Sephiroth has +1000 and Atk Boost II and DDD Sora had 25% Guilt. I also used a +1000 Atk Boost II Stitch with 23% Guilt as a Friend Medal. Even then, both Atk Boost IIs had to proc or I couldn't 1-turn him.

No, he wasn't. The issue of Sora even being near a master doesn't come up until Dream Drop Distance, of which the Mark of Mastery is a central point of that game.

I can see some people who would try to take it there, but it wouldn't work that way because you can argue that if Sora had did the same thing with Jack in 3D that he did in 2, that it would be a better case. Anyway, while he wasn't a master in KH2, Nomura's interviews imply that he either passes another Mark of Mastery between 3D and 3 or he passes really early in 3. The first interviews that mention this kind of conflict on when it happens and I believe they were before 2.8's announcement so maybe that issue will be more clear in 3D HD.

In the battles, there's a slot mechanic constantly running in the background called the DMW (digital mind wave), which acts as a limit break and leveling up mechanic. Eraqus and Aqua were up against an enemy Master so it kinda balances out. Especially since they didn't even know Xehanort was responsible until partway through.

Well the biggest difference is that Re:CoM is 3D and features fully-voiced cutscenes in Castle Oblivion.
Beyond that, there are new cards, new mechanics, new/differing boss fights.
The only real problem, as far as I see it, is that Re:CoM's normal Heartless encounters are bloated with significantly more waves and Heartless per wave, which makes encounters unnecessarily long compared to CoM.

I gotta say I didn't like how in ReCoM during the fights against the Organization, suddenly switches to these circle platforms surrounded by darkness. I preferred fighting in the hallways, but I suppose that would've made the fights easier.
I was very glad that I didn't have to worry about getting murdered by Captain Hook though. And moving through the rooms in a world was fun.

The whole game is completely redesigned to function in three dimensions. Bosses have totally different/expanded movesets to compensate.

Some dialogue from GBA CoM was left out of ReCoM, and they added Lexaeus saying "Forgive me Zexion." when he was defeated by Riku.
Also we didn't fight Zexion in GBA CoM since he said he wouldn't risk that. Then in ReCoM he says the same thing except he does fight Riku, so...that was silly. And they left out Axel's best line that happens after he actually felt some emotion, showing that he was definitely enjoying the violence in Castle Oblivion.

Once you run out of story quests, you'll be hurting for jewels. Do you really want the Donald outfit? If yeah, go for it I guess, otherwise get one of the cheaper ones or play the Daily Deal in badges(not the 3k roll, the 600 is cheaper and you get more medals) every day to get better badges. The game is actually super stingy. You get 500 jewels in five days, so without a story update or paying you get to do one (1) daily deal every week.We get like 50 quests a month or something which is 1500 jewels but that's still only half of one 10 pull every month. 10 pulls previously being the only way to get the fancy premium medals really shafts everyone that's f2p unless they save all of their jewels for these special weeks. It's a great business model but it's terrible for the players. They really don't give you any incentives to keep playing. The 1 AP event is a godsend, and the 2.8 one would be god awful with those drop rates if the quests cost anything more than 1 AP.

It gets worse one you get caught up with the quests. A single Epic Medal Carnival (the only 10-pull I would recomment) will cost 3000 Jewels. The Daily Login Jewel gives you 500 Jewels over 5 days. In order to do a single pull with free Jewels, it will take you 30 days on consecutive logins to do one single pull and even then you're not guaranteed to get anything good. As a F2Pfag, my best advise is to be very Jewish with your shekel-, er Jewels.

Hmm, well this game is in it's infancy so to speak. Often these types of games get more F2P friendly to keep up with other games but who knows with this one. At least it seems in most cases you can do most if not all of the content on F2P badges alone. You shouldn't be leveling every medal to 6* solely because of that. You should reserve the amount of 6*s that your Cost can allow to Guilt'd farmables or Premium/Limited medals. Leaving them at 5* 80/80 is good enough for most of the utility medals and AOE damage medals (which usually get out-damaged by Guilt'd farmables of the same SP cost). Single-target damage medals can usually be 6* on a case-by-case basis unless it has to compete with the F2P God that is 1 SP Guilt'd Stitch.

First off, most of the 2* and below medals are what is called Story (or farmable) medals. Once you reach Quest 250, these will probably be the first medals you will 6* because they can be Guilted (see the Meow Wow pic above to learn more about Guilt). Each of the attribute has an AoE Story medal for 1 SP (Tidus/Selphie/Wakka), 2 SP (KH Sora A/Donald A/Goofy A) and 3 SP (Rikku/Yuna/Paine). Depending on your playstyle and SP preference, you can it's your decision which ones to Guilt, but keep in mind that the 1 SP medals will do the least single-turn damage but have the best SP efficiency, the 3 SP medals will be the reverse, and the 2 SP medals will be somewhere in between.
In addition to those AoE medals, each attribute will have a 2-Medal Strength Buffer (Hayner/Olette/Pence) which is pretty much dogshit once you get any one of KHII Aerith/Vivi/DiZ. Lastly, each attribute gets another wild card story medal. Jiminy (M) is Cure, which doesn't heal much and is beaten out by the Tinkerbell that you have. Young Hercules (P) is a 2 SP AoE medal that gets stronger as more turns goes by. Goofy A will do more damage than Young Herc until turn and since the game favors ending fights as soon as possible, Goofy A usually ends up being the better 2 SP AoE medal. Stitch (S) is a single-target damage medal that gets more powerful depending on how many specials were used before him. Because of this, he is best used in the last slot of any Keyblade that uses him. Also he is the only single-target damage-focused story medal besides DDD Sora/Riku from the ongoing 2.8 event, so he is a commonly Guilt'd medal due to his high multiplier (single target usually have higher multipliers than multi target), and it can go even higher if you use other medals' specials before him.

The Jewel-only medals are much more varied. There is a Jewel version of each of the AoE story medals, Young Hercules, and Stich and a general rule of thumb is that the Guilt'd story medals will do more damage with their Specials than un-Guilt'd Jewel medals. Also Jewel medals are harder to Guilt since they rely on you pulling them from the Jewel Draw, compared to the story medals which you can farm.
For the most part, any decent medal is worth leveling up to 5* 80/80, but 6*'ing a medal massively increases their Cost so only 6* your best medals or medals you're planning to Guilt.
With that out of the way, here are the medals I would recommend keeping:
HD Aqua: Limited medal
Leon A: Jewel version of Selphie
Master Form: Jewel version of Stitch; would recommend fusing your copies once they're both 5*
KHII Kairi: Speed+2 buff
Hercules: 3 SP single target
Mulan: Jewel version of Tidus
Limit Form: 2 SP single target; would recommend fusing your copies once they're both 5*
KHII Mickey: Better version of Auron/Yuna, but Guilt'd Yuna does more damage
Tinkerbell: Cura is decent until you pull a Minnie
Here are situational medals that you can keep until you get better options:
Simba: 3 SP AoE, does worse damage than Paine unless the enemy is Poisoned but even then you usually only have one enemy Poisoned at a time and you're using 3 SP on it
Tifa: Okay single target medal; you might use Limit Form more since he costs 1 SP less; pretty good if you do get the Sleep bonus though
KH Yuffie: Same as Simba but for Paralysis instead, which is the worst status effect
Genie: Same special as KH Yuffie; I believe Genie has higher Strength than Yuffie but lower Defense and vice versa

It's been a little while since I've fired up KH1 but I believe there's final save before you go fight Ansem SoD called the Final Rest. After you complete the game that should be your last save point, so the game will load from there so you can complete the journal from there, then just play though the final boss. That's if I'm remembering correctly.

Honestly DDD is at its best in NG+, when you carry over your Spirits to a new save and don't have to spend time figuring out which ones you want to put effort into.

Imagine a more barebones Lego game but the characters had many more abilities and combos and the story playsets were fun to go through at least once. That's pretty much how DI was though they stepped up their game in 3.0 and were going even further with 4.0 until they canned it. I personally think it was worth it, and the figures are all nice to the point that I was getting characters I just felt so-so about. Getting a new character was like getting a Christmas present and you got to mess around unlocking new skills and fighting stuff.
The problem is that outside of the playsets the game was HORRENDOUS. Toy Box involves an insane amount of time investment to make any level on par with the playsets which is why no one ever bothered and released what amounted to giant plots of land that occasionally had one or two things scattered about, enemies miles away from each other, the most simplistic platforming you can imagine, and glitches everywhere due to their shoddy care for their levels. Even the levels the DI team themselves promoted were just barely playable.
The rest of the stuff left to you is really repetitive minigames that earn you basically nothing, and grinding for EXP is MMO tier.

Probably just as a parallel to Kingdom Key. My guess is it's to mirror how both Sora and Riku went about saving Kairi in KH1. One took the path of light, the other darkness. Hence why you unlock it after battling Riku for the last time.

It's literally supposed to be the Riku equivalent to Oathkeeper anyways. Oathkeeper's teeth is the kanji for Light while Oblivion's is that for Darkness. It'd be better if the token was something relative to Riku instead of being a black crown.
