The amount of anime airing on US networks is abysmal to the amount of anime created and aired every season, not to mention US airs shit that has aired in Japanese usually years ago. Anime doesn't make profit by airing on TV. Anime makes profit by advertising the source material, be it a light novel or manga or game and boosting those sales as well as BD sales. None of that applies to the US. The license US networks buy is literally pocket change in the anime industry.
Also, the US only gets the most family friendly anime that is less likely to get normalfags and soccer moms or the US in general which is significantly different in culture and mentality than eastern audiences angry. You know how small is the number of anime like that? Japanese producers and creators don't give a single fuck about foreigners(gaijins). They don't make profit and they're not the core audience nor the target audience.
