It seems like there's a fair few new people here since when I last posted but the best advice I can think of for all the people I haven't replied to in this thread is:
1. Pick a theme and be consistent with it. Think of overarching colour schemes for your entire phone.
2. Balanced design. Make sure your shit is balanced if it looks wonky it sucks
3. Meme shit like >2 clocks

4. Take one aspect of something you like from someone in this thread, and think of how you could implement it. Ask them sauce/how they did it if necessary.

I would suggest a music widget that you make yourself - I've only ever done it using KWGT (free) but I'm pretty sure your Zooper can handle it.
Use some web services to find out which colours are most prominent in your pape. Usually they list them in descending order of the most - least colours. Use those for your sidebars.
Since you already have apps in the left sidebar, could you place your Messages and Phone app there as well, making room in your right sidebar for something else (system stats, up/down speeds, a slideshow perhaps?)

Now I'm trying to get the number by the whatsapp icon to show the amount of unread messages I have, I've followed this guide http://www.jagwar.de/show-counter-for-notifications-in-uccw-with-tasker-variables/ but it only works partially, what I mean with this is that sometimes it updates, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it updates after a while.
This goes for both increasing the counter and for setting it to 0 when I check whatsapp.
So, has anyone had actual success doing this? Suggestions etc welcome, I plan on adding a clock to the lockscreen and removing the one on the top left.

That will let you make in app purchases for free, and you'll be able to use klwp zips.
