your klefki lv8 has a higher bp than steelix lv1. You gotta catch it first and train it to lv 5 to use it effectively. Just try a few more times and get used to the pace. After a while you should be able to finish the stage with 2 or 3 seconds left. Hope for SCR and get Xern.

Also, Yveltal is 110 (Xerneas is 100, for comparison) and Genesect is 180. All four of these, counting Mewtwo, are very good. Yveltal's probably the worst of the bunch but he's still decent.
Mobile should get the Kalos starters with the next stage update since that's 191-200, but given how long it took them to remember Genesect exists don't hold your breath. Out of those, Delphox is great for timed stages and the other two are alright elsewhere.

Just did my first all-items run on m-steelix. Team was M-Chomp (no candies) lv MAX, Heatran lv MAX, Ho-Oh lv 8, Delphox lv MAX. Got a score of around 53k which puts me at rank 233 in NA. For people wondering how high a score you'll need for the candy, it shouldn't have to be very high. This comp was actually one of the easier ones in my opinion, I don't know why some people were making a big deal out of it.

I never thought that Ditto needed nerfing. All that needs to be done to keep it balanced is to make it the last possible Pokemon you can catch after obtaining and S-Ranking everything else, and to ban it from competitions. It's the perfect reward for completing the game by allowing you to steamroll all of the stages you struggled through.

In reality we'll likely see Ditto someday, in some form. Normal, 50, Crowd Control? Same ability but a negative BP (reduces damage but keeps combis going?). It could potentially appear as a disruption too, maybe a stage summons rocks if you get a combo above a certain number so you have to aim for smaller combos to not get jammed up?

Now there are 4 other legendaries, one which comes in a safari with 5 other mons, all of which are new to me
Maybe it's been too long, but I don't remember so many events happening at once, at most I recall there being 2 events at a time
And oh god not the safari again, Sharpedo trainwreck, and Phione seems to be 3x rarer? Not sure I can do this, maybe I should just not bother after all

The main uses I get out of mega speedups are that they make escalation battles easier and they help on competition stages where mega start isn't available.
My general policy for using them so that I don't run into the whole "hoarding one-use items" problem some gamers have is to use my candies on whatever mega I'm using for the latest 200 escalation stages, and then build my candy reserve back up from the competitions in between escalations and the escalation candies themselves.
