I think one trick to getting replies in these threads is to make sure the fake in the OP doesn't look terrible.
I make no promises for quality. Some of these are pretty bad.

Where'd you get a picture of my mom's dolphin?
I've shown the goldfish one before, but I got the other two starters with it now. Not sure if there's anything to change before I finalize the art though.
Suggestions would be nice, especially on the grass starter. It's supposed to be a komodo dragon, but I'm not sure if it looks close enough.

The goldfish is still my favorite. I think the grass starter might be a bit too busy for the first stage though. Maybe make the tail spikes less developed?

Fire rabbit is always a great concept, especially if you bring in some jackalope and wolpertinger aspects. But this thing needs some pretty serious changes, I'm getting the strongest Terriermon vibe from it.
Your monitor lizard is off to a pretty good start, but I'd remove the buds on its shoulder, unless they're part of a design motiff that you'll be expanding on in its evolved forms.

I'll drop the tendrils (not really spikes since it's based on a drosera plant) and add them in another stage. Or maybe have them as bumps.

I've been told the Terriermon thing before. I want to keep it floppy-eared though. The plan was for it to become a jackalope/greaser with its horns becoming combs.
As for the grass starter, the shoulder buds are going to become a large drosera leaf collar. Pic related was the original version of it. Going to revamp it though.

Mid stage is 'it just walks on all fours now' from the first. Maybe expand on the leaf helmet thing you have going on, and make it armored or something?
And if you insist on the floppy ears, I'd take a look at Terriermon and do as much as you can to distinguish it. Change the eyes and the body proportions a bit, maybe put some fire burning at the tips of your guy's floppy ears?

That's not the midstage. That was the original first stage. I haven't made a mid stage yet. Thought about having it quadruped from the start but dropped it for the first pic I posted.
I planned on the fluffy ear tips being able to ignite on the rabbit. I'll look into changing up the body shape (I personally thought it was looking a bit close to Bunnelby so I was planning on changing anyway).

I'm >>26027025 and I'm gonna say that it's a bit hard to tell the general theme of the starters' lines. For example, what's going on with the komodo dragon? Is it becoming a canon? Turtle-like? What about the fire rabbit? The final form gets what looks like blade arms, but I don't know 'what' it's becoming. I mean, I'm not an expert on Pokemon designs or anything, but you can often tell what a real Pokemon is based on in terms of object/animal and theme.
In short, the designs don't seem real Pokemon-ish. If you have a theme planned for your lines, I'd try to make them more pronounced. Like, if you're going for a knight on the rabbit line, make it look more like a knight.

The first idea for the grass starter was to make it become a fort (first stage uses bark for armour) but I kind of scrapped it, might go back on it
Fire starter is just based on digging, so it gets blades for arms. Also it shoots fire from its ears rather than its mouth, and in the final stage it can see from them.
Water is basically a white knight.
Other fakemon need not apply. Nothing comes close to Sage's dex and that's fact.

I like the concepts for some of them, But I can agree most are trash.
Meanwhile, I look for decent looking Eeveelutions we could get for my favorite typings and it is all garbage.
Take Steel. The ones I see are either too edgy, Too simple or dumb with just adding a gleam and coat change or a single part that looks shoved on then grown.
Give me something scared that hides behind it's giant metal plated ears that forms a shield.

I think it could use a lot of tweaking, but it wasn't a serious doodle by any means. If I'd redo it, I'd exaggerate the head size and the size of some other details like the back "wings", maybe shorten the tail and make it fatter, ... I don't know.
