The Celebi Movie Guy is the guy who originally proposed to put Celebi in the movie instead of the planned GS Ball reveal arc. As a result, the GS Ball was left with Kurt and never mentioned again because 'kids will forget about it'.
The audio commentary on the Entei DVD stated that the Japanese producers had told the dub staff that we would be learning about Ash's father in the upcoming Season 4 (Johto League Champions, where the Celebi Arc would have been if they had done it), yet we never did. It is possible that they were bullshitting, but it still implies a possibility that we were cheated out of meeting Ash's father thanks to the Celebi Movie Guy.

The tease will probably be like the usual "upcoming episodes" trailers we get every couple of months.
We'll probably get glimpses of Wyvern, possible recurring characters like Shauna and Shota, More TF stuff, Wulfric, League/TriPokalon.
I'm betting they're going to save the big reveal of Ashs 6th mon, whether Charizard or whatever they decide to give him until a later date.
I doubt they'll show Noibats parents though, it hasn't had enough development for them to even give a shred of a reason for a "goodbye" episode if they decide to go that route. Which I doubt they will considering Goodra claimed that space for XY.

Longer character arcs where a character is forced to grow up need to have more, like backstory, revelations, actual development, and some introspection. Goodra benefitted from some of these which makes its character arc enjoyable, not to mention, episodes are not back to back. Goodra quickly got over its fear of Dedenne and bugs, helped against TR, and willfully wanted to become stronger.
This is what Eevee lacked, despite beating TR, and defeating Blastoise in a dance off, and the support that Serena and the others are giving her, its primary character trait, shyness, was still prominent in spite of three back-to-back episodes, not to mention it nearly costing Serena her Tripokalon. I don't even remember if they mentioned that Eevee wanted to get over its shyness, though it performing with Serena in the Tripokalons is supposed to be the same thing, i suppose.
