Hidden Grottos are areas outside of Entralink, so normal Pokeballs can be used.
That said, any Pokeball (excluding Apricorn balls for obvious reasons) can used in Entree Forest area along with Dream Balls.

ORAS does not have Friend Safaris. Breeding with a Ditto is good for genderless mons, but honestly, you'd be better off having a 5-6 IV mon in every egg group.
