All the damage seemed to be to the external plastic.
Even though the num lock light still seem to work ok, even if I reassemble the keyboard, none of the keys work.
All the hardware is in one piece though.

I can't remember the name of an animated math cartoon. Might have aired in the 2000's. Probably not anime. It was sci-fi-ish. One of the episodes had a space station that represented a number line.

wait, really? that sucks. i don't think you can change it, windows is very limiting when it comes to customization.
you could try posting on their forums and see if their support has something to say about it. this is a silly and annoying issue.
