If it's not rtmp or cut in parts, flash video downloader for firefox.
If it's rtmp, rtmpdump for the console.
If it's cut in parts, try spoofing mobile and see if it gives you a single one to download with flash video downloader. If it doesn't, you're screwed, and the best you can do is to download all the parts, for example collecting the links with flash video downloader and then pasting them on DownThemAll, and then joining them with, like, mkvmerge or ffmpeg.
That should take care of almost anything.

thats a precaution in case the noise spikes from the motor brushes make their way via the power lines into the digital circuits and those circuits misinterpret the spikes as control signals causing things to function incorrectly.

The next time you wanna do something like that:
In the gimp, just hit Colors > Hue-Saturation, and change the colors like you want. In this case, I turned both the yellow hue to blue, but that left the red hue all pixelated, so I turned the red hue into cyan. Pretty simple stuff.
