Hey boys.

I'm trying to remember the name of a manga I was reading months ago.
It's about some dude that gets cucked by his Big Brother and moves to the city to work in a bar. He has E.D.

Any ideas?

Alright so I just brought my old desktop from back home and set it up in my dorm. I bought a netgear n300 wifi router and am trying to connect it to the wifi of my school's residence hall.

I plugged it all in but it won't do anything besides say there is no network access and when I try to type in www.routerlogin.net on google chrome to log in to the router it just says "webpage is not available."

The instructions say I need a modem to plug into the router but do I really if I just wanna connect to the wifi? Isn't the router supposed to do that on its own?

I'm sorry if my cluelessness with this is frustrating.

Do you have a WiFi adapter for your desktop? Is it plugged in?

It sounds like you can't even connect to the router.
>>
1. connect desktop to router with lan cable
2. change router to bridge mode
3. connect router to campus wifi
4. ???
5. profit!

split the gif using a gif splitter then use photoshop or paint.net magic wand tool to color/delete background

then remake gif from parts
>>
>>53035
You can do this in photoshop without splitting the gif

Can I hardcode subtitles with ffmpeg?

I have the code for muxing the .mp4 and .srt, but iI have a version of Diablo, and it came with an srt of the non english parts only.

I want to hardcode these subtitles to be able to watch it without turning on subs at all.

and then I an mux the english subs as an option.

Pic unrelated, just some nice tequila.

Yes you can. You do it by re-encoding the video, and adding in the subtitles filter in the middle.

Be warned that the subtitles filter:

- doesn't use the standard escaping for parameters, so a some filenames that ffmpeg will accept, its subtitle filter won't
- will crash if you tell it there's subtitles when there's not
- can't just read the subtitles from the file; needs to be given the filename again, escaped differently to the way ffmpeg wants it
- will crash sometimes anyway
- is generally a PITA.

If you're going after MP4, then ffmpeg is still your best bet, but there's no way to give you a "just type this" command-line, because what you need to tell ffmpeg to do depends on the file, your fonts, and the phase of the moon.

Renaming the file to "/tmp/a.mp4" helps, as does using unix instead of Windows.
>>
>>52916
Like >>52992 mentioned, hardcoding subs means re-encoding the whole video. Yes, you can do this with FFmpeg.

To burn subtitles into a video you need to use the subtitles filter and the overlay filter. Here's an example with a filter expression to do this:
ffmpeg -i MOVIE.mp4 ... -filter_complex "subtitles=subs.srt[s],[0:v][s]overlay[v]" -map "[v]" -map "0:a" ... -c:a copy ... NEW_MOVIE.mp4
>>
>>53343
Alternatively, if you don't need to use any other filters in the chain, the filter expression itself can just be:
-vf "subtitles=subs.srt"

I've just about had it with Firefox and its moronic sync system, and I am seriously considering switching to Chromium. What I want to know is, does Chrome/Chromium yet have:

> an equivalent to DownThemAll?
> an equivalent to NoScript? (inb4 uMatrix)
> a decent YouTube downloader?
> an equivalent to Ghostery THAT ACTUALLY BLOCKS COOKIES?

I just use Firefox and its ilk for the addons, but I've been seriously considering switching to a Chromium-based browser for a while. Mozilla is driving Firefox straight into the ground with its bullshit, and Cyberfox/Pale Moon/Waterfox/whatever aren't much better. Meanwhile, Chrome seems to be a nice browser aside from its botnet and inferior addon system, and Chromium as well aside from its lack of a built-in updater, which can be worked around by scheduling updates for it in Chocolatey.

If anyone here knows anything about Chromium addons, feel free to chip in. In the meantime, I'm going to be installing and configuring it.
