Games made people?
>>

Are you talking about the NES port? Because computer Hydlide is great.
>>
Wasn't Action 52 was literally made by random college students who didn't know shit about programming?

it's a shitload of fuck what were they thinking

They removed good things and added unnecessary stuff from Hydlide 2. And they released the game in 1990 so that it looked bad in comparison to games that were inspired by it.

..In NA of course. The original FC release was in 1986, yet you could argue that it's still rather negated by the fact that THF was released a month earlier (albeit on the FDS, but still).

The music. That's my only complaint.

What did they remove? As far as I can remember, only a couple of things were switched in place, and a couple of enemy/puzzles work differently because of the magic (which was added, but isn't much like Hydlide 2's magic).

A lot of those 80s computer arcade ports were a programming abomination.

Wonky save system because it's a shoddy port of a Disk System game to the NES, but it lacks a proper save feature so you have to manually write down your save and then manually type it in.
Sure, it's cheaper to not have a battery for saving, but it also makes a worse product for the end user, the 100% manual saving really adds to the tedium that's already there.

Also it's overall just not as good.

That's a huge QUALITY mouth.

It was a regular 32kB cartridge game and not a FDS release. You get one temporary save but it's still a lot less than the computer versions.

The X1 port also had scrolling.
>>
>>3324926
You sure there wasn't a disk system one?
>>

Hydlide Special was released one month after the FDS and only Nintendo was publishing games for it.
>>
>>3323137
That is correct. So?
