Gen V, but I guess if I really had to pick just one I'd say White, though I like them all.
Least favorite would be Alpha Sapphire. It just really fell flat for me, and I like Ruby slightly better than Sapphire.

Diamond/Pearl. I hate everything about it, at least in comparison to other Pokémon games. Not that it's objectively bad, but I subjectively loathe it more than any other game in the franchise.

Pic related. I was undecided for a long time, (Nidoking used to be my fav, but idk. Just stopped.) but this guy was the star of a recent Wonderlocke run in X. I loved using him, and he died in it, but he cemented his place in my favorites list by then.

I stopped at the beginning of gen 4, and don't regret it. I wasn't a serious lover of the series at the time anyway, but whatever. I did, however, recently watch the Hoopa movie on Netflix, and it was entertaining.

Least favorite is black and white. I just didn't really like the overuse of bridges, some of the questionable pokemon design as well. It's still a good game in it's own right though.

Fav: Plat. Just so much stuff jam packed into one game. Only better since I played it with friends in HS. Remember the gameboy port adding extra pokemon? All these little things polishing it into a great game. And that OST.
Dislike: Gen 3 remakes. Was never a huge fan of gen 3 in the first place, but these remakes felt in a way the opposite of Plat. Shallow. No battle tower was a slap to the face.
Fav Poke: Gligar/Gliscore. Bat scorpion demon is pretty cool.
TV show: No, never really did. Even as a kid I only really enjoyed catching episodes of the first season.

Black/White, I have the fondest memories of that generation, also has some of the best Pokemon in it. The reboot with no old Pokemon was really enjoying, it had top tier music and the best climax with the N and Ghetsis fights.

The OG Red/Blue, FRLG does it better and it has aged badly in my opinion. But none of them are outright bad, I have just played them so much that they've become boring and stale. I've played through these games countless time.
