Uh, 5/6ths of the station is wasted space. Either make a floor tile bot assembly, bag it, and save the prox in your box or buy an emergency crate from the supplies list at cargo. If you aren't gonna do that, glass off most of the breach and secure the glass so it doesn't leak. You can "fix" breaches in 1/10th the time.
Spend like 10 hours just completely building the derelict up including machinery, computers, and using flatpacks so you know how and know the common machine reqs. I think you can sandbox spawn mommi fabs so do that on the station then there take rooms completely apart. fire alarms, intercomms, airlocks, apc's, pipes, walls, machines, computers then put them back together again. Also should learn to use the soldering iron and fixing emagged doors.. Set stuff on fire so you need to cool it. Cause massive freezing plasma floods both locally and through distro. Cause depressurization. Hunt for breaks under airlocks and where stuff runs under machines/comps where they'd partially obscure the t-ray scanner.
Special mention, get experience with building/flatpacking sleepers/body scanners/ cryo, freezer, & its piping/ dna machine/cloning rigs/rnd setup, and other shit that links up. You need to know how to fix shit when the clone pod is right there but the cloner says clone pod not found. Or when cryo or the freezer isn't actually connected. To know to rebuild the sleeper/body scanner when you make it from a flatpack so you get the console.
Learn how to hack apc's, air alarms, airlocks, etc. Learn how to swap apc cells and where to get/charge them.

Learn how to setup telcomms. Something got touched with servers so it's not as easy to cockblock scritps but most fuckery if you just cannot figure it out, you can still get a bag of micro lasers & manips from cargo/mechanics/rnd/salvaging, setup a second telcomms then go cut the short wire on the telcomms apc to bypass whatver's fucked.
Have the station map open in dream maker until you know how each station links in to distro/the powernet
If you're bored and have more autism than sense, run either an airmixer or oxygen into a thermal plate space chiller. Turn off the fill pumps when it hits 168,303 mol. Pump it into a canister once it hits 7-8.15k and stops dropping in pressure in the chiller. Take it to the TEG room, shut off the scrubbers, unwrench the left heat circulator, refit the hot loop with a layer manifolded valved heat exchanger and start up the burn chamber on a trickle. Then open your heat exchanger valve to warm the oxygen/air canister back up to 20C/293.15k. You can re-pressurize a dept and some from complete vacuum with one.
In your down time, if nobody is using atmos just do shit with it. Try all kinds of experiments to use stuff you don't know so you familiarize yourself with shit.
Don't forget that spraying foam extinguishers cools shit down. Pull a water tank, take 3 foam extinguishers and you can rapidly cool shit. tl;dr, even 6-bomb, singuloose and plasma flood aren't shit if people pitch in.
