Three Fakemon designs I made a long time ago. I think Dragoyle was heavily modified and placed into PokeAus, but it's so different from the original design that I don't mind keeping it as my own. (They insisted it should look more like a statue, and be Rock/Dragon instead, even though its gimmick is pretending to be a statue and not actually being a statue)
What do you guys think?

I remember this. My main complaint was that it looks too plain. Maybe take some inspiration from certain rough-skinned reptiles or the fact that reptiles often stay perfectly still to conserve energy.
I'm also not sure why being part normal type is absolutely crucial to the fact that it mimics a statue. Why not just make it pure dragon type?

Roadkill Pokémon
The first is just an opossum. The second is a hybrid of animals commonly hit by cars: mainly dog, opossum, and deer. I like the first one better. I've never been good at drawing evolutions.

I drew these two shortly after Drifloon and Drifblim were revealed as counterparts. I named the bottom one Polterkites but never came up with a name for the pre-evolution.

This one is a possum mixed with one of those clown stress dolls that you squeeze and the eyes pop out. Doesn't have a name, but when it's attacked/threatened/stressed/tired, its eyes and ears pop out and it pretends to be KO'd.

It does have certain traits that reminds it of Pachirisu, particularly its tail (from what I can see of it) with those tufts sticking out of it. The color scheme does salvage it a bit, but I'd say a revisit to its tail and bead eyes could separate it even further and less likely to be accused of being a clone.

GREAT concept for the head, but I'm not the biggest fan of those lightning bolts lining the back and tail, they just seem tacked on there to further cement its typing (unless I'm missing something). If such bolts need to be included, see if they can be incorporated into the belly or overall body pattern, and not just lining the edge of the back.

Starters for a fakedex I'm working on (Grass-Grass/Dark). Emphasis was supposed to be on physical bulk and defenses. I know the contrast is messed up on Starvine, I had no access to a scanner and was forced to take pictures of the scribbles with my phone and do not possess enough skills to fix it without digging out my tablet and pen to do fine detail fixes.

That's funny because I made comparisons to Cradily in my head. Then I realized that there are a lot of Pokemon that look vaguely alike and said "to fuck with it" and stuck with that design. It's the first second stage I managed to draw for that line that didn't look like utter shit to me. It's different enough for me, but I might change the shape of the buds around it's neck (which is where I imagine the comparison you're making is coming from).

I can't draw it now but Ice/Fire Pokemon based on Maxwell's Demon would be cool. His ability can be named Second Law and would equal speed of everyone on the field. Moves should include heat wave, icy wind, detect, lock-on, recycle and some others.

Much like another anon said, this is one of those designs that's trying its darnest to make a concept work, but gets more complicated the more it tries. Making a fake based on a Jack In A Box is fine, but when you also try to throw Santa Claus and nut crackers in there, you'll end up with more than what you can chew. I'd say focus exclusively on the Jack-Box part, since that will leave you with room to make it seem like an actual creature, and not some weird creation whose habitat is restricted to toy factories and haunted circus tents. Also, see if you can make the base stage capable of moving around, even slightly, perhaps by having loose ribbon ends that lets it drag itself over surfaces?

The last stage really needs more body to work with, that enormous head would leave it prone to falling over at any moment. Or you could go full octopus and give its vines much more gorth, maybe even thorns as well. Another problem is that I see no clear theme or concept with it. Right now I'm just seeing a big jaw with vines, maaaaybe a centaur if I look really deep, but nothing that stands out as creative.

it doesn't keep any similarity of the previous evolution, the face is poorly executed, and it looks more like a teck deck or some character from a flash cartoon rather than a pokemon

I'm not sure how to fix the face, but I guess it's my own fault for not mentioning that I'm planning on making a second form for the pineapple that looks more similar to the first stage (fire replaces leaves on head and skirt, becomes more red etc)
