She could actually fill her role of flying in, fucking up the backline, and flying out instead of flying in, getting her mech killed before doing any damage, and then maybe getting away on foot.

No, it's entirely dependent on the work and its purpose. The word villain comes from Anglo-French and Old French vilain "peasant, farmer, commoner, churl, yokel". As long as you aren't standing in a stupid place that a tire/genji could easily drop on you from it's very, very hard for a Junkrat to kill you. You can only negate tire damage as Zarya or by careful positioning as Rein (though 20 tick usually fucks that), admittedly a Zarya shield only delays tire detonation by 2 seconds assuming he doesn't see another target, but that's more than long enough for team mates to plink it down (or Zarya to kill it herself depending on charge)
