The rarity of a unit when you pull it means fuckall. Your odds of pulling a 5* are only about 1%. What matter is the max rarity of the unit.

Stars are meaningless on their own, BE is all about units. Since you can upgrade unit ranks, a 3* Cecil will always be a better pull than a 4* Shadow, for example. Depending of the rest of your 3* units, you might want to reroll.

Remember this rerollfest will "end" on July 17 (last day for new accounts to get free stuff like 1000 lapis and 10 summon tickets). Also, try to save your lapis and just use summon tickets (you can buy 11 tickets for the price of 10 lapis summons on the Chest icon), and if you don't get something good in 3~6 pulls, you should probably reroll anyway (try to save some tickets for future rate-up banners).

It's almost like it's a gacha game. Factually 5* characters are about a 5% draw rate while the others are about 10%. But even within that certain obviously great characters like Cecil, exdeath and CoD are 1% while less desirable ones like zidane are 3%

I equip gilg with lifesiphon and st cross. LS beginning of fight until 2 charges. Once those are spent its St Cross. Which still does great damage even compared to his SSB.

Saint's cross is for damage so if you're using a knight for damage then you use it. If you don't have any knight SBs at all then you're probably bringing beatrix, agrias or Cecil so they can use protectga/shellga so armor strike on one of them in the other slot would be fine. If you have SC though you probably wouldn't be bothering with armor strike

Not every 5* character is drowning in auras. Cecil and Firion are pretty fine, for example. There are OCs with decent auras too, like Rakshasa (only her weapon gets a crazy aura). And I don't even get what Fina's costume is supposed to be if I just look at her combat sprite.

As far as exp/energy, vortex is still around the same (slightly better iirc) as the most exp efficient explorations. The difference is that you get less rank exp and no materials in exchange for being able to spend your energy quickly.
You certainly aren't getting better unit exp if you don't even grind explorations until exp cap (which is when the monsters stop spawning).

You go for the exploration that has the shit you (either from monster drops or collection points) and then you kill shit until there's nothing left to kill while visiting all three collection points. Phantom Forest is my personal favorite since it gives tons of magicite and its exp/energy ratio is only slightly worse than the highest exp vortex. I haven't farmed any other exploration maps yet so I can't say how they compare.

All the bosses get more resistance against an ailment if it is reapplied (each para you use the odds of the next working lower), it's just rng.

No, not really, I used blade bash again just after the effect stopped, you can also not poison him before and try poisoning after the first para to see if he is immune to debuffs after it.

I feel like I'm the only person who likes Vaan, I mean he's not like my favorite but I never had a problem with him, seems like a pretty cool kid who just did the best he could on the streets along with his qt gf. Had some pretty funny moments, pretty much a realistic nativity and innocence about him but also shows growth and maturity relatively quickly throughout the story. I don't really mind that he wasn't that important to the overall plot, sometimes you can just get swept up in situations in life - he ended up choosing to stick it out on a cool adventure, can't fault him for that.
