DAO seems to treat them like the same thing when it comes to representation which is probably because they didn't have all the lore down at that point

Well, those were elves that were murderstomped while in Uthenara though. And I guess I meant a place where the veil was so thin that you see things that are from the fade itself while you're in the cave, and vice versa.
They look dwarven in nature. But I have a few different theories. One being that it's dwarven sarcophagi from the first days of theirseparation from the titanand that's why it's tucked away in a cave so old and untouched by man.
Another is that it's perhaps a holding device made from material of the void itself to trap the Forgotten Ones or Old Gods even. The type of void material is maybe eating through the veil itself and opening up little pockets where reality and the fade collide.

You mean the dwarves or the elves? Morrigan's dlc does confirm that elves used to live with dwarves, but that was after Solas made the veil and (possibly) gave dwarves free will by weakening the titan's influence so it wouldn't have anything to do with uthenera
