I already addressed this in that same post with the Spy example.
My point is that Domination badges can sometimes still be good to discern what players could potentially be a larger problem to your team, but they need a good player behind making those decisions to know when it's good to focus the player who's dominating you, and when it's better to kill a higher-priority enemy even when they are not dominating you.

The thing about competitive rankings is that it's just an overall thing. It doesn't account for different classes, or how shitty your team was, which is pretty important for a team based game. It needs to be a lot more complicated than just pure KDR.

Nope. Solo queue will put you up against both experienced stacks and randos.
I heard that your actual rank isn't that important when you get matched with other players, You actually have a hidden MMR which is used instead.
Also solo queue matches you with other solos/some duo queues. It generally tries to match up premade teams together to make it more even. so a 6 man queue will match another 6 man queue.

All medi guns fot the speed buff because no medics were using other medi guns. The increased uber rate and the speed/mirror jumping made it a direct upgrade for 6s with the downsides being minor compared to the upsides.
It was either remove the speed and mirror jumping or upgrade all medi guns to put them on equal ground. And besides it's still only the quick fix that has the mirrr jumping so you only get the speed advantage with scouts in a typical 6s meta

The detonator isn't viable for mobility because it takes a massive chunk out of your health every time you use it to do what isn't much higher than a scout double jump
It's only really useful for getting over larger gaps which only save you a couple of seconds at most, although it is my favorite secondary

Please someone answer me this, it's literally driving me crazy.
I picked up tf2 in january after following the scene for a very long time (mostly a console player, got a pc strictly for tf2). I main medic and I wish to become a really good one. I started playing in lobbies after reading all the guides I could find, after coming here and asking for advice, I thought this is it, I'm gonna show up on lobbies and I'm gonna be a good medic.
Roughly 50 lobbies later and I hate myself, I regret doing everything, I regret even picking this game up; Every single game my team starts losing and they all blame me. I die because they fail to protect me, I get called a retard. Every three games my whole team calls me incompetent for not healing them when I'm literally healing all the time and have as much heals as the other medic even though we're losing.
Admittedly I died at lot at first, now I stay behind all the time, uber when they tell me, play very cautious and everyone is still saying I suck. They get mad for not doing very situational shit like uber a scout to defend a mid point, and although I understand people can get mad, I don't get why it's worth like 3 people making fun at me all the time.
I watch pro medic videos on youtube I see them die on the first fight for mid. I do the rollout heals as I'm supposed to. I never roll solo and I never chase for heals.
I'm from a big city, I can take banter. I'm aware of PC gaming culture but seriously this is so demoralizing; The community is so unwelcoming and I'm anticipating like 2, 3 retards replying something totally besides the point before I get a real answer.
Is it normal for people to get this salty and mean to their medic in lobbies? I wish I could take you all with me to tell me what I'm doing wrong. If there are insider guides to playing well please show them to me because I don't know what to do, I'm scared of playing pubs but not beginner's intimidation, I'm just tired of people blaming me for losing.
