This looks way better than what we have now, by a longshot. A perfect blend of new and old artstyles. It's a little washed-out, but somehow in a good way, it really suits the feeling of the first generation well.
I really wished the games looked more like this, or at the very least, a Gen 1 remake that had this artstyle, it's a lot better than FRLG.
