Yeah, and Patty got the worst redesign.
But yeah, the only time you'll hear the big zeds is when they spawn. Scrakes are essentially silent, even raged, and likewise husks are basically silent. You can somewhat hear gorefasts blades pr sirens' harnesses groaning, as well as the patter of crawlers, but everything else just get drowned out.

What I think they should do is have XP scaled so that levels 0-5 gets extra xp from normal difficulty matches, levels 5-15 gets extra xp from hard, 15-25 from suicidal etc.

I guess they could also increase drop rate for cosmetics, but im not sure

This is a big issue that I still dislike about this game, and we found out why a long time ago. Aside from any original character the zeds had, the audio of all their noises is actually there (also evidenced in those sound-reel videos). The problem is that the volume levels for them are incredulously fucking low, which made it seem like they didn't emit noise at all beyond some scraping (it was several times worse compared to now.) The game also seems to have soundscape problems in general. After the recent update, I've noticed that I've actually been able to hear the zeds much better, but it's still really garbage information for awareness.

Firebug for being horrible against trash and Shrapnel being horrible now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but KF2 has more enemies per wave than KF1 right? Combine that with the resistance patch and now the amount of ammo we have now doesn't seem that great.

TW keeps fucking with the ammo economy in this game and it's not fun. They throw all these super fast super tanky zeds at you and then they give you fuck all ammo to deal with it. It feels like borderlands at times.

Gungame: Free for all deathmatch with no perk restriction. Gun spawn timers should be abit delayed and random at best. Higher tier weaponry shouldn't spawn at all.
Domination: Special large maps which allow you to unlock and remove barricades with explosives to hold up more tactical positions in the map. Deeper position traders in the map have better equipment, and players can respawn at seperated areas on death which makes things harder.
Money pool: Adds a money pool which requires you to spare excess money to reach your unlocked arsenal (achievement reward or DLC).

Probably both will be DLC, since we're having lots of "Free Content Packs" lately.

Achievement unlocked weaponry with possibly low amount of DLC unlocks. Finished a certain map in Suicidal or HoE under a certain time limit? You get rewarded with a weapon case.
System should be simple enough so more the you play, you will "want to" buy DLC instead of feeling forced.

You skipped like half of my post bro, including reading the previous one. Game has 4 weapon tiers planned and all filled, what's the point of going tier5-tier6-tier7 anymore which apparently have to give players more and more power. When you look at the weapon scheme.

The crates/USBs themselves are always near worthless, and if actual cosmetics were to drop, people would reliably be able to produce items, flooding the market, and reducing the value, as they do not have to be obtained through spending actual money

Frost nades don't seem to do jack to scarkes and fleshpounds. Are they flatout immune or do I have to catch them with multiple nades?

Crossbow or Railgun? M14 can take out scrakes quite well but it seems that with the FP's resistance to bullets the crossbow ends up doing equal or more damage?

perhaps they could make a sort of block of ice that forms a solid barrier, preventing zeds from passing

similarly, it would freeze up the entire lower half of a Sc/Fp, making them unable to move entirely

alternatively, it could be made to make the ice slippery, knocking down any zed that walks over it (this would be silly)

It's still pretty bad. Stalkers especially are far too tanky for how evasive they are. One of the main draws of this game is that the weapons felt powerful no matter what difficulty you were on but now some guns just feel weak to the point that the game feels more like an RPG than an FPS. I'm sure tripwire can find a way to make the game challenging and still let guns feel powerful instead of resorting to turning the game into a slogfest

Yes, alt fire to switch firing modes.
I think the MWG is still affected by the splash damage perk but Firebug is not really worth playing either way so it shouldn't be of any concern.

One of my friends who played for the free weekend compared how the game felt to Borderlands too.

Long story short, I taught him the value of not fighting someone half naked when they're covered in steel plate with a giant shield and a big axe, then as soon as I killed him I got sent back home.
