At the end of the day, it was scuffle against Team Rocket which happens nearly every episode. If I was to count that match as a win for Hawlucha, then near enough all the team rocket scuffles would have to count because we counted one as an official battle when it wasn't.
The fact that it was against Team Rocket outweighs that it was a win. That's how I see it anyway.

The strongest Mega Evolution Acts have clearly been established as canon to the main anime, which also makes Ayakya and Louie canon characters, even though they are now also appearing in the main anime, so Alain should recognize the both of them with no problem.

-In "Pokémon Ranger - Deoxys' Crisis!", Solana mentions the events of the 7th movie, and that Deoxys appeared via a meteorite. She even talks about the city "LaRousse city" which has only been seen in the movie.
-During "May, We Harley Drew'd Ya!" it's revealed that Drew comes from LaRousse City, which was previously a location only from the seventh movie, Destiny Deoxys.
Movie 8 - Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
