So I went out and bought a toshiba 120gb SSD for like $52 and i have the 2.o iso and it keeps telling me that theres a problem with the install.

i downloaded the iso from kali.org/downloads and burned the .iso to a dvd

That's not a random jumble, that's the sha1sum of each file.
