1. The rotating smiley face needs a carpet nose
2. Thicken the lines on the bottom box to match the circle and all your text, which are all somewhat thick

I followed Adrift's and Anon's advice and decided to fuck around with KLWP. I'm quite happy with the result, though is there a way to have a slider from the bottom which I can pull up and display all of my apps? I'm not sure how.
(I'm also planning on removing the Nova waffle button at the bottom when I can do that.)

You could always make your own icon in Photoshop for the app drawer and use that.
If you're using Nova launcher you can also set either the home button to open the app drawer or a gesture, which is usually what I do.

I have mixed thoughts on this one. The off white background goes really well with the icons, and the tree branch goes really well with the clock, but it doesn't go together as a whole quite as well. I still like it though.

I don't know what font you're using, but if I were you I wouldn't use it. A lot of really good 'Comfy' rices use really thin, modern looking text with icons that are just outlines, like glyphs.
General tips: don't round corners (usually), keep all your rectangles the same width (bottom rectangle is longer than the top), and most people don't like all drawer icons.

I get that you're sticking to the Overwatch theme, but to be honest it's just too busy visually and a bit inconsistent (i.e. Icons).
A few things that would improve this is to remove the dock and move the music/weather panels down to fill the space, then remove the icon labels and space them out better (As an alternative, you can add an extra column and row of icons instead of changing the spacing). There's probably an icon pack somewhere that's better suited for what you're going for, but you could always try and make your own icons to use. Also, dump the search bar.

Read through and follow the steps in the guide. Rooting is extremely easy now and it's virtually impossible to hard brick your phone.
Just so you know though rooting isn't exactly necessary for ricing, since all you need to rice is nova launcher and klwp both of which are available without root.
