How does the TF2 (and more specifically the TF2 Competitive i.e UGC) treat scripting? How far can you go via modding your scripts and configs before it begins to remove skill from the game? For example, I have a medic script that spams voice commands to mask my uber. I know plenty of medics use said script, is it allowed in competitive? Or, my friend recently created a script that when a pyro airblasts, it swaps automatically to his secondary and fires, would that be allowed in competitive?

I have cerebral palsy and it's difficult to use a mouse and keyboard to play games so I resort to special gamepads to make playing feasible so there's a hard 'skill ceiling' to my play.
Now that I can't quick join pubs I can barely play effectively and constantly get paired up with wrecking crew steam rolling teams smashing my shit in all day and get blamed for losses even in casual.
Are community servers any better? Posted this in the dead thread apparently.

If it has to be the direct combat sticky launcher it should shoot faster with 6 stickies and regular damage. It'd mean putting damage faster, but you gotta reload sooner. I'd think it's a good trade off.

The removal of fizzling is possibly one of the most ass-backwards changes they've ever made: They very clearly had the intent of one sticky launcher being good for offense, one for defense, and stock being proficient at both. But now that quickiebomb stickies don't dissapear and they do more damage than the sco res's, they're pretty much a better choice for setting and forgetting.

The casuals and public in NA already all switched off to Pokemon Go, and the remainders are just former TF2 comp players. Once the association with TF2 truly sets in on the remaining playerbase, people will just leave and it'll be another niche e-sports game like SC2 and HotS and Hearthstone because they wanted Hat Fortress 3 but Blizzard is doing a shit job at it. The pistol at longer ranges is less effective than you think, think like instead of 8 damage pistol shots he gets 10.
It would make it more resistant to shotguns/miniguns at close range which is where he suffers, but explosive have almost no ramp up so they still hurt pyro the same.
It would make scout less effective because the scattergun gets the 175% rampup flattened quite a bit (meatshots doing 80ish damage)

I used to be able to find a server with any map I felt like playing at any time of the day with 30 ping or less, usually 5 ping, now its just community servers all running the same maps and bad ping

The blueprint doesn't make sense. The ham is described as poultry. I don't know any poultry food that comes in slices, so I just used Black Forest ham. Like I said, I've had teams with two spies or two pyros at once more often than I had them with two scouts or two soldiers. And when they ready up before your team is all there, you end up in snakewater as scout accompanied only of two spies and the match lasts two minutes. Such is life in fresh meat.

It's because in a 1v1 vacuum, yeah. You're right. It's generally not hard.
But the sniper isn't some random guy on a server. They're on a team with 8 other people. Spy is all about getting the right picks at the right time. An overhealed with a Razorback sniper is never going to be the right time. They're usually next to someone else, especially the engie/pyro or combo, too. So it's already a chore and a half to shoot the sniper to death. And if you survive, you're already compromised and lost that element of the surprise for at least 10+ seconds and possibly wasted a better opportunity.
Really, the probably only way it'd be fairly balanced for 9s is to remove the inability to pull out a watch after stabbing the razorback. Then both parties involved get to react. The problem is it just makes it even more useless in pub games.
