I had some...clogging issues on my conveyorbelts, though. At least 10 of the gunners fell off the belt due to their being so many.
But 10 out of 60 something gunners wasnt so bad. I wish picking up bodies and manually placing them on things wasnt so clunky.
Oh and it seems that the cannon launcher does in fact launcher people.
I can't think of a practical use for this, but it was fun I guess. I was kinda thinking of dumping gunner bodies in it to launch them all into a hopper, but that would be too much work and wouldnt even be reliable.

I've actually looked at that quest in the CK. Well, its not there, but its referenced only one time. It was supposed to trigger when you do the Battle of Bunker Hill sucessfully. I imagine it was cut because it contradicts how Father feels about synths.
But on the other hand...after Father dies, and the SS becomes the leader...I dunno why he couldn't ask for a personal synth. The name of the quest was going to be inst304. I doubt it will be in Nuka World or that Vault building DLC unless Vault tec had some kind of weird stem-cell research on dwellers that can cure ded people experiment. Besides...that mod that one guy is making is close enough.

To be honest I dont see the point of editing settlers faces unless you could do more with them than making them plant tatos or scavenge. I really hope the jobs you can give settlers in Vault DLC are more beneficial.

You really should be able to send groups of settlers to scavenge/clear out locations for you. Depending on their gear level versus that of the enemies in that area, you'll either hear back from them or you won't.

I don't really know, as I never played it. However, if you deck out a bunch of settlers and don't hear back, I imagine you'd have to go find out how they died or were captured. Would make for some interesting quests.
