It works, but it's a beta. It still feels unpolished. Some features are not yet implemented, like the mail/contacts thing on the side panel. You can't change the startup page, you're forced to use speed dial (at least, I couldn't find how), but it is something that will change before the release.
It's also based on chromium, so it pretty much feels the same. You can install crx now. But that also mean that if you're coming from Chrome, there's not much for you on Vivaldi. Actually, if you're happy with your current browser, there aren't many reasons for you to switch. It mostly appeals to former Opera 12.x users. Tabstacking, mouse gestures, side panel, ... things like that.
So, as of now, it's good enough, but there's still work to be done.

Question for thread folks:
I currently have a small 13" QHD laptop (DPI is like 225%). Looking to get a large 34" QHD screen, would this mean I can set my DPI on the monitor at 100% and things wouldn't be microscopic? I have some programs that require 100% DPI where if I change my current DPI it's impossible to do work outside of the application.

Sorry to disappoint Anon, but that's not how DPI works, DPI is a mouse setting (dots per inch) which determines how many dots on the screen the mouse moves per inch of mouse movement.
I think you're looking for PPI (pixels per inch) which you can't change because that's part of the monitor.
If you are talking about DPI correctly, get a mouse with a DPI switch. I honestly recommend gaming mice like the Corsair K65 ($60 USD), the Logitech G502 Proteus Core ($70 USD), or the Logitech G602 ($80 USD); these are just my personal recommendations, and are by no means perfect for everyone, and also may be too pricey. If that's the case, any mouse with a sensitivity button (or probably any mouse with macro buttons, never tried using a macro for switching DPI) will work just fine.

Libraries work a bit differently, its one location(AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries) but lists multiple directories. I mean, you can open any directory from the context menu... My point was, to the best of my knowledge you cant "step up" or have a context menu open to the next folder.
Basically, what I think you're trying to do is what is already possible within the start menu. In which case, why aren't you using the indexing service / start menu exactly?

The configuration is essentially the exact same no matter what distro you use. Mint, Arch, its all the same. Its as difficult as you want to make it. Arch has the best package manager though and overall the best packages available imo. If you're new to Linux or don't have the time to put in, it might take you a while to learn a lot of the other stuff though, it doesn't really work out of the box like Mint does.

Using an edited rainmeter player (Muziko) (removed the controls and song progress), and also installed Monstercat Visualizer, just the bar.

Well, yeah, the SAO theme was mostly made exactly to match the requestee's ideas, but it was hard to work on because of that.
It's autohidden, in fact, it's autohiding by default; I've put an option to lock it, but that's only ever really helpful if you want to permanently keep an eye on it. The "pops out when you right-click on the side" method seems to be a lot more useful for me, especially since it can be brought up easily while browsing fullscreen for example, but you won't accidentally activate it while trying to scroll or so.
