true. but the deeply moved one is watching Bieber on a TV, another one is being moved by Mozart playing from their smartphone and someone drived to a sports watch to their favorite game
see a patter here? its not about what they feel, i dont care about what they feel its about what they used, what they eat, what medicines do they take, all these things taken for granted.
we build upon one another, art build upon itsefl too but tranforming themselves.
An ancient greek was in awe with one of their statues, an european was inspired by mozart, and some folks could have been inspired today by an indie artist.
however technology allowed us to move on water rowing, then we managed to harness air to move, then steamboats, then we managed to fly, then we went to fucking space (this planet wont last forever, even if we take care of it, sun gonna go bang)
You cant compare a canoe to a rocket, but i can compare the awe of an ancient greek statue to some indie artist awe inspiring song, they remain at the same level.
>These are all beautiful works of human accomplishment
now you are throwing US under the bus, one is the base of your daily lives, one could be an awe inspiring song. but one get people fed, make medicines, makes cars, makes the instruments to play music with.
This is the kind of atituted that i meant, thinking just because they are both just as beautiful then they are comparable. You are completely diregarding their utilitarian value. and while "beauty" is subjective, utilitarian value can be measured with numbers.
>If you want to see....
you conveniently ignored what i said last post, even if i were to change society at large wont, my appreaciation system has almost no impact on them

So, nothing really to say about relationships?
>>17493459
The issue is, if I don't have to say goodbye, I don't want to. Part of me worries that in saying goodbye, I'm betraying a part of myself. The guy has a lot of issues with his own emotions, I'm finding. I don't think he knows how to articulate his feelings. He's very... stunted, emotionally. That's why I think he keeps coming back to me, because I don't hurt him directly. Rather, the reason we end up hurting eachother is because we have different viewpoints in life. It's not like I'm directly doing so.
I think he's unsure of how to get close to someone. It really seems like that, because there have been times when, normally early morning or late night, he'll say something extremely out of character. So it makes me wonder if cutting him off is the right choice or not. But there's also the possibility of him just using me, and it's one I am fully prepared to acknowledge. The issue is I want to know which it is before I act.

Interesting stories Anon, creepypastas to be sure - but not ones I've read too often. You win. I remember that stairs in the woods story from years back... I think?
>Do you see anything happening with me and my crush?
Here are some things I want you to consider when dealing with your crush:
A silent hunter. Namely, I foresaw a secretive submarine - a dark, quiet machine submerging into the black waters of night. Submarine's have a very clandestine aura about them - very cloak and dagger. It would seem that there is something about your crush that may require some stealth or secrecy... Perhaps decoding messages or spying or whathaveyou...
Another thing to consider - sex. That's right, you read correctly. Let's say that I foresawww... The holding of breasts? A mischievous smile and lip bite? There is something definitely physical going on with your crush. Hopefully, if you manifest it, it will be the two of you.
Lastly, and I know this may seem strange or sound weird - but the holiday of Easter is just around the corner. I foresaw something that pertains to the religious side of Easter - the lighting and burning of candles for some sort of vigil. Perhaps this could be pertaining to some sort of time constraint? Or perhaps a magical ritual involving candles?
What do you make of these signs Anon? Can you see through these illusions and make sense of what is really being portrayed here?
I wish you all the best of course.

ok the only other thing I can throw out there is the name "Amanda" you see, often times, when I get impressions or messages, I am seeing people from my own past, its kind of a 'language' that gets used, so Im sort of describing someone I knew from my own past to you to try and convey the image. This persons name in my past was Amanda, I usually refrain from using the name, but who knows...
Interesting that you do have some people who fit the physical description though and the bit about theater hitting accurately was rather significant, maybe there's something there?
>>17493507
Give me a minute to think on it, Ill get back with you.
>>17493508
and you.
>>17493482
Yes you have a chance with him but he is blind to these feelings you have for him like he doesn't know you feel this way. Your outcome with him is positive.
>>17493504
In your past you were in a relationship. It was a great, warm relationship.
Now you are in a position you can take advantage of. You have the ability to be yourself and impress the right person or people can have a big impact on the direction your life takes. You can get a girl/girls (or guys if you're a girl). Is it because you are no longer in this relationship? You have all these opportunities now. Be wary not to get taken advantage of though & to not fall out of touch with reality.
In your future I see great success. You will be blessed with a good relationship that can and will lead to a family. Think white picket fence.
>>17493459
Thank you for the reading. I think he is kawaii uguu & has all what I want in a person. Are you saying he's not what I think he seems? Also does that mean he will return my feelings? :B
>>17493550
oh, he knows. he just doesn't feel the same way
>Your outcome with him is positive.
well that's better than nothing. thanks, sorry if i caused you any trouble
>>17493549
Thank you, I do appreciate it.
>>17493549
Ah, don't know anyone by Amanda. But yeah the theater thing was spot on.
>>17493359
Thanks a lot! The reading was pretty accurate. Although I don't want a new relationship anytime soon, I wish I knew the person you're talking about. Maybe it's mom and dad, since I moved out of my ex's place yesterday and moved back in with them. Thank you again (:

>>17493550
Can you tell me about that past relationship? Could it have lasted or was it just a learning experience?
>>17493550
Sheep can you give me a love reading? Ty
>>17493547
I am burning a candle right now for luck... As for the secretive thing would that mean to pay attention to what he does? He looks at me a lot with an intense stare but no smile. thank you.
>>17493551
I pulled the 8 of swords I probably should have interpreted that better for his feelings.. It basically means he is confused/restricted about it. I think he will change his mind. I'm sorry I'm kind of drained.
>>17493604
don't worry about it sheep, thank you again. like i said i hope i wasn't too much hassle for you
>>17493549
boo
>>17493609
you are so kind I am sorry. i should put more effort in but i am tired. hit me up another day and tell me who you are i will give you a longer reading.
ok I have to go one at a time here, im getting pulled to many directions.
>>17493507
This is a tough situation, I feel your conflict. Whats the deal with the family issue, and the passed relative? Is someone having a housing issue here? I cant tell if this reading is for him or for you. Can you tell me any more about that?
As for using you, keep in mind he may be doing that without realizing it if he is emotionally stunted. I see this path your own leading to some unhealthy obsession and confusion down the way if you don't get a solution.
>>17493581
It's not healthy for you to think these kind of things. Don't mope on what could have been if its over now. There is happiness in store for you after all. Fortunately this past relationship for you; it was just a learning experience. Now you know what you want out of relationships, no?
>>17493641
Yes, I've done a lot of work on myself as a result of it. Unfortunately there's a more private matter that came as a result that I don't know how to handle in any new relationship situation.
>>17493649
Do you want to talk about it with me anon? I enjoy giving advice and I have an open ear.
>>17493634
>family issue, and the passed relative
I have family issues myself, major ones, but they're not playing a role here. But... passed relative? Excuse me? That has to be on his end, because my relatives are all alive at the moment.
And, I'm not having a housing issue, but he's mentioned he's moving out of his place after a year due to the apparent rent spike.
I think you're picking up on him. But you could be picking up on something else entirely. I'm not sure. I just... relative passing? My god, if that's right, I wish he told me... but that would explain why he brought up death earlier this week. It was just in passing, but he seemed so... relaxed about it.
>see this path your own leading to some unhealthy obsession and confusion down the way if you don't get a solution
I think the obsession is coming from my own want to help. I have a bad habit of taking it personally when I can't help someone with issues they're facing, I know I shouldn't, but if they're struggling with something and I can't help, it hurts me personally because I feel useless.

How about some fresh OC?
I live in a cabin in the woods about four miles out from a small town in Florida, and recently I have been seeing a small family of black sheep in and around my forest.
I design and create antique furniture, and I keep my own stock of burr oak and lotus ( don't ask me why I keep lotus; it grows naturally here and it is a really cool tree.) They have three babies between the two of them, and two of them are black. It's not unheard of, but both of them are white, so it is genetically very hard to breed even one - especially two.
Every year my friends and I go duck hunting in that very same stretch of 24 acre forest, as it has both a small pond near the center and a larger lake that goes into other people's properties on it.
There are a lot of animals - especially birds - that are federally protected around Florida, so we have to use good scopes on our rifles to confirm what bird we were shooting.
So on this day, we have me and my three friend anons out on the middle of a hot day, shooting off the shoreline of the lake, as we had previously lured them onto the lake with duck whistles ( the only way to lure real ducks and not those egrets or whatever as well) and I'm sitting behind a tree, on the end of a four man line of four trees. We usually try and to shoot in unison as there is only the one herd of ducks (which also means we don't hunt very often) and as I'm getting ready to take my shot I see a black thing floating in the water.
I try to get a closer look and I edge out of my rifle sight to see it better when I hear the "scrape bone" from one of my friends, which is our signal to fire. In that instant, I see a black sheep prancing in a meadow that I recognize from a neighbour's property.
I wasn't ready to take a shot as I wasn't even looking at a duck, let alone having a sudden flashback of an animal I barely see in a place I barely know.

After we take our shot, the ducks scatter and we have a friend of mine's dog reteive the ducks from the lake (I was the only one who missed) and instead of going for the ducks, he goes for the black mass. It turns out to be the waterlogged body of a black sheep- a male.
I haven't seen or heard of any of the family since.
I have a feeling that one of them got picked off, and the rest of the family skedaddled? I don't know enough about sheep.
Anyway, I just want a general reading.
does cheswick future reading come true?
>>17493739
I'm still waiting on mine.
>>17493739
No.
>>17493677
ok well assuming this is his then...
He has a LOT of doubts, and a lot of fears about his stability, I think you may want to ask him why he was talking about death and see if he has lost someone. My ancestor bone plays tricks and isn't always clear, but its lying between a symbol for doubts, or mystery, and a symbol for home and safety, stability. I think he has some major issues with his family as well.
I think he has an obsession with you because he sees you as stable, supportive, helping him get where he needs to go. The thing here is, what are you getting from this? You two are at a point where you need to define what you both expect and what is hurting or healing eachother... why you're both here in the first place. I can see this becoming a painful codependency if you two don't sort it out.
I wish I had better advice, but this is going to come down to you two figuring out whether to continue on like this, and if so, how you can avoid the damage its causing right now. I think perhaps he isnt being entirely honest with you, nor you with him. That needs to be fixed if this is to go anywhere. He needs to know you're there to support him, and you need to know that you've supported him. While that feels like a sharing good thing, its going to drain you unless you two address it.
Best of luck Kaworu... take care of yourself while healing others.

With J, it seems like she's more of a friend. It's possible she may pursue you in a friendship, but it might not be something you're ready for. It seems you may be interested in other girls while in the relationship.
With L, it seems it will be a lusty relationship. Although, love will be less likely. She seems very insecure when it comes to love, so she the relationship will be hard to manage.
With M, it seems she'll be more likely to form a lovey-dobey relationship. She seems cautious when it comes to any hostility, so you'll have to work on being gentle, and not provoking anything, in order for the relationship to stay in pristinity. There's a possibility of male competition. Other than conflict, it seems the relationship will be healthy, though it really depends on your mindset. If you have any ounce of pessimism, you may find that the relationship is falling very fast.
>>17492413
You're welcome! Have fun being nonsensical and pointless. It's always a good time.
>>17492415
You have a good sense of style, despite any downfalls you may think you have.
>>17492435
Do you? Of course. Everyone does. I think everyone's soul upbringing tells us a different way to activate it, though. It's different for everyone, though there are things that all of us have in common. For example, all of our abilities have to do with ourselves, if we are to use them through the body.
>>17492447
Your love life is stifled by inherent qualities you possess. These qualities can be worked on through natural growth and development. It seems she is long gone, though it's likely she still wants to be friends. A relationship is a no-no, BUT there is a small chance. It seems you become too distant at times. If you work on you suddenly becoming distant, you can rekindle your relationship.
>>17492479
She reminds me of a vampire. Probably was a vampire in a past life. She doesn't really seem to be interested in anyone thanks to the mindset she has about love and relationships.
>>17492040
>>17493508
I think there's potential there, he seems open to it Id say go for it. He seems a bit pushy or intense, watch out for that. I dont think hes a bad guy though.
>>17493533
If youre not having a problem with your shoulder dont worry about it, sometimes the bones are literal, sometimes not. If it starts hurting check it, if not, no worries.
I dont KNOW that it was family but something was insistent. Youll be ok anon, one day at a time, focus on yourself and the path will open up.
>>17493569
maybe focus on the theater girls and see what happens.
>>17493550
>are you saying...
No what Im saying is that I dont think you know what you want out of this... I know you like him but I think you're wanting a return of affection as a sort of... validation for your own emotion. I dont think he's closed off to it, I think theres emotion there, but make sure you know why you want it.
>>17493618
hey bangbang!
>>17492479
She isn't all that interested in you. And don't go thinking about manipulation either. It will blow up in your face because of the mindset you have about her. I'm talking about the same consequences of being with the skank.
If you do change your mindset about her, and women in general, you'll be able to form fruitful relationships, based on the reality of your partner.
>>17493779
>She doesn't really seem to be interested in anyone thanks to the mindset she has about love and relationships.
I know a virgin who isn't interested in anyone right now, but it's not due to her mindset; it's due to her poor health.
